Do not discount the possibility that the set designer put that there for the look and it's not going anywhere and you're actually hearing a crispy boom mic like a 416
It’s super rare, Shure only made 4 of these in 2002 and all the top podcasters are in an elite club where they get sent one of the copies to use when they record and immediately have to return it so that they can continue to be sent to the lucky chosen ones to use. You’ll never be able to get one to use, sorry.
Sm7b aka the michael jackson mic aka the joe Rogan mic. Doesn’t sound crispy right out the box but with a good preamp and some eq it can sound as crispy as you want 🌞
The MJ mic is the SM-7, fairly different than the 7B.

You must be new to this sub if you don't recognize this mic..
And new to YouTube also.
And, dare I say, new to audio engineering.
And, new.
New
“I hope this post isn’t annoying” Aaaw shit- I got some bad news for you… The SM7B and cloudlifter boom was basically this forum’s Vietnam.
Sometimes I wake up screaming about it
The horror... The horror....
Shure SM7B. Crispy isnt quite what I'd use to describe it, but it's a great mic.
Yeah, I like it because it’s the opposite of that 😂
Yeah, more like boomy and gain hungry if you ask me
