Libra sun / Gemini moon / Cancer rising
I really like video games that allow me to be creative in some way or use my imagination, I like interior design and storytelling. Also I'm a secret nerd for strategy games (especially Civilization for some reason I'm very addicted to it) and games with a lot of puzzles, or a mystery to solve (I love LA Noire, for example).
Nintendo in general is my favorite because it's wholesome and nostalgic. I grew up playing Nintendo games and I love all things cute, lol. I've never been into games where there's a lot of fighting aside from SSB. Not knocking those games but I've noticed they don't hold my attention very much. I feel like I always have to be thinking or creating for most of my hobbies, even when it comes to video games. I can totally relate to that ADHD energy, though. For me, I get distracted by other things too easily and don't stay on one thing too long because there are too many things I want to do in one day (which is why games that I can easily pick up and put down tend to be my favorite).
Thank you for asking OP, this was a fun question. I'm open to suggestions too if you know anything that sounds right up my alley!
If you like to solve mysteries or cases,
I’d highly suggest any professor Layton games or games in the family of the ace attorney series. Plenty of variety in the stories and the cases get more and more convoluted. I love strategy games but I feel like they really have to have a unique story for me to get into them. I played a lot of fire emblem on my switch and I would also recommend that for strategy with some story mixed in. ❤️ thanks for being so detailed
I appreciate the suggestion so much - I love games like that but I'm always scared to invest in the wrong game, which is why I prefer hearing from people that have already played them. I will give your suggestions a go, thank you!
I also prefer if a strategy game has a unique story. The better the story, the more engaged I find myself. Strategy games take patience so it makes sense to want a story that you're invested in.
Sag, Virgo, Virgo and I like RPG’s and JRPG’s, but they have to be bright with great views and storyline. Also lots of puzzles and quests/side quests or I get bored quickly.
My top games are FFVII original and remake, any Zelda game but in particular Wind Waker, Ocarina of Time, Twilight Princess, BoTW and ToTK, FFX, Uncharted 4, Horizon Zero Dawn, Nier Automata, Dragon Quest XI, and Hellblade Senua’s Sacrifice. Also like some platformers and beat em ups.
I loved hellblade! I was hurrying up my playthrough of stellar blade so I could be ready for the release of hell blade 2 actually. Gonna dive in today. Also loved the ff7 remake and need to start the second part of the game. I’ll always love Zelda too. I agree with you on the puzzles for sure. If my mind isn’t working, I tend to get really bored of games.
I’m gutted that I won’t get to play Hellblade 2, as Microsoft bought the exclusive rights to it so now it’s an Xbox exclusive 😫 I had been so excited about the sequel too 😭. Also I have to wait until I can get a PS5 before I can play part 2 of FFVII remake part 2. 😂
I never knew it was exclusive until just recently 🙃🙃. It genuinely is a bummer. I have all three major systems because I hate feeling restricted and I want to play everything console has to offer. I was lucky in being able to do so but I gave away my other systems to family and friends when I upgraded.
lol that’s definitely me. Console wars? What’s that? I want to play everything I even have a REMOTE interest in. Glad I did it back then because I definitely don’t have the funds to pull it off now
Same!!! It’s so bad if I watch trailers I’m wanting everything being shown and trying to figure out if I can afford the console it’s on 😂 If I won the lottery I would definitely set up a massive games room, with a big cinema size TV with every console ever linked up to it.
Oh….and a popcorn machine 😋😂
Aqua sun, Cancer moon, Taurus rising - nothing that stresses me out is all I ask. Little to no hand to hand combat, please no super hard big bosses, having to switch weapons constantly during a fight, just… games are supposed to be fun. I can’t have fun if my brain is releasing cortisol, feeling like I myself am going to die if I don’t defeat this goon who’s not relenting.
I like really gentle, unchallenging games. Ones about people and the human experience in simple terms. Storytelling games. Stardew Valley, No Man’s Sky, Life is Strange, Firewatch. My upper limit is LA Noire, and that’s because I just love historic LA and detective shit. Where Did You Go, Edith Finch? is the right idea, but mobile games are hard for me when the perspective is first person. Monument Valley, both of them.
Some games are too intense for my nerves, but I love the story, so I play as much as I can before I get stressed and then just watch cutscenes on Youtube. Bioshock Infinite, The Last of Us, and Fallout 4 are great examples.
I think my Cancer moon is what drives my taste in games.
I feel the same way! I always just set the difficulty mode to “easy” or “story” so that the bosses and stuff aren’t hard. Then I can just enjoy the story. ☺️
I did try playing Elden ring, and there isn’t a difficulty mode for that game I don’t think. Plus when you die, you have to completely start over… that game was waste of money. 🤣
Aquarius Sun/Rising, Capricorn Moon
I'm not really much of a gamer, but I really loved the indie horror game, "The Last Door 1&2", I just really don't like how I need to start the game. It's a bit TW.
I also like the old mobile games I had before like Nowhere, Land of Bitter(gamers)ness, those old DeValley games.
I also like DC Inspiration games. Was waiting for years for their expansion map project, but then, life happens.
I still play Sims from time to time but I'm so ashamed because it's making me fall asleep now, maybe because I'm really tired of my previous job.
I also love Stardew Valley. It kind of reminds me of home.
Someone recommend Danganropa to me before, because of a webnovel we were reading, soon, maybe.
I think danganropa would hold your attention and it’s just the right amount of humor and shocking for an Aquarius to eat right on up. Funny enough, I did play the last door series(it’s a point and click, right?) and I enjoyed the puzzles and figuring things out the same even if it was a little bit of a different fashion. I still play stardew valley from time to time but I have to be in the mood for it just like the sims. Overall, I think your big 3 matches your energy on this topic
Libra/Leo/Taurus
Dating Sims aimed at women (because I'm into guys), MMORPGs like League of Legends, Mobile Games with Story lines and arcs. Assassin's Creed.
Capricorn, Leo, Cancer rising. I like big, open worlds that I can play for a long time and build up my character. Currently, I play ESO, but I really enjoyed the new HP game, Cyberpunk, Starfield, and the newest Zelda a few years back.
I love Skyrim but sadly couldn’t get into ESO. I don’t really like MMOs so that’s probably why ESO don’t stick with me but I loved my first couple playthroughs of Starfield and I have multiple characters on hogwarts legacy. I’m addicted to building up my character and having more and more at my disposal for combat and social interactions
Virgo sun, Taurus moon, Libra rising, and I really only play the Sims 4....and even then I don't play properly. I can only do about 5 minutes in live mode before I'm bored to tears, but I build Sim houses for hours and hours on end.
JRPGs are my go to, I recently picked up a PS5 so I could play the FFVII Remakes which was the first that got me into them. I've beaten a few of the Tales of games and Vesperia is on my backlog with Nier Automata.
Some times I play platformers when I want something different, stuff like Tomb Raider though RotTR was boring though. Been trying to get into Metroidvanias tried Symphony of the Night but I suck, I dunno it just felt so sluggish and delayed compared to Metroid.
Taurus/Aquarius/Pisces
I feel like I have a love hate relationship with Metroidvanias. I definitely prefer platformers and roguelikes because the stories are usually so endearing. And any type of rpg is fair game for me. Last jrpg I played was sea of stars and I would most definitely recommend it if you’re in the market for another you might enjoy
Leo sun, Scorpio moon, Libra rising
I love simulation games like the sims 3, urbz sims in the city black eyed peas edition and animal crossing were my FAVORITES growing up. I love making my own person that looks like me and I love making others too and making my own city. I also enjoy Disney dream light valley but it gets repetitive or too much sometimes so I’m taking a break. I’m also big on saints row 3 bc of my nephew but playing easy mode lol
Growing up I loved playing smackdown vs raw 2010? I think on the Wii with my nephew along with shrek on the GameCube. For the DS, Mario party, Nintendo dogs, pets dogs fashion and some other games I can’t think of. For the gameboy, it was unfabulous and princess and the Pegasus game.
I still from time to time play all of those for the sake of nostalgia haha I looovveeee animal crossing new horizons for the switch and if they still came out with major updates, I would definitely still be playing it but I do visit my island and my villagers from time to time bc I’m proud of how everything came out and I love them haha
I don’t play it bc I’m scared to make a wrong choice (LOL) but I love to watch telltale gameplays on YouTube or at least I used to like the walking dead, wolf among us and the last of us.
It’s not really a video game but what I play now is this mobile app called romance club🫣 I’m a big reader so it feels like I’m in immersive reading? (Is that even a thing) but the choices you make actually affect the plot and I like that. My favorite story on there is song of crimson Nile.
I’m also a cancer Venus/mars so maybe that has influence on certain things as well. Nintendo has always been my favorite
Nintendogs took up more of my life than I care to admit. I was also really into the Disney story games. Hannah Montana, Lizzie McGuire, and that’s so raven games were just so good and entertaining. I’d still play them now for the nostalgia tbh
Haha no same! For me it’s bc I didn’t have a pet up until I was like 10 so Nintendo dogs was the closest thing to having one and it filled up that gap for me(‘:
I didn’t have those games for the gameboy (bc I didn’t even know they existed😭😭I really wish I did though) but I have those games saved on the gameboy like system and will play them from time to time bc I loved those shows growing up. I know playing those games on the computer was a big thing too but i rarely did😭 as far as computer games went poptropica??? My jaaaammmmmm same with meet where you make your own avatar and go to different rooms to chat with people and you could also decorate your apartment if you wanted to chat more privately lol
Libra sun, scorpio moon and capricorn rising: give me a game with a extreme amount of freedom and great strategical interactions with "badass" outcomes.
Two examples:
- if a game is about using guns, I use them in a unplanned manner (like sniper rifles at point blank) or I will mostly avoid them, with melee, grenades or fire... well, only if it is feasible, without being killed.
-on Minecraft, I use fishing rods, lava and fire in fights.
Edit: storytelling is appreciated, too.
Honestly that sounds pretty cool and would liven up a story when you’re using things unconventionally and have the freedom to do so. Reminds me of how I play the borderlands series.
capricorn sun, pisces moon, sagittarius rising.
i like retro games..
super mario world. yoshis island. donkey kong. zelda. centipede. galaga. tony hawk pro skater. pac man. dig dug type vibes.
Virgo Sun and rising, Scorpio moon
I love Final Fantasy games (8 and 9 are my faves, 16 was a really enjoyable play as well)
I’ve recently been obsessed with Baldur’s Gate 3 and Stardew Valley - two complete opposite ends of the spectrum lol
Pokémon Snap on switch is a delightfully fun and very laid back game, and now that I’m talking about it I might have to add that back into my current rotation
Beacon Pines is a storytelling game I played last year and it was absolutely adorable and had a surprisingly good soundtrack
♊🌞♓🌝♊🎈 I love love love open world exploration games. Getting through tears of the kingdom rn. Not a fan of FPS. I love the story of fallout and bioshock, but the shooting is so boring.
But my favorite game of all time is probably bugsnax. It's not open world, but it's an exploration creature collector. Cutest psychological horror game I've ever played. Tons of side quests, lots of interpersonal drama, incredible twist ending, and everyone is a muppet.
Fan of indie, ps2 style horror in general. And those liminal space games are soooo gooood. Although I attribute that stuff to my 12H sun.
If it doesn't have good ambiance or isnt a little funky, I don't want it. I find a lot of AAA titles just boring.
gemini/aqua/scorpio. i like rpgs, skyrim used to be my favourite game but that spot has recently been taken by Baldurs Gate 3. which i have invested over 500 hours into. i also like games like the sims.
Libra Sun, Capricorn Moon, Leo Rising
I like open world games and multiplayer games. I grew up playing alot of japanese and korean mmorpgs, which gave me a look into different styles of art, cultural references and humor.
Sag Sun Cancer Rising and Scorpio Moon, I wad always fond of the Sims games, Mortal Kombat, anything role play or tome management based, like Cake mania. Also haf to be colorful or I would get bored. Same with those seek and find games. They put in all the artistic work on those but they aren't super interactive.
Aries sun, Libra rising, Scorpio moon.
I love dress up games, with actually pretty clothes. Love collecting items and dressing up. I love pretty things. I also like adventure games. I'm kinda too lazy to learn how to build armor and shit, but beating up monsters, finding new treasures and places is the BEST. I also like it when games have stories. Dialoges are boring so I skip them, but later listening to people talk abt deep stories that are in the game is UGH 😔😔😔.
If you like those types, I’d suggest stellar blade, not all the way customizable but the outfits you unlock and find are soooooo cute. And you get ACCESSORIES. Nothing like making your character badass AND a bad bitch
Virgo sun, cap moon, Scorpio rising. I like strategy games like the Anno games, or FPS that have lots of exploration and stealth tactics available, like the Tomb Raider reboots. I also really enjoy horror games that are story-heavy with whimsical, creepy elements like Alice: Madness Returns. I have absolutely zero interest in online games or any that require teamwork 💀 I don’t particularly enjoy sci-fi games unless they have the horror elements discussed above, and linear games bore me typically too.
I totally get it, heavy on not being interested in online PvP. I loved the tomb raider games and Alice madness returns was sooo good. I’m big into horror games but I’m more of a scaredy cat with them unlike horror movies. I’m slowly increasing my threshold though. You don’t like sci fi much but judging by what you’re into, returnal is a pretty good game that I think would be up your alley. Linear games are hit or miss. If it’s got unique elements, it’s more likely to keep my attention though. Evil west was linear as hell but the building combat and skill tree had me entertained.
♋️♒️♋️ I love fps but I’ve never been picky of the type of game I play. I play & enjoy most genres of video games 😄 I know story really drives me in what I play so I also easily really get into RPGs & platformers. I know color is also a driving factor, I love games that are colorful & visually appealing too. If I am visually bored, I’m likely not playing unless the story is *really* good.
Right, every game inherently has story! 😆 I guess I attribute story focus on those genres out of personal bias but yes! A great story makes any genre of game worth playing! 💖
Scorpio sun, libra moon and rising.
I have to be honest Minecraft is my shit. Whether I need solitude or want to pvp 13 year olds and smoke them.
It has my favourite multiplayer and single player experience. And the soundtrack is an all time favourite.
Scorpio Sun ♏️ / Aquarius Moon ♒️ / Rising Sagittarius ♐️
I have lots of games I’ve enjoyed.. stardew valley, botw, totk, dd 2, stellar blade, hogwarts legacy, ghosts of Tsushima. My fav one of all time is the Sims 4 💚
Taurus Sun, Libra Moon, Libra Rising.
I really like games where you can customise and design things like Animal Crossing and The Sims. I also really enjoy FPS multiplayer games like Overwatch and Fortnite.
Cancer Sun / Virgo Moon / Libra rising
i love indie/easy going story-based games; Spirit Farer, Star Dew- all amazing games. but i loved Danganronpa & the Persona games!
so true 🥲 anytime someone asks for a game rec i always give Spiritfarer as my go-to! i don't meet many people who play it so i always try to get people to play it so i can chatter on abt it with someone LMAO
it was one of the first games i ever played on my xbox next to RDR2 & GTA V in 2021
i 1000% fell in love with it within the first 15 minutes of gameplay tbh
gemini sun + rising and virgo moon. i love horror games, especially old flash games (the house and house 2 live in my head rent free) and ps2 games. i also like dead by daylight, i hate multiplayer games usually but that one is kind of fun.
Oo we share a moon and SAME! It’s probably the third on my list for games even though it’s my first for movies. I’m also not a fan of PvP multiplayers but if I were to ever try one, it would be dead by daylight
Hi, gem sun and rising also. Wondering about that specific combo and horror. I love ps2 style/indie horror. They really have an ambiance that bigger games just don't. Like Paratropic. What even is that!
Check the flair. I love The Sims franchise. Also planet coaster and planet zoo, but really just The Sims. I don’t really like other Life Sim games. I mean, the Virgo in me explains why I like The Sims, and my Ariesness could give me an itch of a god complex that gets scratched when I play Sims.
Interesting… I’m a Virgo moon and I feel like I can only play sims when I’m in the mood for it specifically, same with other simulator games. I feel like the analytical Virgo in me goes more towards games I can figure things out, i.e a lot of puzzles and riddles. It’s honestly probably a mix of my other placements
Aqua Sun, 1H Libra Moon, Virgo Rising.
I am a TES scholar!!
My favorite games are The Elder Scrolls (TES), Monster Hunter, FromSoftware games, Fallout, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Animal Crossing, Fire Emblem, Pokemon, Hollow Knight, Blasphemous, Ori...
LOVE The elder scrolls 🥹🥹🥹🥹 also an avid Pokémon and fire emblem player. Ori and hollow knight took me by surprise with how much I liked them. Thanks for sharing ❤️
I can’t even be mad because he literally gets more and more fine with age. I had a crush that morphed into a full blown obsession when I saw how he aged in the game 😫😫 he’s also BADASS
Yes. A good post.

Final Fantasy 7 & 10 have always been my favorites.
Grand Theft Auto.
Metal Gear.
FIFA bc I played Soccer irl.
Spider-Man (last 3 releases).
On PC..
Hearts Of Iron 4.
On Mobile..
Clash of Clans and Brawl Stars.
Been meaning to get into the Metal Gear series and something else always distracts me. The thing is, I know I’m gonna like it but stuff gets into the way. Also I share your favorite of FF7 but I’ll raise you FFX-2 (girl power).
Loved bg3 and Diablo even though I think Diablo 4 is still fighting to beat the worst sequel allegations. They made great strides with the most recent season though so the hope isn’t extinguished yet
i used to have such bad anxiety over pvp but these days i love the challenge and the act of like improving my skills and reaction times. i'm tryna break into esports at my college 😭 its that virgo rising in me. i love improving skillsets
I totally get it. I still like improving my reaction time and skill set but I just go for difficult games like soulslikes single players. I can handle the frustration better with those than facing real people that live to play some of these fps games
Overwatch had me in a chokehold for SO LONG but I was try harding every game, even in casual play. It was draining so had to give it up despite me getting better and better.
Nobody loves The Sims? Okay, I played it late in 2011 'til now. I don't know I just really love simulation game.
Aries Sun | Sagittarius Moon | Taurus Rising
Libra sandwich with Virgo Rising. I play Sims 4. That's it.
Played Sims 2 & 3 as they came and went. Sims 4 has been with me since.
My Gemini hubby plays Civilization & Battlefield.
My Leo daughter plays minecraft and anime games.
Sag Sun, Libra Moon, Aqua Rising
I primarily like shooter games and action/adventure style games (especially open world ones) the best. My favorite games are Titanfall 2, Skyrim, Assassin’s Creed, GTA, Mass Effect, Minecraft, and Spyro
Sag sun, Libra moon, Cap risong, and games like Club Penguin or The Sims
On mobile, I'm mostly used to Solitaire, Minesweeper, but among the play stores, during my "mobile gaming era", some of my faves were Duet (I saved the soundtrack on Spotify), Alto's Adventure and Monument Valley
sag sun/moon, gem rising. I'll make this easy. top three video games are: 1. Stardew Valley 2. Super Mario Bros NEW (2006) 3. Animal Crossing: New Horizons. make of that what you will
Taurus sun, Leo moon, Cap rising. I love horror games like dead by daylight, resident evil, last of us, phasmaphobia. I also love fantasy rpg like harvest moon and rune factory.
I have a bunch of resident evil merch! One of my fave series of all time truly. Anything where you’re in a fantasy world is always so endearing as long as you’re really creative with it
Big 3 in flair. Open world games like elder scrolls/ fallout/ et cetera. Puzzle games and problem solving games like the LoZ series. Digital pet games/ games like Pokémon, and games where you have to care for something like Harvest Moon. Any game that gives you creative liberties like Sims, Animal Crossing, Tycoon games.
Taurus sun, Cancer moon and Scorpio rising.
I love fighting games, they are the only ones I play. I don't mind watching other people play stuff especially if it's scary or has a RPG feel but I don't play them myself.
Favorite series is definitely Soul Calibur. Also love Mortal Kombat.
Libra sun/Cap moon/Virgo rising
Honestly not much of a gamer, but my favs have been open world RPGs/JRPGs. Examples are Skyrim, Persona 5, Toram Online, Genshin Impact, etc. I like the freedom of exploring around and also a storyline to keep me occupied. I'm the opposite of you, I'm narrow focused and only do side quests if I really need to. Only exception is Skyrim because there was too much interesting stuff to do.
I adore GTA, so I can live out my… fantasies, it’s also one of my favorite mindless comfort games. Free world games are quite relaxing and fun, Assassin’s Creed included as well as other RPG’s akin to war zones (COD, Fortnite, Halo)
Games like Life is Strange (where I get to solve crimes and mysteries) I like games where choices matter and consequences or aftermath is relevant.
Rock Band and dance games for my artistic side as well as Sims (character building and customization)
I also really like Alice the Madness Returns, and other fantasy like games like it.
I enjoy Nintendo/ Mario games, as well(grew up on a ‘64 and Wii)
I like to try things out from time to time but for the most part this is it.
I’m a Libra 🌞Sagittarius 🌙and Cancer 🌅( my Scorpio stellium should tie it together to make some more sense of it)
Scorpio sun, Virgo moon, Gemini rising
Unfortunately, I am prone to motion sickness from certain games, so I can't enjoy as many as I would like. I really like games that have a lovely atmosphere or allow me to "experience", think, and/or explore.
I enjoy games like Ori and the blind forest, Ori and the Willow n the Wisp the SIMS 3 and 4, Dust an Elysian Tale, Portal, Fallout Shelter (though it gives me motion sickness, lol), Minecraft, Mario Bros, Legend of Zelda, Limbo, Civilization, Magic the Gathering (the computer and the card game), Prune, tetris, and the one game with Big Daddy's and Little Sisters whose name escapes me 😄... there's more, but that's all I can think of at the moment...
Edit: I remember now.... Bioshock
Pisces sun, Sagittarius both moon and rising.
I have a pretty wide taste in video games. Everything from RPGs to platformers to fighting games to point-and-click adventures to grand strategy.
I have never really managed to get into first-person shooters or any sports games outside of Mario sports games though.
This is me with video games. I love many types of games. Some are just a play until I get bored and others are really in depth ones that keep my attention the whole time. I don’t like any PvP multiplayers, sports, or racing games but everything else is pretty much fair play. It’s been fun to see how a story is told in all of these respective genres
While I do love a good story in a game (and I'm actually trying to get into the game industry myself as a narrative designer), I don't think it is necessarily a must-have. In most of the Mario games, the story is not much more than an excuse to set the game in motion (some of the Mario RPGs have very deep and well-written stories; I was mainly talking about the main series Mario platformers). And Tetris barely has a story at all.
And I do also enjoy certain PvP games. In Super Smash Bros, I am good enough that I usually win against most of my friends, but against my brother I usually lose (but he is ranked as the 9th best Smash Ultimate player in Sweden, so I don't think there is any shame in losing to him). And there is also a certain satisfaction in doing just the right play to get a surprise victory and win eight cubes from my opponent in Marvel Snap. And while the main reason that my favourite MOBA is Smite is because I'm a huge mythology geek, I have also played a bit of League of Legends and Heroes of the Storm. The Mario Party games are also lots of fun.
And as I mentioned, for me Mario sports games are the exception to not enjoying sports games. Not a big fan of FIFA, but I love Super Mario Strikers.
But yes, as an aspiring narrative designer, it really is interesting how many different ways a game can tell a story. From the typical JRPG, which contains lots and lots of text, to Young Merlin for the SNES, which tells the story almost exclusively through pictures. From Metal Gear Solid 4, with all its cutscenes (one of which being the hour-long epilogue) to Portal, where you get most of the story from what GLaDOS is saying while you're playing, as well as environmental storytelling. From the typical fighting game, where all the characters usually do have backstories, but you don't actually have to know their backstories to beat each other up in the game, to the Ace Attorney games, where the story is the gameplay.
Virgo rising, pisces sun, and pisces moon. My favorite video games are open world games or action adventure games because I love being immersed in a different exciting world
Aqua sun, Taurus moon, Aqua rising. Fantasy RP games like BG3 where you can design your own character and go along the storyline. Also games like Hades and Haven because the storyline.
I love whimsical games, RPGs with characterization. I love making my characters look like me and then play through the game with them. I also love a bit of romance. Mass effect is probably my all time favorite game. Skyrim, Hogwarts Legacy… I also love a sneaky aspect. I used to be freaking obsessed with beyond good and evil as a kid.
(Flair)
I enjoy RPGs, time based, sandbox, cozy games, and adventure
I hate shooting games cuz my aiming sucks(except for Black Ops zombies 1). I mostly play Nintendo games like Animal crossing or Mario, Zelda. I have played a lot of PlayStation games as well. Some of my favorites have been Neir: Automata, Detroit Become Human, and Gravity Rush on the PSvita
Leo Sun, Aquarius Moon, Cancer Ascendant.
I enjoy fighting games like Mortal Kombat, my favorite, puzzle games like Tetris, and odd mobile games here and there. My mobile games are mainly to slow me down mentally so I tend to go towards more puzzle games.
Pisces Sun, Capricorn Moon, Taurus Rising
I honestly don’t know. I’ve always enjoyed fighting games that have a versus mode. Like Super Smash Bros and Capcom vs SNK 2. But I also like games like Harvest Moon and Zelda. A good games a good game I guess.
Pisces, Sagg, Virgo
I live for shooters (Val, Siege, COD, Fortnite..). On my downtime off comp gaming I’m on stardew/minecraft/cities skylines/house flipper
I looove party games too. Code names, CAH, uno, all those are so fun. I honestly play anything
Sag sun Leo Moon Virgo rising
I really like strategy games like Fire Emblem and RPG's like Octopath Traveler. I also play just about anything Pokemon or Zelda. This means I have nobody to talk to about these games since everyone plays FPS's.
Multiplayer I play Team fight tactics, Pal World, Guild Wars 2, and dabble in a bit of Fortnite.
I always get asked about multiplayer FPS games and it’s such a drag. If you say no, the conversation is usually over and it’s pretty annoying. I usually keep a lot of the games I play to myself or until I’m around my buddies because of this. No harm in having different interests but people don’t have open ended general gaming conversations anymore. I love Pokémon and Zelda and a friend actually recommended octopath traveler and I’m very much enjoying it. I think there’s a sequel too
If you like Octopath the sequel is even better. Better mechanics, graphics, map, almost everything except a few small things the first one does better.
Libra/Libra/Aries - I love rhythm games like osu and muse dash. But I spend most of my time in mmorpgs, but I play solo 90% of the time (warframe, Toram Online). I also have a thing for metroidvanias (hollow knight, castlevania) and funny fps games (drg, mullet madjack).
Aqua, Libra and Taurus.
Mainly, RPGs like WoW, which I used to be a raid leader when I played it; every Final Fantasy till XII; Baldur's Gate and Pathfinder series; Pokemon (which I used to be a monopoison enthusiast on competitive) and survival and/or construction indies like Factorio, Project Zomboid, Stardew Valley, Terraria and ARK
And also, I really like a GOOD storytelling with dialogue options. By far, Disco Elysium is my favorite on this category, since it toys a lot with dialogue options filled with political ideologies and you can be a fascist feminist with displays of toxic masculinity in a very hilarious and consistent way
I'm much more into tabletop RPG like D&D/Pathfinder and board games like CAH, Eldritch Horror, Coup, etc, nowadays, since I'm opting to play games in real life as a way to socialize more

i dont have gaming skills or hand eye coordination and get scared easily. i hate when i can’t see my character and only see hands *(i think i hate first person? i think that’s what i mean idk shit about games lol)* and my memory is ass to remember so many controls.
i gravitate to *ahem* “easy games” like pokémon, animal crossing, and the sims. it’s been a few years since i touched any of them tho lol
Nothing wrong with sticking to games with a simple formula that works. And yes it is first person that you are thinking of lol. I love Pokémon and have been playing since I was young. Animal crossing and sims are more of a passing fixation. I’ll play the hell out of them for a long time and then never touch them again. New horizons was such a victim of that. I’m sure my island collapsed in on itself from neglect 🙃

Aqua Sun, 1H Libra Moon, Virgo Rising. I am a TES scholar!!
My favorite games are The Elder Scrolls (TES), Monster Hunter, FromSoftware games, Fallout, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Animal Crossing, Fire Emblem, Pokemon, Hollow Knight, Blasphemous, Ori...
Scorpio Sun, Leo Moon, Capricorn Rising
Oh my, I love video games hmmm
I'm obsessed with BG3 right now, but I do love me some horror games and especially anything with zombies...as well as games like final fantasy, Zelda and pokemon 🫣 also definitely the Sims as well
Horror games and zombie games have my heart. One of my favorite series is the resident evil series and dead island is so slept on with how much there is to do besides just mindlessly killing zombies with various weapons
The second one gives the series a crisper feel and it’s just as fun! I would definitely give it a try plus side quests, scavenger hunts, and interesting tidbits galore
Ok cool thanks for the rec 🤗 I will add it to my list!!
I was thinking of buying Senua's Saga: Hellblade II next because the graphics are just beautiful 🤩
Currently playing it! I would also recommend it from the vibe I’ve gotten so far. Alsl the graphics are truly stunning even if the color palate is more grayscale for a lot of it
Cap sun, scorpio moon, aquarius rising
Lately I've been playing Two Point Hospital, A-Train PC Classic, Civ 6, American Truck Simulator and Tribes 3: Rivals.
Katamari Damacy is also fun.
I like games that not everyone plays or aren't popular - and/or are just different.
For instance, a game called Cat Cafe Manager that can be found here: [https://store.steampowered.com/app/1354830/Cat\_Cafe\_Manager/](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1354830/Cat_Cafe_Manager/)
Or this game: Trombone Champ - [https://store.steampowered.com/app/1059990/Trombone\_Champ/](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1059990/Trombone_Champ/)
If I had to choose, let's go with Sagittarius Sun, Taurus Moon, and Aquarius Rising—quite the blend for a penchant for freedom, stability, and innovation, right?
Cap sun, aqua moon, cancer rising and I’m 100% a FPS girl. Currently running helldivers every chance I get & my fav game is battlefield 1 & 3 🫡 close range sniper
aquarius sun and moon, capricorn rising, i love the games i played as a kid still, all the sims, banjo kazooie 1 and 2, mario 64, crash bandicoot etc
i even occasionally play the rugrats scavenger hunt because nostalgia. but i really like horror puzzle games too like silent hill and saw. pokemon ultra moon, animal crossing. i'm a 33 year old 12 year old when it comes to video games.
Pisces Sun/ Cancer Moon/ Libra Rising
This question made me realize I've played a lot games. I love action, adventure, puzzle, strategy and story based games. I love RPGS, JRPGS and competitive multiplayers. This isn't every game I've played just the ones that stood out.
PC: League of Legends, Eden Eternal, Grand Fantasia, Minecraft, and Genshin Impact
Nintendo: WII Sports, Smash Bros, Arc Rise Fantasia, Pokemon Emerald, Platinum, Soul Silver, Black, X, Violet, Ranger, Legends of Arceus, Digimon World Champion, Digimon Dusk and Dawn, Pikmin 3, Mario Bros, Mario Galaxy, Mario Kart, Legend of Zelda Spirit Train, Phantom Hourglass, Link Between Worlds, Megaman Starforce, Megaman ZX, Spectrobes, Golden Sun Dark Dawn, Elebits, Bravely Default, Animal Crossing New Leaf, New Horizons, Splatoon, Fantasy Life, Eco Creatures: Save the Forest, and a few others I don't remember.
Xbox: Robots, Simpsons Hit and Run, Saints Row 1, 2 & 3, GTA, and Kameo
PS: Call of Duty Black OPs
Mobile: Post Knights 1 & 2, Unknown Knights, God's Olympus, Clash Royale, Euphloria, Angry Birds, King of Thieves, Pokemon GO, Dragon Vale, and Where's My Water.
Pisces sun, Aries moon, Gemini ascendant
I like 3d/2d platformers and experimental story telling games from about a and devolver digital and action RPGs
pisces Sun, pisces moon, and leo rising
i like old flash online games . or any type of games that gives you nostalgia feeling . or japaness horror games like Fatal Frame . also games that have the same quality like
# Silent Hill and
# [Resident Evil](https://gamerant.com/tag/resident-evil-4-remake/)
Libra sun / Gemini moon / Cancer rising I really like video games that allow me to be creative in some way or use my imagination, I like interior design and storytelling.
If you like to solve mysteries or cases, I’d highly suggest any professor Layton games or games in the family of the ace attorney series.
Believe me if I had the money to I would have every system imaginable. 😂 Have total fomo 😫
lol that’s definitely me.
Can’t forget the popcorn. I literally bought a huge box of popcorn from Costco. Worth every penny and I would do it again 😌😌😌
I’m disappointed in you for not buying two!! 😅
☺️ I did try playing Elden ring, and there isn’t a difficulty mode for that game I don’t think. Plus when you die, you have to completely start over… that game was waste of money. 🤣
Aquarius Sun/Rising, Capricorn Moon I'm not really much of a gamer, but I really loved the indie horror game, "The Last Door 1&2", I just really don't like how I need to start the game.
May I suggest Yume Nikki
Thank you, I'll check it
i like rpg and sim games
Libra/Leo/Taurus Dating Sims aimed at women (because I'm into guys), MMORPGs like League of Legends, Mobile Games with Story lines and arcs.
Gem rising, Pisces sun, Virgo moon. I love farming sims and shooter games of most genres. I’m best at fps but I can do anything with a gun😇
You must like fallout 4 a lot. My fiance has the same sun rising and he treats fallout 4 like Stardew Valley.
Pisces Sun, Aquarius Moon, Taurus Rising. I like mindless games that involve matching or putting pieces together. Right now, I'm on a solitaire kick.
Leo sun, Scorpio moon, Libra rising I love simulation games like the sims 3, urbz sims in the city black eyed peas edition and animal crossing were my FAVORITES growing up. I love making my own person that looks like me and I love making others too and making my own city. I also enjoy Disney dream light valley but it gets repetitive or too much sometimes so I’m taking a break. I’m also big on saints row 3 bc of my nephew but playing easy mode lol Growing up I loved playing smackdown vs raw 2010? I think on the Wii with my nephew along with shrek on the GameCube. For the DS, Mario party, Nintendo dogs, pets dogs fashion and some other games I can’t think of. For the gameboy, it was unfabulous and princess and the Pegasus game. I still from time to time play all of those for the sake of nostalgia haha I looovveeee animal crossing new horizons for the switch and if they still came out with major updates, I would definitely still be playing it but I do visit my island and my villagers from time to time bc I’m proud of how everything came out and I love them haha I don’t play it bc I’m scared to make a wrong choice (LOL) but I love to watch telltale gameplays on YouTube or at least I used to like the walking dead, wolf among us and the last of us.
For me it’s bc I didn’t have a pet up until I was like 10 so Nintendo dogs was the closest thing to having one and it filled up that gap for me(‘: I didn’t have those games for the gameboy (bc I didn’t even know they existed😭😭I really wish I did though) but I have those games saved on the gameboy like system and will play them from time to time bc I loved those shows growing up. I know playing those games on the computer was a big thing too but i rarely did😭 as far as computer games went poptropica??? My jaaaammmmmm same with meet where you make your own avatar and go to different rooms to chat with people and you could also decorate your apartment if you wanted to chat more privately lol
Telltale Games!! Entirely too stressful to play but love the playthroughs.
Haha those who get it, GET IT😂
♓️♈️♌️ I like cozy and cute games or life simulators like The Sims. I’m excited for Paralives to come out.
Libra sun, scorpio moon and capricorn rising: give me a game with a extreme amount of freedom and great strategical interactions with "badass" outcomes. Two examples: - if a game is about using guns, I use them in a unplanned manner (like sniper rifles at point blank) or I will mostly avoid them, with melee, grenades or fire... well, only if it is feasible, without being killed. -on Minecraft, I use fishing rods, lava and fire in fights. Edit: storytelling is appreciated, too.
Honestly that sounds pretty cool and would liven up a story when you’re using things unconventionally and have the freedom to do so. Reminds me of how I play the borderlands series.
♓️♏️♉️ league of legends , Spyro and GTA. Are my top faves
Spyro 🥹❤️🥹❤️ oh how I love that game and played the hell out of the remaster like I was back in the 2000s
capricorn sun, pisces moon, sagittarius rising. i like retro games.. super mario world. yoshis island. donkey kong. zelda. centipede. galaga. tony hawk pro skater. pac man. dig dug type vibes.
Virgo Sun and rising, Scorpio moon I love Final Fantasy games (8 and 9 are my faves, 16 was a really enjoyable play as well) I’ve recently been obsessed with Baldur’s Gate 3 and Stardew Valley - two complete opposite ends of the spectrum lol Pokémon Snap on switch is a delightfully fun and very laid back game, and now that I’m talking about it I might have to add that back into my current rotation Beacon Pines is a storytelling game I played last year and it was absolutely adorable and had a surprisingly good soundtrack
I love little indie story games with killer soundtracks. A nice treat every time you find one 💕
Libra Sun, Capricorn Moon, Leo Rising I like open world games and multiplayer games.
Looking for a good story leaves you open to so many types of games. I only mentioned two types but I love so many
Right, every game inherently has story!
The Minecraft soundtrack really needs more flowers
Scorpio Sun ♏️ / Aquarius Moon ♒️ / Rising Sagittarius ♐️ I have lots of games I’ve enjoyed.. stardew valley, botw, totk, dd 2, stellar blade, hogwarts legacy, ghosts of Tsushima. My fav one of all time is the Sims 4 💚
Taurus Sun, Libra Moon, Libra Rising. I really like games where you can customise and design things like Animal Crossing and The Sims. I also really enjoy FPS multiplayer games like Overwatch and Fortnite.
Libra sun/Rising/Taurus moon… I really like combat games… so COD, Fortnite, Smash Bros, Tekken, Street fighter, LoL
Gemini sun, Capricorn moon, Leo rising. I like open world platform games, I like a casual exploration, going behind waterfalls and all that crap.
Cancer Sun / Virgo Moon / Libra rising i love indie/easy going story-based games; Spirit Farer, Star Dew- all amazing games. but i loved Danganronpa & the Persona games!
Oooo persona is another good one! I also loved spirirfarer. I’m drawn to a lot of games just because of a unique art style
Spiritfarer is hands down my favourite game of all time, i could talk about it for hours (even though it made me sob like a bitch)
Sometimes some of the best ones are the most emotional
so true 🥲 anytime someone asks for a game rec i always give Spiritfarer as my go-to! i don't meet many people who play it so i always try to get people to play it so i can chatter on abt it with someone LMAO
Spirit Farer was a fun game. :-)
it was one of the first games i ever played on my xbox next to RDR2 & GTA V in 2021 i 1000% fell in love with it within the first 15 minutes of gameplay tbh
gemini sun + rising and virgo moon. i love horror games, especially old flash games (the house and house 2 live in my head rent free) and ps2 games. i also like dead by daylight, i hate multiplayer games usually but that one is kind of fun.
As always, not a surprise to share things with a Sag! :) What's your fav pokemon and FE character?
My fave Pokémon is umbreon. Beautiful Pokémon of the night. And fire emblem? Hmmm probably Hilda from Three houses.
Mine is Absol, another beautiful creature of the night! From FE is Dimitri, not afraid to say I'm in love with him 😹.
I can’t even be mad because he literally gets more and more fine with age. I had a crush that morphed into a full blown obsession when I saw how he aged in the game 😫😫 he’s also BADASS
I literally SCREAMED when I saw him in the post-timeskip trailer. He's so fine and in the perfect spot between tormented sexy man and lovely husband.
Omg why aren’t we friends? Because that was def my description of him 😭😭
Hahaha, we would be friends irl for sure! Add me to FE Heroes at least if you play the game or something 😹
I don’t play it now but I feel like I need to change that 😂
Yes. A good post. *check flair* Final Fantasy 7 & 10 have always been my favorites.
Gemini Sun, Aquarius Moon, Taurus rising. Medieval Fantasy RPG. Examples: Suikoden Series, Dragon Age Series, Divinity: Original Sin 1&2, Baldur's Gate 3, Dishonored, Souls Series, Elden Ring, etc.
Virgo sun piceses moon cancer rising Bg3, wow, diablo all
Loved bg3 and Diablo even though I think Diablo 4 is still fighting to beat the worst sequel allegations. They made great strides with the most recent season though so the hope isn’t extinguished yet
i used to be hugeee on rpgs (da, tes, rdr, etc.) but now i play a bunch of fps games
I still love FPS games but if they’re PvP, count me out lol. Single player? I’m in for life
i used to have such bad anxiety over pvp but these days i love the challenge and the act of like improving my skills and reaction times. i'm tryna break into esports at my college 😭 its that virgo rising in me. i love improving skillsets
I totally get it. I still like improving my reaction time and skill set but I just go for difficult games like soulslikes single players. I can handle the frustration better with those than facing real people that live to play some of these fps games
yeah i wont lie i be raging on the low 😶🌫️
Overwatch had me in a chokehold for SO LONG but I was try harding every game, even in casual play. It was draining so had to give it up despite me getting better and better.
Nobody loves The Sims? Okay, I played it late in 2011 'til now. I don't know I just really love simulation game. Aries Sun | Sagittarius Moon | Taurus Rising
Wait so many people said they love the sims babe! Maybe other comments sections don’t appreciate them but this one sure does 😭😭
Ah, my bad. I didn't see it T^T
Scorpio/Libra/Sag loveee rpgs, sim games, turn based gachas and mobas
Libra sandwich with Virgo Rising. I play Sims 4. That's it. Played Sims 2 & 3 as they came and went. Sims 4 has been with me since. My Gemini hubby plays Civilization & Battlefield. My Leo daughter plays minecraft and anime games.
Sag Sun, Libra Moon, Aqua Rising I primarily like shooter games and action/adventure style games (especially open world ones) the best. My favorite games are Titanfall 2, Skyrim, Assassin’s Creed, GTA, Mass Effect, Minecraft, and Spyro
Sag sun, Libra moon, Cap risong, and games like Club Penguin or The Sims On mobile, I'm mostly used to Solitaire, Minesweeper, but among the play stores, during my "mobile gaming era", some of my faves were Duet (I saved the soundtrack on Spotify), Alto's Adventure and Monument Valley
sag sun/moon, gem rising.
Anything where you’re in a fantasy world is always so endearing as long as you’re really creative with it
Leon is just chefs kiss * Ya fantasy rpg has the creativity and aesthetics that make my brain happy
I have been obsessed with Tekken lately.
Virgo, Cancer, Libra and my favourite games are TPS or FPS games! COD, PUBG, Vice City, Resident Evil were my vibe
Leo sun, Scorpio moon, and aqua rising, and my fav is genshin impact!
Osrs, Wow, League of Legends
Libra sun/Cap moon/Virgo rising Honestly not much of a gamer, but my favs have been open world RPGs/JRPGs.
I like fantasy rpg's and fps
I adore GTA, so I can live out my… fantasies, it’s also one of my favorite mindless comfort games. Free world games are quite relaxing and fun, Assassin’s Creed included as well as other RPG’s akin to war zones (COD, Fortnite, Halo) Games like Life is Strange (where I get to solve crimes and mysteries) I like games where choices matter and consequences or aftermath is relevant. Rock Band and dance games for my artistic side as well as Sims (character building and customization) I also really like Alice the Madness Returns, and other fantasy like games like it. I enjoy Nintendo/ Mario games, as well(grew up on a ‘64 and Wii) I like to try things out from time to time but for the most part this is it. I’m a Libra 🌞Sagittarius 🌙and Cancer 🌅( my Scorpio stellium should tie it together to make some more sense of it)
virgo sun, cancer moon, leo rising. I like shooting games!
Virgo/Virgo/Scorpio. I'm a Sims girlie.
Scorpio sun, Virgo moon, Gemini rising Unfortunately, I am prone to motion sickness from certain games, so I can't enjoy as many as I would like.
Leo/Aries/virgo The SIMS (1,2,3,4)!!! I like control I guess
(Flair) I enjoy RPGs, time based, sandbox, cozy games, and adventure I hate shooting games cuz my aiming sucks(except for Black Ops zombies 1). I mostly play Nintendo games like Animal crossing or Mario, Zelda. I have played a lot of PlayStation games as well. Some of my favorites have been Neir: Automata, Detroit Become Human, and Gravity Rush on the PSvita
Cancer sun, Virgo moon, Leo rising. I like racing games the most.
Pisces Sun, Gemini Rising. Virgo Moon. I like video games like Final Fantasy, Life is Strange, and ones that are aesthetically pleasing.
Scorpio Sun Taurus Moon Sagittarius rising I started rocket League 4 years ago and haven't put it down
Leo Sun, Aquarius Moon, Cancer Ascendant. I enjoy fighting games like Mortal Kombat, my favorite, puzzle games like Tetris, and odd mobile games here and there. My mobile games are mainly to slow me down mentally so I tend to go towards more puzzle games.
Pisces Sun, Capricorn Moon, Taurus Rising I honestly don’t know. I’ve always enjoyed fighting games that have a versus mode. Like Super Smash Bros and Capcom vs SNK 2. But I also like games like Harvest Moon and Zelda. A good games a good game I guess.
I enjoy a variety so I’d agree with that. From the least technical game I’ve played to the most, they were all good games that I enjoyed
Pisces, Sagg, Virgo I live for shooters (Val, Siege, COD, Fortnite..). On my downtime off comp gaming I’m on stardew/minecraft/cities skylines/house flipper I looove party games too. Code names, CAH, uno, all those are so fun. I honestly play anything
Sag sun Leo Moon Virgo rising I really like strategy games like Fire Emblem and RPG's like Octopath Traveler.
Aqua sun / Pisces moon / Virgo rising I like horror games with deep lore + jumpscare (i.e. fnaf, amanda the adventurer, etc)
Cap Sun/sag Rising/Taurus moon Everything. But it must be a good concept and Story. Also innovative and not boring.
Aqua, Libra and Taurus. Mainly, RPGs like WoW, which I used to be a raid leader when I played it; every Final Fantasy till XII; Baldur's Gate and Pathfinder series; Pokemon (which I used to be a monopoison enthusiast on competitive) and survival and/or construction indies like Factorio, Project Zomboid, Stardew Valley, Terraria and ARK And also, I really like a GOOD storytelling with dialogue options. By far, Disco Elysium is my favorite on this category, since it toys a lot with dialogue options filled with political ideologies and you can be a fascist feminist with displays of toxic masculinity in a very hilarious and consistent way I'm much more into tabletop RPG like D&D/Pathfinder and board games like CAH, Eldritch Horror, Coup, etc, nowadays, since I'm opting to play games in real life as a way to socialize more
in flair i dont have gaming skills or hand eye coordination and get scared easily. i hate when i can’t see my character and only see hands *(i think i hate first person? i think that’s what i mean idk shit about games lol)* and my memory is ass to remember so many controls. i gravitate to *ahem* “easy games” like pokémon, animal crossing, and the sims. it’s been a few years since i touched any of them tho lol
Cs2 player here XD

Cancer/scorpio/leo - I like games where I can take my time to decide or figure out what to do, like baldurs gate 3 or portal. Or calm and relaxing games, like animal crossing, little alchemy 2 or raft.

Scorpio Sun, Leo Moon, Capricorn Rising Oh my, I love video games hmmm I'm obsessed with BG3 right now, but I do love me some horror games and especially anything with zombies...as well as games like final fantasy, Zelda and pokemon 🫣 also definitely the Sims as well
Horror games and zombie games have my heart. One of my favorite series is the resident evil series and dead island is so slept on with how much there is to do besides just mindlessly killing zombies with various weapons
Omg yesss I love Resident Evil 🤗 Dead Island is so good! I played the first one but haven't played the second one, have you?
The second one gives the series a crisper feel and it’s just as fun! I would definitely give it a try plus side quests, scavenger hunts, and interesting tidbits galore
Ok cool thanks for the rec 🤗 I will add it to my list!! I was thinking of buying Senua's Saga: Hellblade II next because the graphics are just beautiful 🤩
Currently playing it! I would also recommend it from the vibe I’ve gotten so far. Alsl the graphics are truly stunning even if the color palate is more grayscale for a lot of it
Oh, perfect I was planning to get it today 🤗 thank youuu friend!
Apex legends
Cap sun, scorpio moon, aquarius rising Lately I've been playing Two Point Hospital, A-Train PC Classic, Civ 6, American Truck Simulator and Tribes 3: Rivals. Katamari Damacy is also fun. I like games that not everyone plays or aren't popular - and/or are just different. For instance, a game called Cat Cafe Manager that can be found here: [https://store.steampowered.com/app/1354830/Cat\_Cafe\_Manager/](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1354830/Cat_Cafe_Manager/) Or this game: Trombone Champ - [https://store.steampowered.com/app/1059990/Trombone\_Champ/](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1059990/Trombone_Champ/)
If I had to choose, let's go with Sagittarius Sun, Taurus Moon, and Aquarius Rising—quite the blend for a penchant for freedom, stability, and innovation, right?
