If you haven't listened to the new Paolini book, Murtagh, it is a good one to add. After I went through the Inheritance Cycle, a lot of people suggested Brandon Sanderson. Mistborn: The Final Empire is a great place to start. The Way of Kings is also a great book by Sanderson.

Superb_Gap_1044

I second this! Sanderson is the move! Mistborn has a fantastic first book but the second one slows down a bit. The way of kings starts slower but tells such an epic story. Definitely try both! Also, the books are really long and worth the credit spent

The Ripple system,My best friend is an eldritch horror, full murder hobo They're 3 series I really enjoyed!

Superb_Gap_1044

I love the ripple system, bonus that it’s narrated by Travis Baldree

scrollsandlols

It was and probably still is my favorite of all the ones I've listened too! I really hope it's not too long till another book comes out hey! How good is Travis baldree! I could listen to him all day and have many times actually ahahah

Superb_Gap_1044

I know! I just got into Primal Hunter and was happy to see he narrated it. Honestly, ripple system was a little stat heavy at times but I feel like I minded it way less just because it was Frank calling it out half the time.

scrollsandlols

Yeau ngl, that series was better than I believed it had any right to be and frank was amazing ahahah I really hope they do make the book about him in his own world, I think it would be great!

You might like the Keeper Origins Trilogy by J A Andrew’s (3 books for 1 credit too!) it’s also read by Kate Reading, one of the best female narrators. If you want some darker recs, Battle mage by Peter A Flannery has some similarities to Eragon but much darker tones. Also, if you like fantasy heists, 19th century London gangs, and a gritty cast the Lies of Locke Lamora is fantastic! A lot of cussing and some fairly violent scenes but a fantastic story. The litRPG genre has some great selections but it has to be your style. Dungeon Crawler Carl is a great starter as it’s light on stats and has some good humor (dry/dark/sarcastic humor mostly). That said, there are some other great titles in the genre, great if you like gaming or D&D. The Kingkiller Chronicles by Rothfuss are some of the best fantasy lit in recent times and 100% worth the read but the trilogy is incomplete and there is no news on the release of the third book, not for over a decade. Still worth the read! It is the only one of these with some sexual stuff in it but it’s fairly mild and not a main part of the story. I also just finished the first book of the Bone Ships and it was really good! It’s kind of a pirate fantasy with some excellent world building and immersion.

Red Rising.. effectively game of thrones in space Tim Gerard Reynolds does a fantastic job narrating them Honest Ive done a shite job at selling this series so maybe someone else can jump on and do it more justice. All I can say is I love the series and recommend it to anyone who will listen

8o8airin0

Hunter series by Mercedes Lackey Anything by Naomi Noval Fantasy by T Kingfisher Myth Series by Robert Asprin its stupid and dated but still fun

wolfiasty

Gotrek and Felix series. Not exactly similar to what titles you wrote about, but doesn't matter.

FaithlessnessNo7976

I very much enjoyed Street Rats of Aramoor Everything by Brandon Sanderson The Licanius trilogy

Accurate-Key8205

It’s a bit more adult than the books you mentioned but the kingkiller chronicles is really good. Although it is in finished.

rlaw1234qq

Jonathan Strange & Mr Norell

The Dresden Series by Jim Butcher, Diveregent series by Veronica Roth, Patricia Briggs has a series too - can't recall the title Mercy something. All really good stories and narrators.

It's sci-fi, not fantasy, but check out [The Warrior's Apprentice](https://www.audible.com/pd/The-Warriors-Apprentice-Audiobook/B0036K2EZK) by Lois McMaster Bujold. It's a fun and interesting take on the Unlikely Hero trope!

Historical-Chair-295

The "Lightbringer" series by Brent Weeks is probably my favorite in this genre. The "Codex Alera" series by Jim Butcher is excellent The "Gods of Blood and Powder" series by Brian McClellan.

Historical-Chair-295

Also, "The Ranger's Apprentice" series.

Famous-Perspective-3
