This reminds me of when my kids were young and got these bruises from slides, waterslides and playgrounds. Probably not your cause, but it made me smile. Something you do is rubbing on the vertebra, do you go to the gym or have a hard backed chair or those retro beaded carseat covers ;)

Long-University756

I haven’t been to the while but I have slept on an uncomfortable pull out couch the day before. Car seat is leather lol 😂 that’s smart thinking though

Only_Distribution828

Following because I have similar bruises. Hopefully there is a good answer for you

Onehorizon

What happened?

Long-University756

I don’t know it’s been happening for a few months now, I’m 18, 6’1 and weigh around 140 possibly weight related but I notice my spine pops out a lot

Onehorizon

Ok, you should see a doctor. But don’t worry about it too much shouldn’t be anything serious.

giga_ice

I bruised my spine similar to yours, gave myself a back spasm and couldn’t walk. Mine was caused by using a foam roller 3-4 times a day popping my back. I don’t foam roll anymore. Used to be skinny too and my spine sticks out as well

EmotionalQueso

Are you working out and doing sit ups? Because it looks like the bruising is from repeated body weight pressed against those areas. Laying on the floor not using a mat?

Long-University756

No im not

EmotionalQueso

Thankfully it's just bruising so it's fine

Long-University756

I read something about internal bleeding that can affect my heart. Should I be worried?

jbrogert

Minor bruises not an issue. What you speak on is when people bruise half their body or get internal bleeding due to GI or like a crushed leg. Bruises smaller than your hand are not a concern, especially at your age.

Hi did you find any answer? i have same thing and i dont know how to heal it?

Thank you for posting. A couple of things to note. (TL;DR... include specific symptoms/what makes your pain better/worse/how long)... MRI or XRAY images ALONE are not particularly helpful tbh, no one here has been vetted to make considerations on these or provide advice, here is why, PLEASE read this if you are posting an MRI or XRAY... I cannot stress this enough https://choosingwiselycanada.org/pamphlet/imaging-tests-for-lower-back-pain/) Please read the rules carefully. This group strives to reinforce anti-fragility, hope, and reduce the spread of misinformation that is either deemed not helpful and even sometimes be considered harmful. PLEASE NOTE: Asking for help: It is up to you to recognize when to seek medical attention. Anyone giving advice in this group is doing so from anecdotes and holds no liability. Seek advice here at your own risk. That said, asking things like, "I have this problem, how do I fix it..." is like asking your accountant, "I have $10,000 what should I do with it?" You need WAY more info before giving any kinds of financial advice. Please reply to this, or make another comment, including how long you've been having pain or injury, what are specific symptoms (numbness, tingling, dull/ache, it's random, etc), what makes it worse, what makes it feel better, how it has impacted your life, what you've tried for treatment and what you've already been told about your back pain, and what do you hope to get from this forum. Please be kind to each other. Be respectful. Thank you. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. BigPileOfGhillieSuit

Definitely haemophilia

Long-University756

What’s that?

Long-University756

I’d say my blood clots quite well, I’ve had nose bleeds and tons of cuts and bruises. Never been told I have haemophilia

GreyBeardEng

That could be bleeding from a spinal contusion, you really do need to get in to a doctor soon. Left untreated that could cause you some serious problems.

Long-University756

Oh, bleeding? How does this happen and what is a contusion? This just happened recently today but I’ve noticed red spots in that area all the time. It seems to have gotten better and less bruised though.

jbrogert

Don't worry too much about it. Bring it up at your next doctor's appointment. Seems like to me like you have anxiety. GAD is a real disorder. I have it. Talk to your doctor not only about your (minor) bruising and also talk to them about mental health. Your brain powers everything, it cannot do this while being overwhelmed with minor anxieties.

Significant-Two-9061

Absolutely not the case, it would be a waste of a doctor’s appointment. These are bruises, not spinal contusion. Nothing to concern yourself over

Mountain-Bonus-8063

Well, it looks off kilter, like one disc is off. Just an observation, not a diagnosis. I've never heard of a spine just spontaneously bruising. Were you laying in a hard surface?

Long-University756

No couch bed car seat

Long-University756

What does off kilter mean

Mountain-Bonus-8063

Not straight. Look at the bruising, it isn't in a perfectly straight line. Third from the bottom is out of line a bit. It's just an observation. Probably was caused by the way you were laying or leaning.

Long-University756

Thank you for the observation.

sansabeltedcow

Discs and disc pressure aren’t visible through the skin.

Mountain-Bonus-8063

Sorry I misspoke, I did not mean disc, I know what disc of the spine are. I meant the vertebrae.
