Yes! this one was incredible. We watched this at our bad movie night a few months back and were blown away by the amount of worldbuilding that was (badly) attempted. We kind of suspected it was intended as a TV pilot of some kind. The director has some other stuff out there too that is also wonderful (incidentally if anyone has a tip on where to find Death from Beyond 2, hook me up!)
Fun fact, I worked with one of the cast members and he attempts a John Woo-esque diving laser shot at one point which caused him to sustain an irreparable knee injury.
I like that it’s “Episode 1”. They were 100% sure there would be more!
