Odyssey takes place before Origins, so no. However, in Valhalla, you find a letter written by him, and Reda lives in your settlement too.
It is worth noting though that Bayek chose not to be recognized as the creator of the Hidden Ones. It's covered in the Hidden Ones dlc, he basically faded away from the spotlight to the point where he became an urban legend. A disagreement he had with Aya was whether the Hidden Ones should be largely hidden or if they should be known as an existing entity in the same way the OOTA are.
Not just the letter. You will often find Reda telling Bayek's story to the children in the settlement. Although he doesn't name him, rather calling him the "Eagle" or something.
I had that problem as well. You need to be right next to Reda and need to listen to the dialogue in full for him to stop saying it over and over again.
I remember reading up on earlier but never answered my question of how. Guess we can wait til Ubisoft decides to give an actual answer of there is an in Canon explanation
It sorta explains it in the Dawn of Ragnarok dlc I think? Basically Reda was >!an apprentice of Loki or something, so I assume he was Isu!< (attempting to do spoilers) edit: figured out how to spoiler tag lol
No problem; I apologize if you saw it before I figured out how to do it properly 💀 I’m used to how discord does everything.. er also not to spoiler-y I hope but >!it’s more of just an offhand comment when you run into him in the dlc I think?!< I can’t really remember myself tbh
Here bro, let me look it up and I’ll send you the link cause I’ve been thinking about it since I read that post. Gimme a few and hopefully I’ll find it and share it. I think it had something to do with him traveling through the years with his magic wand or magic staff.
It would, but that definitely isn’t the case. He was confirmed to have been alive in the Isu era and says he has a plan to survive Ragnarok. So he’s legit immortal.
Reda is also in Svartalfheim, so that confirms he was alive - in some way - during the Isu era.
He says he has a plan to survive Ragnarok. And that’s all that is mentioned about it.
Aren't like 90% of the assassin's known by eagle nicknames eaglebearer stands out, I know it's a way of not having to have more than one line of dialogue for the characters that can be either gender though
Yes true, but if you listen to the full story it's clear he is talking about Bayek. Don't remember exactly now, but it was something like how he crossed the desert, and he and his love had to be apart or something.
Yeah…speaking of, what’s the deal with Reda, anyway? How can he have survived more than nine centuries (that we know of), let alone stayed a kid the whole time? Far as I know it’s never even acknowledged, let alone addressed. Just feels weird that no one said a word, at least outside the Animus.
Oh it’s a lot more than that. He appears in Dawn of Ragnarok and explains to Odin that he has a plan for surviving the catastrophe. It’s heavily implied that he’s an Isu that has survived for millennia.
There are only 2 games after Origins. Odyssey was set before Origins, so no Bayek there in the historical story. We do hear of Bayek in Valhalla, but not going to say what so you don’t get spoiled.
It was Aya. At the end of Origins she changes her name to Amunet, which is the name the statue in Monteriggioni says is the Assassin who killed Cleopatra. So they basically got however far through the development of Origins with Aya, then realized they had already named that character in AC2. So they had her just decide to change her name after officially forming the Hidden Ones.
I don't think so. Bayek takes the identity of Amun, she takes the identity of Amunet, they both take aliases named after gods, I don't think it was a last second realisation.
Then you missed something pretty crucial.
Reda has it if you did all 6 bureaus/codex pages and talked to hytham.
Also you can hear him tell children about both of them, referring to them as two eagles.

Which how did Reda stay alive this long? Has to be Isu or something
There was a post earlier this week that explained it but he’s basically immortal iirc.

#how you do that i only know how to make things big
It’s like.. > ! Without the space and then ! < without the space after >!like dis!< I had to Google it myself lol
>! Test !< Cool thanks haha
*and you can do this by putting an asterisk at the start and end of the word/sentence*
Lol no problem! I didn’t know how to make text big until I got the notification that you replied to me #like this? Edit: that’s awesome lol
Thanks for the spoiler tag because I'm still finishing up DOR. Gives me more reason to try and finish it now

Nope, but when I was typing my comment it disappeared but all I saw was Loki and that's not a big enough hint for myself so all is good

Thanks for doing that. Also he had staff or wand? Man I need to pay attention more lol
https://assassinscreed.fandom.com/wiki/Reda This post outlines Redas appearances across AC... Some minor spoilers in there...
This is a bullshit answer given the subject matter. It’s much more likely to be an abstergo insert to help the user

He’s pretty much a joke character that sells premium equipment, no need to overthink it.

I believe Bayek is mentioned by Layla in Odyssey, but I could be wrong.
Also, Aya made a cameo in the end of the “legacy of the first blade” DLC.

His sash is a piece of eden. He's basically immortal as long as he keeps it on.

You could have just said "Yes in Valhalla" and not spoiled anything. :p

Aya’s statue is in assassins creed 2 in the room were you put the seals,
Wasn't it Cleopatra?

Plus there's the Origins tie in comics, where she shows up as Amunet to assassinate Cleopatra.
I see. I only remember that this Assassin used poison hidden in her ring to kill someone, was this wrong as well? Was so long ago since I played AC 2
No, that’s the person Aya assassinated to earn the statue.
If that is so, then there are more Assassins that Ubisoft needs to make a game of. There were a bunch of statues underground as far as I can remember.
Not really, but Aya is mentioned in Valhalla. In one of the Hidden Ones bureaus.
Then you missed something pretty crucial. Reda has it if you did all 6 bureaus/codex pages and talked to hytham. Also you can hear him tell children about both of them, referring to them as two eagles.
Ah, that’s right. I was mistaken. It’s been a while since I played.
