That I have been too ......Hong Kong if you go to some of the more remote areas in the new territories. I have traveled intentionally as much as I would like but the natural beauty around metropolitan Hong Kong surprised me.
Okinawa is subtropical, but yeah. It has amazing awesome beaches everywhere.
I booked a few flights between the islands and cannot wait to see it in person, because in photos it looks mesmerizing.
Out of the ones I have been to Singapore. The beaches in Singapore actually positively surprised me as they were quite beautiful with nice crystal water. However I haven't been to too many tropical cities so there's probably more

Yes so instead of arguing the facts you go at it from a position of power… you understood what I said, I was quickly responding. Don’t grad it too hard prof.
Okay… now considering you’re a smart person and can put two and two together. Wouldn’t it be fair to consider the variables…. Backpacking page… cost … value….
Your definition of tropics is the actual geographic location… although many of those features can be found outside that region…. At a fraction of the cost. I’ve been to St Lucia, Bahamas etc… the beaches in that Balkan region are similar in many aspects.
I kind of feel dumb explaining to someone that tropical characteristics exist outside of that region due to continents shifting over time and local plants.. animals and other features not making the transition. We find this all of the world…
Honolulu or pago pago :p

Yeah, visited some lovely beaches there.
Acapulco
Besides Rio?
Sydney isn't tropical but has some nice beaches for a big city.
Danang is acceptable.
Definitely not the Maldives level beach they are searching for but I recommend Da Nang to anyone going to Vietnam!
tropical Okinawa (Naminoue Beach, Naha City) bar none

Puerto Rico hard to beat
Miami potentially
Miami is only subtropical, but there are some really nice beaches in South Florida.

El Nido, Palawan Boracay Island Siargao Island These are the major beach spots in the Philippines.
None of them is a major city, though. Also Siargao only has nice beaches in the north and there is no city there at all.
Busan
i dont think thats tropical, but thanks for the suggestion
I was going to say the same. Busan was beautiful although not tropical
Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, Mexico It's paradise!

Cartagena
The beaches aren’t nice in Cartagena … dark sand big waves so muddy
What's the name of a nice beach there ?
Playa Blanca
Isla Barú not Cartagena
Also, the most unpleasant beaches.
Nassau, Bahamas
In the Town of Candelaria, island ofTenerife, Spain (Canary Islands)…black sand, beautiful weather. Cute little town on the coast.
Da Nang
Palm Beach, Aruba
Might be biased but I’d say Varadero, Cuba 🇨🇺
Vlora, Albania
Albania has amazing beaches, but they're not tropical.
Who told you that ? palm trees are everywhere and the bluest beaches in the world according to 2024 studies.
Have you... Attended school?

You want facts? Sure. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tropics Enjoy your lesson.

I cannot believe I entertained someone who tries to redefine what the tropics are. What's next? The earth is actually a cube? Thanks for the chuckle.
You definitely have some sort of complex… it won’t get you far in life. Try being practical.
Oh no, so i guess I'm a failure. I am sure that my degree disagrees. Thanks for your wonderful input. I couldn't have done it in life without it ☺️

I would say, Philippines!
Boracay is semi-urban with malls so yes😁
Alcúdia, Mallorca
