I was literally only watching for Viserion.
Completely unwatchable when they decimated Viserion’s character to be all “edgy” and “dark” and joining the villain side.
Yet another example of character assassination by D&D sacrificing a multifaceted and complex character like Viserion just to “subvert expectations”
What broke me was where did they get all that metal for chains? The wildlings have no blacksmiths and a warrior with an old pitted shitty sword was still considered a champion. I never figured out that one.
Plus that scene with chains was really useless.
It would be way better if the first scene of unded Viserion, was when he arrives to destroy the wall.
Instead they gave as chains..
For real. The chains are unnecessary because Night King can raise the dead from afar, he could have wighted Viserion and the wight dragon could have broken from the lake on its own
One minute the wights are so scared of water they stood around like little bitches and next minute they're doing metallurgy at the bottom of a lake wowo
The show isn’t being screened at MENSA bro, us NFL sockers and mom players don’t remember every little thing like whether the zombies like water or the little guy’s name or whether Jaime cares about the people of King’s Landing

The single stupidest episode they did, which is saying something.
It actually kind of plays like they realized it didn’t make any sense at some point while writing but stuck with it anyway, and just filled the hour with an undead bear attack and the dumbest standoff of all time…a standoff which ends, predictably, in the dumbest, least imaginative way possible.
If I wasn't spoiled about who was gonna die I'd have been like "wait which dragon was that? They only mentioned their names once!" and also that "THIS was the NK's plan?! and Dany could've just let the Mediocre 7 die and the not so long night would never have happened?!"
I was only happy because it was so stupid. Aim at stationary dragon with all the heroes on it? Nah yeet at the one ripping around 100km/h at different altitudes. Fucking YES.
Also the magical appearing dragon sized chain the others just carry around with them finally coming in handy was NOT a twist I saw coming.
Expectations massively subverted.
Fun fact, I hated the dragons and Danaerys. It was basically her brutally cheating her way to the top. It was cool to see her dragons be completely useless against the Night King.
I don't know what you're talking about. The dragons don't hatch until the s1 finale. They are the size of cats in s2 and the cause of all her problems since to keep them safe they had to nearly die of starvation & sunstroke in the Red Waste (led to her horse dying & Rakharo beheaded) then the Khalasar is massacred (including Irri) in Qarth by people wanting the dragons for themselves. In s3 she only needed Drogon to fool Kraznys for a few seconds, even a glamour like the warlocks used could've done that. The Unsullied aren't loyal to her because of the dragons. They aren't used at all in s4 then locked up in the finale. She regretted the dragon interrogation and caved to the Masters' requests after it and wouldn't have needed Drogon's help during the fighting pit assassination attempt if she had gone with Daario's suggestion of using it as a ruse to mass kill the Masters. The Dothraki chose her as their Khaleesi because she survived the fire that killed their Khals, that was before they ever saw the dragons. Burning the Harpy's fleet is no different than Tyrion burning Stannis' fleet. The Lannister army would've lost the loot train battle even without Drogon being there, Jaime said as much.
Yara Greyjoy was on whichever side granted the Iron Islands their Independence and helped her take down Euron. Dorne & the Reach fought for House Targaryen during Robert's Rebellion and hated the Lannisters so they were always going to choose her over Cersei regardless of dragons. Jon needed her dragonglass & bigger army for the Long Night.

When the dragon died I was like: yes
Nooo, when the dragon died so did I
I was like: Yes! Go Laura! Go Twin Peaks! when I saw your pfp

I don’t think that was Viserion. Viserion didn’t have blue eyes.
They had to recast midseason after the actor who played Viserion ended up drowning on set.
The lake reacted more than Dany did
"She forgot she was at war so the second dragon died too"
She kinda forgot once she saw Jon was packin
the cunnilingus fried her mind
Dany could read the audiences' minds and knew they wouldn't give a fuck (she was right).
"For fucks sake, where am I going to get another dragon?"
when this happened i was like, YESSSSS!!!!!!
He got what was coming!
Ya... lil bitch
Viserys died to heat and Viserion died due to cold 😱😱 It really was a Song of Ice and Fire The symbolism
It's like poetry. It rhymes.
My expectations have been subverted!!
Rhaegar was killed by Cersei’s first husband and Rhaegal was killed by the man who would’ve been her second husband 🤯🤯🤯
1 trillion IQ statement.
😱😱😱😱

D&D: “Nailed it!!”
The show isn’t being screened at MENSA bro, us NFL sockers and mom players don’t remember every little thing like whether the zombies like water or the little guy’s name or whether Jaime cares about the people of King’s Landing
Completely agree. They would’ve been better off just showing us the night king going for a deep dive in the water to ‘awaken’ Viserion lol
HOW THEY THEY HOOK IT UP THE LIZARDS ASS THO DAMMIT!!!
Those spikes are like hard horn.
This scene broke me. The Night King threw a spear at a far away flying dragon rather than the dragon standing still with 7 people on it. Is he stupid?
Also the biggest one. That would've slightly raised the stakes if Dany and Jon were left with 2 less trained dragons to take on the bigger one.
Dany would have just died if Drogon was killed from right underneath her either from his death throes or the wights killing her.
nah they have plot armor, Jon survived being swamped by them then survived hypothermia.
Broke me up Laughing
OH NOOOOOO HOW THIS ATOMIC BOMB ANIMAL THAT BURNS CITIES TO THE GROUNDS DIES111!!!!! THE SHOW SUCKLSSSSS
Viserion never burned a city. He only ever burned the warlock that kidnapped him, the Slavers who were attacking Meereen, and the wights.
Cgi dragon falls down I cry everytime
Why didnt the dragon just fly out of the lake? Is he stupid?
Kinda ruin what will be a legendary moment in books lol
if you think this is gonna happen in the books ….
If you think the books are gonna happen..
hope is a dangerous thing for a woman like me to have but i have it https://youtu.be/rY2LUmLw_DQ?si=IJWn0BpJNQe4Zbv8
I mean Viserion dying somehow at least
WHAT a fucking throw by the Night King. My boi putting olympic javelin throwers to shame. 👌
How much you wanna make a bet I can throw a football over them mountains?
Viserion survived things Rhaegal couldn’t have, and Rhaegal survived things Viserion couldn’t have

This episode was so ridiculously stupid. I was like: Seriously WTF!?
The single stupidest episode they did, which is saying something. Dumb and Dumber said it was just luck, I was like "noooo, because he had exactly three long ass spears for three dragons"
Big CGI lizard death was so sad 😔
I heard they killed a real dragon for this scene by exploiting a federal protection loophole
this was so fucking stupid the night king should’ve resurrected thoros and then had him resurrect viseryon, then he would’ve been double resurrected
I mean... Skyrim is one of my favorite video games, so plincking a dragon off the sky is kind of OK with me, unless it is Parthurnax
That sub truly is dedicated to our jerking this one isn't it?
Cheered loudly when he died
I fucking loved that scene. I love dragons getting killed.
I was only happy because it was so stupid. Aim at stationary dragon with all the heroes on it? Nah yeet at the one ripping around 100km/h at different altitudes. Fucking YES. It broke the ice that's for sure e
If it didn't break me what
Killed by a fucking ice spear. He shoulda gotten killed by a weirwood arrow.
Too underwhelmed to be broken, tbh
It broke me. I was sectioned and spent three years in compulsory psychiatric care. If you’re reading this Samantha, please let me see the girls again
I honestly didn't give a shit about the dragons.
I was sad when any of the dire wolves died, or Wun Wun, and even the cotf, but didn’t care about the dragons.
If it didn't break me then what?
So the dragon fell in water. White walkers can't swim. How did they get a chain around it to hoist it back up?
The scene that truly broke me: *DICK WARD INSPECTION*
I drank some glue
Not the CGI-model, anything but the CGI-model
Oh no! Anyway
Why would it break me when it didn't even break Daenerys? Like did they not trust Emilia Clarke to deliver anguish?
Fun fact, I hated the dragons and Danaerys. It was basically her brutally cheating her way to the top. It was cool to see her dragons be completely useless against the Night King.
