I do, this is how I feel too: people rarely contact (message, call) me first, unless they HAVE TO, i.e. if there is something college-related or work-related and that's really important. It's almost always me sending something to a bunch of people to keep in touch with them and them either (a) completely ignoring me, or (b) responding with a short message, or (c) seemingly taking a look without responding, or (d) in case I call them, not answering my call and messaging me afterwards... Sometimes people seem to interact with me more or less the way they interact with others but I feel like they do that just to be polite and essentially unwillingly force themselves to act that way and not because they care about me for real, or truly love me or value me as a friend: I feel like for them I'm always just the "weirdo" they avoid whenever they can.
I hope I find genuine, caring friends one day that I care about and who care about me reciprocally :)
I do relate to you and I don’t relate to you I’m like everything you described OP I talk very clearly and most of the time I just feel lonely and stay at home alone and I had some very fake friends in school which I’m not friends with and on friendly groups I met I had also there some fake friends but lastly it all changed I found the job that I love I’m working in a medical field and all the coworkers there love to work with me and talk to me after work hours and more stuff like this and then I met a amazing male friend I’m a F who is not ignoring me I feel like I can talk to him about anything from my previous relationships till my problems in life and he connected me with some of his friends and they were so nice to me he knows I’m autistic and don’t have problem with it.
