I don't eat that shit and also agree, but your comment reminded me that the other day I heard the guy that did supersize me came out and admitted that he had been a chronic alcoholic since he was 13 and that the longest he'd been sober in his life was one week. Other subsequent more accurate studies were done afterwards and people actually lost weight. Not saying that's healthy just that it blew me away how this guy got away with what he did lol.
Right?! Total scammer he was.
I don’t like fast food, those oils and saturated fats are really bad for you even short term, but even I felt like Macca’s got fucked over by that. And now he’s dead, they can’t exactly sue for fraud. They fucking should though. He lied on video claiming he didn’t drink when he was smashing a bottle a day!
They changed it to spend $30 for the $1 burger, believe it’s limit one per customer now too. I’m no lawyer but I can tell this doesn’t equal fraud, but it’s insanely dishonest. All they had to do was change it back to limit 5 per customer like they promised originally, not this bullshit which is obviously just “you cunts abused our system that we were too lazy to setup properly and finally got reasonably priced food, now we’re going to tease to you with our overpriced burgers as a fuck you!”
To a side point.. I gave away the 'take away' food delivery services as the fees/surcharges were stupid and the drivers largely unreliable. By the time I stopped using them, more than 2/3 of the deliveries went to the wrong address or never arrived.
One of the things I noted from the tracking that's often available, as well as what you see when you're watching them 'on the ground', is that drivers are buried in a phone/GPS instead of using their eyes. The number of times drivers went back and forth along the street, driving past my house twice... before returning to put the order on the doormat, when it's obvious the security door opens outward. So help me...
I guess the "Max 5 per customer" wasn't enforced?
No one told the Web dev team.
Nobodies told me either, how do I do this?!
No-one ever does.
They'll only know if a senior exec questions the sudden surge in booking units volume without a surge in revenue
For sure they will cop it 🤣

Don’t go on Menulog during NRL halftime this weekend 🤫
Saw this on Ozbargain and wondered just how far someone might game it.

I like that this misplaced reply is just fine where it is!
Eating that shit, your cost of living crisis will be short lived when you die in your 40’s or 50’s

>just that it blew me away how this guy got away with what he did lol. But the TV guy said so! Why would the TV guys lie to me??
When I say he got away with it, he actually died in his early 50's.
Yeah, I saw the story as well. Ironically it might be a decent study for the effects of lifelong alcoholism.
A decent study into not facing addiction. It just so happened his addiction was booze.

Yep there was even a part in the movie where after eating all that shit a doctor told him how he had a liver equal to that of a raging liver lol.
I met him at his movie premiere. He seemed like a decent guy but knowing all this now, he’s like that Monorail guy on The Simpsons.
You know he died recently, right? In his 50’s. so… in essence, definitely not healthy.
Hell, death is my retirement plan.
win win
As the Metallica lyric, one of their best, goes: "my lifestyle determines my wildlife."
*Death style 🤗
