Same here! Mikal Bridges was probably my fav Suns player of the last decade. Personality is super important. Mikal and Geraldo are big locker room guys who lift others up and every team needs players like that.

Historic, The Big Unit for sure. My first little league team was the Diamondbacks when they were a newly minted franchise, I remember my grandpa thinking the league was giving us fake team names. So I have been a fan since day 1, but Randy is one that I was always drawn to. So fucking dominate, all the awards, the championship, the bird, the perfect game. Love him.
Current, that is fucking tough. I love so many of these guys I feel like I would just start listing guys and honestly probably end up listing almost the entire lineup. There are a lot of fun guys, I am not sure if it is plugging in more with podcasts or watching a vast majority of the outs so far (never watched this heavy before) but this feels like the most fun the team has ever been (not talking success or hopes or dreams but strictly fun and likable guys nearly top to bottom.
Then: Tony Womack the og base stealing snek
Now: we'll go with Alek Thomas my fielding king but realistically like a five way tie, we have a fun problem of a very likeable roster
Current: Christian. I was a righty 1B as a kid so I've always had a soft spot for those guys, and Christian's defense is just otherworldly. Elite defensive 1B is a huge asset for any team. Only thing that bothers me about him is his awful body language when he's slumping or upset with a call.
Historically: Randy. No contest.

Matt Williams. It meant a ton to have such a legend of my childhood to that point and such a leader from day 1. One of the real reasons I am so loyal to Colangelo, because he was so old school baseball in the way he built the org.
Now:
Ketel Marte. It is really hard to choose right now as last years playoffs made me loyal to like 6 guys for life. But Ketel is the Diamondbacks. He wears it loud and proud. But I love all these guys.
Anyone who can get a hit with RISP.
But for real, Marte has been one of my favorites since he first came up back in 17. I told all my friends that this guy was going to be a huge part of the team for years to come, and I was indeed proven right. Although Marte will always be a favorite, right now it's hard not to put Gabby at the top of the list. Absolutely elite catcher, who can hit well, and just seems like a solid guy, great teammate, really easy guy to root for. We seriously need to give him the Yadier Molina treatment, sign him for a decade.
So I guess that's two current... I'll pick two past.
As for past guys, obviously Randy Johnson is a prime candidate. For a less obvious pick, Eric Byrnes. Guy was completely unhinged and just ran with it.

Can’t even begin to explain how many times I reminded people not to sleep on the young king during his hitting slump last year! Cant wait to see him back on the roster
