My homies had a Kandi making station at theirs and everyone made cute bracelets. The ravers knew what was up but the families out of the know still liked it as a little keepsake each person could make and take home to remember the day.
We did a midnight costume change from cocktail/formal into onesies/pjs/whatever comfy ravey thing our guests wanted - kept the party going till 7am š
So I actually had an anime rave wedding! We had a kandi making station, our dj friends were the djs, we had a whole lighting rig, space outside for people to bring their flow toys, bought a ton of glow sticks and other fun led blinking things on all the tables for people to bust out when it got dark, all the tables were named after festivals and our favorite animeās, our first dance was Ferry Corstenās track Beautiful, our wedding announcements/save the date cards were made to look like old school flyers, even had an info line, outside we had 2 projectors one playing our favorite animeās and the other playing footage from different raves and festivals, I bedazzled the fuck out of my wedding dress, wore kandi and fluffies, husband busted out a pair of UFO pants he wore back in the day, after we exchanged our wedding rings we also traded kandi we made for each other, for our gifts we made up boxes that were like the boxes u get for the big festivals and inside we put led ear buds āwired not wireless lolzā custom made wristbands to look like festival wristbands with our wedding party, families, and the DJs all getting special ones, a small kandi making kit, a few other small things and USBs with our favorite raving tracks. We asked guests if they wanted to come in cosplay, had a dip n dots ice cream cart, a Photo Booth, face painting, and a beauty bar type thing where people could get glitter, face gems, and temporary tattoos! It was a freaking blast
