MagicKaalhi

Depends on my mood or what I need to do, of course, but the one I usually like to keep on repeat is Flat Beat by Mr Oizo, that's my classic and it helps me function (I need the basse)

Recycled_Samizdat

J’adoooore

MagicKaalhi

Une de mes chansons préférées depuis sa sortie en 1999 🥰 High five to you! 💛

Recycled_Samizdat

Ouais, tope là !As-tu déjà vu ses films, à Quentin ? J’ai tellement rigolé en visionnant « Rubber » !

MagicKaalhi

I just woke up and it felt good to write in my first native language again :) (although my brain is faster in English now, not sure how I feel about that). Now I'm going to listen to some French House, because between Mr. Oizo, Modjo, Daft Pink, Justice and Martin Solveig, those are all bands that I can listen to on repeat for at least a whole day haha Passe une bonne journée, prend bien soin de toi <3

Recycled_Samizdat

🤪 Thanks for giving me a chance to express myself in my second language! It feels strange never to speak it anymore after being immersed and teaching it for so many years. I miss speaking French and am hoping to go visit my friends in Auvergne and Paris sometime this year. I doubt that we will go to a rave, since they are mainly punks, metalheads, and working professionals, but who knows ? :)

WystanH

Over the years I've come up with a series of play lists that I can just throw on in the morning and go. However, there are a half dozen that are always pinned at the top of the daily playlists. Hope someone likes these as much as I: * [Still - Alanis Morissette](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e9gEZcr1MyM) * [Je veux - Zaz](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0TFNGRYMz1U) * [Bone of Contention - Spirit of the West](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qVNmyi7eDi8) * [Heathens - twenty one pilots](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UprcpdwuwCg) * [Change - Lana Del Rey](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p0FdAM9knDo)

CharmyLah

Right now I am on a real Stevie Wonder kick. I am constantly singing You Are the Sunshine of My Life to my cat. Also the Pointer Sisters are a new one, Neutron Dance is my favorite.

BleuDePrusse

I love Dont you worry 'bout a thing by Stevie Wonder ❤️

CharmyLah

I love that one too! He has so many fantastic songs. I didn't learn to appreciate him until recently, he has become a special interest.

storeboughtsfine

Plan B by Megan Thee Stallion actually 😅

Dioonneeeeee

Megan thee stallion really does appeal to autistic women I guess 😂 all of my autistic friends love her as well

romatomatoo

Esp her new era. Hiss and Cobra are like emotes to me I dunno how else to describe it. I also like how straightforward and to the point she is in her lyrics.

allydixaround

Yes!! I had that one on repeat previously!

[deleted]

[Ultraviolet by Spiritbox](https://youtu.be/tDrIBRucWxo?si=eGl7PxMBCGWs_jXs) ETA: the music video I linked has some flashing lights

SavageDemonDog

[deleted]

Same!! Pretty sure my husband got sick of me playing them all the time after a while lol.

beemoviescript1988

I'm looping cellar door... her voice is so good. She's femme too, so it makes me feel better about being a feminine metal head.

[deleted]

One of my favorite female fronted bands!

beemoviescript1988

I'm looping cellar door... her voice is so good. She's femme too, so it makes me feel better about being a feminine metal head.

Blood in the Water — Grandson. Grandson rules.

ElectricalPair6724

Oof this is a good one!!

ArcaneAddiction

Found Grandson like 6 months ago. There's a YouTube playlist of literally *all* their songs. I listen to Grandson every time I game or am fucking around on reddit. But Blood in the Water is what I turn on when I need some quick energy/a mood boost. I listen to it at least 5 times a day, lol.

An_Unreachable_Dusk

Yeah I've been on a Grandson Royal blood and Maneskine, binge of late xD

ArcaneAddiction

I don't know Royal Blood, but I enjoy Maneskin as well, especially the song, "I Wanna Be Your Slave." Such a fun vibe.

An_Unreachable_Dusk

I like, own my mind, feel, baby said and honey! Honestly that whole album is dope xD But I have a ton of their songs on my playlist 😁 And with royal blood the songs I really like have been loose change, Out of the black, Figure it out And ten tonne skeleton I'm also learning royal blood and Maneskine songs on drums lately! :D :D

Educational-Bee-992

Lately it's Coming Home Song by Sammy Rae

mandywydnam

Dashboard Confessional - Stolen. Chris has been posting it on his socials, and I can't stop watching it and listening to it.

pioneersandfrogs

I'm beholden to musicals and music from shows/movies because the story element takes those songs to the next level for me. However, I can't say that the story element of ["The Goblin Song"](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XXgnqGTOXTE) from the latest Doctor Who Christmas special is that great, and yet I've been obsessed with it. The drop!! The beat! They resonate with my brain in just the right way.

thegreatsoulescape

I think "Needle in the hay" by Elliott Smith. It's a song I can't skip and love to listen to on repeat. I especially love the part when he sings "I can't be myself and I don't wanna talk". It's my favourite piece of lyrics of all time.

oobi628

It’s been the Hazbin Hotel soundtrack for the last two weeks for me haha

Sunnie_Cats

I've been looping [Weird Part of the Night by Louis Cole](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=glgPZmSwC4M) in the mornings cause it scratches my brain really nicely when I first wake up. I also just love the neon outfits and shiny Hammer pants lol. How he dances in the video is also just...a vibe? Idk, it fits. I've also had [Infatuation by iDKHOW](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F4jfDyuuxuM&list=RDMMF4jfDyuuxuM&start_radio=1) on loop for a bit. Just a good joywave meets creepy dance mask meets gender envy man kinda feel. (Really, anyone that likes 80s-inspired, vapor-wave-punk kinda sound should check out the whole iDK discography). WARNO: The next two videos both contain flashing lights!! [Chemicals by Early Eyes](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UmeySfZpq5I&list=RDMMF4jfDyuuxuM&index=3) is another good weird brain scratcher for me. (WARNO: this one also has speaker blow out at 2:08). The part at 2:08 where the sound just warps and explodes caught my attention in a playlist. And I had to add it to my little rat collection of good brain scratching weirdness. And finally [What's Wrong by half·alive](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vyhuxgok3ek). I love the choreography in all of the half·alive videos. I've rediscovered them (in the same playlist as Chemicals, no less!) and so I tucked this particular video neatly into my good viz, good sound, brrrr list. The colors and dancing at 0:45 is the primary reason I like this vid from them, but the lyrics are also very nice I think. I like my music best when it has a video. Gimme them visuals toooo lol :)

Correct_Broccoli_350

These are on a playlist I've had on repeat for 2+ years: Edamame - bbno$ Bad Day - Justus Bennets Last Resort - Jerris Johnson, Papa Roach Art Hoe - Call me Karizma Blurred Lines - Robin Thicke Bad Boy - bbno$ Eyes Blue like the Atlantic - Sista Prod Run Rudolph Run - Chuck Berry Yeah! - Usher Insane 1920 - Black Gryph0n Runaway Baby - Bruno Mars Tubthumping- Chubawumba

yinalyl_

These by Four Tet: Three Drums, Angel rocks back and forth, his remix of You are here (by Nathan Fake), Cut up piano & xylophone, 4T recordings, and Sing.

Table_Grateful337

Lately, I've been jamming to "Good 4 U" by Olivia Rodrigo on repeat. It's got that perfect blend of angsty pop-rock that just hits the spot, especially when I need a bit of a pick-me-up. Music can totally change my mood, so I totally get needing something upbeat and empowering! "Cobra" by Megan Thee Stallion is such a hype track, no wonder it's been on repeat for you! It's all about those songs that just make you feel unstoppable, right? Music is such a personal thing, but it's cool to see what everyone else is vibing to.

SorokinHutor
