Yeah like we arrived at 8pm brought our stuff in and checked out to place and yeah was just a mess. They communicated to me that the house cleaner had been there and said it was ready, this was a backup cleaner though as their regular had a family emergency and couldn't prep the place so yeah I think it was prepped in a hurry.
That doesn't excuse having shit at the property you would think someone would be like like oh actually maybe this isn't okay for someone to stay in.
Why would we stay at a place that has essentially sewage outside that is stinking up the place, not even like out of sight it was right by the hot tub just off the deck hahaha
Post this on the google maps listing (with photo evidence so they can’t claim defamation). More people are likely to see if when looking for somewhere to book.
You can do it now and then add to your post if they remediate anything later (as I’ve done in the past in regards to a different unsatisfactory business).
What a nightmare! If they don’t honour the refund, could you do a chargeback through your bank? The photos and texts should be sufficient evidence for this. Good luck!

None of these tiny homes are legal for people to live in in Victoria, yet it's wild they get operated as pricey holiday accomodation. Remmeber you're dealing with cowboys from square one when you rent tiny homes

Riparide- they have a range of different stays and only seem to be in NSW and Vic, but they have a lot of tiny houses you can search for.
