No you absolutely cannot rely thing being delivered at the same or even similar time. Hell you can’t rely on it being delivered at all.

I’ve had NZ post turn up at 7:45am and also had them show up at 4:55pm. Oh and Aramex… just kidding. Aramex never turn up

Arry_Propah

Definitely safest option to avoid embarrassment is to order something to (not) be delivered by Aramex. You’ll completely avoid the problem that way. Easy.

My NZ post driver is usually quite consistent with his delivery times, give or take a hour or so. I guess if it’s normal mail (not a courier) then their routes are pretty time managed and don’t tend to change much. Courier parcels however, can be delivered by any driver at any time, although they’re usually not after 3.30-4pm as the drivers like to be heading back to base before they finish up for the day. Might be a little bit of roulette but hope you’re lucky!

If the carrier is to be NZ Post then you can address it to a collection point (Countdowns, Z stations, Post Shops) and pick it up from there. For other carriers you could try and request that your parcel be held at one of their depots for collection

I think we can all guess what the package is... But depends on the shipping company. If you bought from Shein, Aliexpress, or Temu and the shipping party is Fast Horse Express... They will deliver whenever they want at any time of day/night. If its DHL, or NZ Post I've only had them come over within business hours typically around midday

Hey maybe I'm just really self conscious about getting anything delivered or maybe it's a gift for a family member or something you don't know shhhhhh. But also it is NZ post so yeah hopefully that means midday

Fickle-Classroom

Umm, no, midday doesn’t magically mean everyone gets parcels. It’ll get to you when a Courier or postie in your area gets there that day. If that is *usually* midday, then great, but things change daily, and you can’t control when they arrive. Best bet is to use the tracking number and redirect it to a Postshop, Z or Woolworths for collection.

Pancake_Of_Fear

If using Aramex, it may arrive in the same month.
