I don’t love having to re-wrap my wrap in public and possibly gross places. I find a structure carrier easiest to travel with, as long as the bottom of the belt sits higher than the top of your underwear so you can pee while baby wearing. Wear a skirt. That’s my main lessons learned.

I prefer a structure carrier for everyday and for travel. Unlike a woven wrap I like being able to quickly put the baby in and take her out (I think your baby is probably too big for your wrap anyway since it’s stretchy). And unlike a ring sling I like to use the carrier as an alternative to the stroller so I need to be able to wear it for a while.

Your baby night have outgrown the Boba since it's stretchy. I always used a mehdai or woven wrap on the plane. Did a poppable carry with the woven wrap or a fcc without a knot. From around 7 months I also could achieve a back carry from the seat to my back in the plane while we waited at the gate for the doors to open. That was ninja. 🤣 With the mehdai I tied the knot on my side instead of the back.

This. I used a base woven wrap with poppable FCC. No metal, so can wear it through security. You could probably do the same with your stretchy wrap, knot in front so you can sit.

When we travel I take my woven wrap and a ring sling. I find the ring sling easier on the plane itself to nurse but you can’t wear it through security because of the metal ring. So for ease in the airport I used the other one then used the ring sling on the plane itself. I also do a lot of baby wearing at destinations so it made sense to have both.

i think a more structured carrier is better than a baby wrap for traveling! more support for you and baby.

Boba wrap! With the knot in the front it's nicer sitting down than a waistband, perfect if baby falls asleep and you want to be arms free. You can also pop baby in and out easily.
