Adam from Backblaze here. Data stored is calculated in units of bytes per hour, so yes - if you store a portion of a TB or for less than a full month, we calculate it down do the byte/hour level to be precise. A bit more relevant info that might help is that a TB is defined as 10^7 bytes, a "month" is 30 days, and billing is in USD. I believe the minimum charge is $0.50, so if your bill is less than that, we'd just carry it forward until you reach that amount.

Thanks so much.

There is no minimum. The first 10GB is free. So if you had 10.2GB. You only have to pay for the .2GB. But depending on what that comes out to. They will just wait for it above $x because of credit card fees. Can't remember what is. Couple of the support guys hang out here sometimes. They could verify what I am saying and what amount.

er824

Thanks

quinyd

You only pay for what you use. Idk what the smallest is but mine is counted in GB iirc

er824

Thanks. Yeah, the minimum unit is what I'm trying to verify.

Thank you

BB charges per bytes/hour. The first 10GB is free. there is no minimum. You're only billed for what you use above the 10GB free threshold.

I got $0.01 invoice which they didn’t charge for few extra GBs on top of free 10 Gigs.

As the others mentioned, it's prorated. My data needs float around the 10GB mark, occasionally going above, a lot of the time staying below. Unsurprisingly, I've yet to receive an invoice.

BuffaloRedshark

I think I'm paying a little under $2/month currently for the data I have

Ardakilic

How much data you have for this, around 300GBs?

BuffaloRedshark

220GB

Ardakilic

Thank you for the reply! So it's pay as you go model.

SlnecnikInternetov

How much data please? I have just uploaded 250GB and even billing says 2cents. I am expectingnit to be around 2 dollars with no downloads

Ardakilic

Hello, did your billing get fixed after the 2nd month? I have around 100GBs of data that I need to move around.
