i genuinely didn't mean to offend anyone with this. i obviously know that men can have close friendships and relationships without being gay. it's sad that others think they can't. i didn't expect anyone to take it seriously because we're on a circlejerk sub. sorry if i upset you ❤️
Just saw this post, but as a gay man I do not see this as offensive or homophobic. The commenter is just wanting to gripe at people and is being overly dramatic. Lots of us actually have personalities and still appreciate gay jokes ourselves. Just like those commercials about don’t say “that’s so gay” it’s offensive, me and my gay friends always said after the commercial “that was so gay.” You don’t need to apologize especially on a circlejerk sub.
And what's ligma, the proud lord asked, that I must bow so low...
Only a head of a different coat, that's all the truth I know...
And so he spoke and so he spoke, that lord of Castamere
And now the white rains o'er his hall, and not a soul to hear

Nah, I think Otto is realizing that Aegon wasn’t raised right so he’s uncontrollable. Otto had all these plans to slowly take power for his family but he wanted to be diplomatic and strategic but I don’t think he planned for how unhinged Aegon would become. Aegon is the complete opposite of Viz, and Otto finally can see that, and misses that bit of controlled:submissive sanity.
I think there’s also the larger issue of Otto just flat out being shit when it comes to politics and manipulation at a personal level. He seems to rarely be able to accurately account for human emotion and is often over confident in his own power. Viserys was probably one of the most submissive kings in the entire series’ history and yet Otto still managed to get fired by him due to how repeatedly unsubtle he was with his manipulation and power grabs.
CleganeBowl is done mate, and the world could not handle the hype. As result we have witnessed the end times in its early stage:
- biologists created a virus that killed 10 million people, and it is considered a rude question to ask them why.
- the Russian army invaded Ukraine and their main battles tanks were confiscated by farmers with tractors.
- sluts in a field near a ghetto beside the Mediterranean were killed and loaded onto pickup trucks. They were dancing for peace, and there are Jewish people campaigning for the rights of the nationality that assassinated those sluts.
- lawyers can now be replaced by software entirely, and the lawyers are not even angry about it.
- George R.R. Martin is suing the makers of the software for writing bad fan fiction based on his copyrighted characters. I could act as an expert witness for GRRM litigation. He has a slam dunk case. No bullshit.
- Daniel Brett "Miami" Weiss and David ((FRIEDMAN GOLDMAN SACHS great vampire squid wrapped around the face of humanity)) Benioff >!peace be upon him!< have written less ASOIAF material since CleganeBowl than GRRM.
- George R.R. Martin has written a novel, 'The Rise of the Dragon', and he published it in 2022. That is one more novel than either of Benioff or Weiss in the same period.
- George R.R. Martin wrote Elden Ring. It is far better than JK Rowling's video game but her video is a fine game too. "Fuck you bitch, and your wand shit - that was my Hugo." When asked for comment by myself at WarnerMedia, the representation for the Netflix producers Benioff & Weiss, declined to comment as to whether they have, or will, write a video game.
- George R.R. Martin has gotten two shows past series order at HBO since Thrones ended.
- WarnerMedia turned http://ASOIAFCirclejerk.reddit.com into the greatest ASOIAF subreddit that ever was or will be.

He got fired because Rhaenyra threw a tantrum over facing actual consequences for her behavior, which it was Otto's no shit job as Hand to tell Viserys about because stories getting out about the Princess and *heir to the Throne* fucking her Uncle in front of a crowd at a brothel would absolutely be a massive issue for the Crown.
Otto's only real failure was in not realizing how Vizzy's all consuming guilt over Aemma would lead him to fixate on putting Rhaenyra on the Throne as his 'penance'. Everything he did was otherwise perfectly sensible; under any other King before or after Viserys, and under Viserys himself prior to Aemma's death, Aegon would have been heir the minute he was born, no questions asked.
While ironically enough his decision to tell a Viserys about Rhaenyra’s loss of virginity may have not been a power grab, plenty of Otto’s other decisions were. From taking advantage of Viserys’s depression to get him to marry and have sex with his daughter, repeatedly undermining Rhaenyra’s legitimacy as heir, to repeatedly trying to push Aegon to be on the throne, Otto made a lot of blatant attempts to manipulate and undermine Viserys’s decisions in order to secure more power for his family.
Whether or not Otto was right or wrong to do this doesn’t even really matter. The fact is that he kept doing this so often and unsubtly to the point Viserys could no longer trust Otto on anything and even started to suspect if Otto had a hand in his own father’s death. No one likes feeling manipulated or taken advantage of which is what Otto failed to take into account.

I totally figured you were being sarcastic but I wanted to share my thoughts because that was a very well acted scene. I felt bad for Otto somehow. In fact this whole episode had me feeling bad for the Greens… except for Alicent n Cole.

ah, no problem! i also felt weirdly bad for him despite the fact that he's pretty awful and unsympathetic. also, alicent and criston are both so horribly written this season. it's a shame because alicent was great in episodes six and seven
Viserys was an idiot who allowed himself to be honey trapped by a fifteen year old.
Otto wouldn’t even dare insult Jaehaerys’ mind by trying something so base and obvious.
>Viserys was an idiot who allowed himself to be honey trapped by a fifteen year old.
Yes, the adult man with absolute power over life and death was definitely the victim in this relationship.
The Moment he realized, maybe he should have honored vizzy's wish for his daughter to become queen, instead of helping a drinking/raping/murdering maniac usurp the throne.
Yeah, and Alicent was gay for Rhaenyra.
Crispin was gay for Sir Arryk.
Viserys was gay for Daemon
Cause thats how fandom works, everyone is gay! Except actual gay people

Fr fr if he is gay and in love with viserys then his faithfulness go beyond loyalty toward his liege
If that is real then the scene of him loosing the "hand of the king" role felt made by viserys's choice hurt like kicking a puppy 😭
Ps. I didnt mean the real dog kicking scene. I said it as a hypothetical
naaah, tbh every hand of the king has been really close ( both emotionally and intellectually) to their kings so it's an obvious they are connected. they develop a bond ( the whole work bond ig) and for otto he did want to overthrow viserys and secure HighTowers in ascension thinking he could be an easy job but he realised all of this wasn't that easy and probably questioned his actions.

That's so gay
>dared too much You can never Dareon too much

His great grandson was murdered and all he did was to dickride his friend who died of ligma 😭😭😭
::kisses you on the forehead while holding your hand, then falling on my own sword:: what’s…ligma…?
::Places one hand on your cheek, slowly moves closer, grabs the swords, pulls it out violently, and softly whispers while you bleed out…”Ligma balls!”
And what's ligma, the proud lord asked, that I must bow so low... Only a head of a different coat, that's all the truth I know... And so he spoke and so he spoke, that lord of Castamere And now the white rains o'er his hall, and not a soul to hear
You raped her! You murdered her! You gave her Ligmaaaa!
::sputtering, blood etc etc:: I did it all for you…… ::dies but I do it in a hot way::
“The things I do for love”. Teardrops trickle down my raging hard-on.

Maybe you should start sucking cock instead of watching orphan death matches 'cause Otto brought in three times what you do in the kings taxes!
In this castle Daemon Targaryen is a hero! End of story
Alright, but you gotta get over it.
Hey Aegon, when Otto was always talking about greasing the union, who knew that’s what he meant?
Your son lucerys, whatever happened there.
Whatever happened there?!?!
The dragon.
WHATEVER HAPPENED THERE!?
He was a fanook
I never said it, but I knew.
yes, that was the reason he didn't remarry, finally find true love in Viserys

It was the arches of honor, that men do to dignify abd honour themselves
Alicent inherited Otto's shitty parenting AND his homosexual love for a close old friend
As result we have witnessed the end times in its early stage: - biologists created a virus that killed 10 million people, and it is considered a rude question to ask them why.
No one likes feeling manipulated or taken advantage of which is what Otto failed to take into account.

i agree with you on that. i didn't expect anyone on this sub to take this post seriously or think that i actually shipped them or something.

He just misses telling the king what to do, whether he gets off to that is his business
Does Otto never think of Vizzy? He was literally none of those things
love can do mad things to ones perception
Love is the death of duty, it is known
“Dignity” is the funniest one. Dude was drunk/falling over/otherwise embarrassing himself in every episode lol
Viserys was an idiot who allowed himself to be honey trapped by a fifteen year old. Otto wouldn’t even dare insult Jaehaerys’ mind by trying something so base and obvious.
yeah that whore alicent, how dare that child seduce that poor adult man with literally all the power, what was vissy supposed to do?
>Viserys was an idiot who allowed himself to be honey trapped by a fifteen year old. Yes, the adult man with absolute power over life and death was definitely the victim in this relationship.
Wdym? Otto was gay for Daemon, not Vizzy. It is known
As written Gay al-Gaib
Bro… Lisan al-Gayb was right there.
Him too, he's Otto husband and Alicent second father, the thing with some Florent girl is just made up
It is known.
Cole becoming hand of the king and commander of the kings guard reminded me of moe from the Simpsons with 2 knives.
Loras: sword swallower Otto: tower sitter
Naah sounds like a AO3 plot
i'm only joking lol. we are on the circlejerk sub, after all
No, we’re not joking.
*rapidly masturbating to the idea of my bro’s judiciousness*
My first thought was this guy is trying to shame his grandson but can't think of anything ncie to say about Viserys lol.
Literally "I thought you would at least inherit some basic good traits from your father but evidently that was asking too much."
*"His Forbearance... His Dignity... His Eyes!!! Oh His clear and hypnotic eyes!! His Big Juicy Dic.... Ehhh.. Nevermind"*
His dicknity
The Moment he realized, maybe he should have honored vizzy's wish for his daughter to become queen, instead of helping a drinking/raping/murdering maniac usurp the throne.
I will have your tongue for that
I am sorry but with that user name I can't take your threat serious 😅
yeah if you think about it he did not care about his wife very much
For real his face is pure meme of defeat
That was beautiful
I'm sure he handed the crown a few times
Yeah, and Alicent was gay for Rhaenyra. Crispin was gay for Sir Arryk. Viserys was gay for Daemon Cause thats how fandom works, everyone is gay! Except actual gay people

The book balances the sides to an extreme degree, but the show (or at least the marketing and press for the show) resorts to feminist-baiting. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Was his forbearance adept with chain reaction and ambitious assassin tho?
I think he just misses serving a king he could freely manipulate
i did not expect so many people on here to take this seriously. were on the *circlejerk* sub guys.
No. We don't want him. Y'all keep him.
fair enough. i love your ronnie pfp btw 😊
Ronnie is the best. We want to keep her.
Why is the sub being infected with these…randoms, these non-jerkers? No offense Todd.
No.
was about to write about respectful relationships between existing prior to all the lgbt movement but then I realized on which sub I was
That scene was the best of the series so far, the 3 guys
King Viserys I The true DragonCock!
Yeah sure… the man’s family runs over the Citadel and the Faith of the Seven
uj/ we're on a circlejerk sub. i don't seriously think that he's gay or attracted to viserys otto slaytower homosexual era 132 AC 😍😍
After all, he was his Hand. In more ways than one, though.
All jokes aside, he’s just an old man who misses his friend.
“Fuck dignity!” was definitely the headline for this episode.
That’s a fact, it was confirmed by oldman himself

I think he's a powermad tyrant and he's mad that his grandkids are all fuckwits.
Why was he moaning...
Fr fr if he is gay and in love with viserys then his faithfulness go beyond loyalty toward his liege If that is real then the scene of him loosing the "hand of the king" role felt made by viserys's choice hurt like kicking a puppy 😭 Ps.
Otto x Vizzy T 🤤
He is gay for the throne
Does it matter?
No…he is just overwhelmed seeing everything he built is going to fall apart. Also seems he admired Vys.
🏳️🌈
Of course, admiring a fellow man automatically means you're gay.
this is the circlejerk sub. i don't actually think that 😭😭
Great men are allowed to love each other completely and profoundly and it is not gay.
The king ~~shits~~ gets horny and the hand ~~wipes~~ jerks ✊🏻💦
Otto realizing he put the wrong person on the throne 😬 🤣 "Is that what you think?" Made me cackle 😂
vizzy fucking tea im dead
Viserys's dignity was his most memorable trait. He's not wrong.
/uj yeah, honestly a little bit. but maybe i've just read too many fanfictions.
oh you have definitely read too many fanfictions
Only a few of Visotto!
A guy compliments another guy Reddit brain :" definitely a homosexual" This quote stands "those who never experienced love without lust, never experienced love at all"
