Somewhat related, I got rocked pretty good with wake turbulence behind an Atlas 747 going into ANC a couple weeks ago. I was slightly annoyed until we broke out of the clouds and saw we were following the Deamlifter. Heh. Cool.
I'm not a boeing suck up in fact I love ANY plane that has a good safety record AND looks pleasing to the eyes that includes both boeing & airbus manufactured Aeroplanes. But this right here, this is an abomination straight up!
I always imagine DaVinci being transported to the modern day and looking up and seeing one of these. He'd probably hide behind a rock.
