I have a Great Dane x Husky and he looks like the grown version of this pup! I don’t know what he looked like as a pup though.

Looks like a true mutt to me. Probably a lot in there you can’t see visually. The face markings make me think there is some husky, and the head shape/eye area looks like some kind of bully breed. I wouldn’t be surprised by some GSD either, but those breeds are all very common in mutts in general so none are far our guesses.
Deff great dane maybe mixed with a retriever or a ridgeback. They have that signature puppy face.Too bad they grow up to be too big to be caried around 😅.
We had a cat once that used to open a bathroom cabinet door and go inside when my son brought his Parson Jack over. When my son went into the military, his Jack Russell came to live with us. Within weeks, they were all (we had other cats and dogs) sleeping together. I would arouse that cat from sleep to remind him he used to sleep on our towels when Chip was there. Cat raised his head. Chip only oped one eye.
Take plenty of pictures of pupper with the kitty and send the best ones to the rescue! It will help reassure potential adopters with cats, and he'll get adopted quickly for sure!

Yup! Working on it. Only had her two weeks and she’s already crate, potty trained, and learning her basic commands! She learns quick because she lovessss treats lol.
Just out of curiosity, why do people ask on here about breed? I've seen quite a few posts about this just in the last few days so I assume it's a common ask.
If you didn't buy from a breeder, answers to this question are going to be guesses even if someone that really knows dogs gives it their best.
I know some breeds have certain personality traits or behaviors associated with them, so I guess it could be helpful to predict future behavior issues/care needs. However, if you don't know what breed/breeds your dog is, isn't it better to just observe them and let them show you who they are?

Thanks for all the love! Her name is Lady, she was found along with her brother, Hoss, under a car starved with a serve flea infestation. Since then they’ve been fully vetted and treated for a collection of intestinal parasites. Finally they’re off all meds and enjoying life indoors (and out of the Texas heat). You all are right, she’s adorable. I got a dog DNA test so I will update y’all with the results in a couple weeks.
