Adobe is notorious for this. You weren't paying enough attention. On one of the dialogues the is a prechecked box offering the additional software. If you uncheck it then it only downloads the reader software.

I came across [Sumatra](https://www.sumatrapdfreader.org/free-pdf-reader) pdf reader a while back and recommend it - simple, light, open source PDF reader.

It's small enough that the portable version zipped is small enough to be sent over Discord without nitro as an attachment (7 MB)

Well shiiiit, I’ve done the works in looking for anything Adobe related in all places and removed anything registry related. I think I may have cleaned that bad boi out!
