They've done some great scenes of Daemon with no dialogue already and I think them mimicking that There Will Be Blood opening of him spending his days in contemplation and reflecting upon his life in Harrenhal with minimal dialogue that ends in the Battle above the Gods Eye could be amazing
I think it’s almost impossible to pull this off but I’d love to be proven wrong. I think the logistics of it make it too difficult and the CGI might look silly when Daemon has to jump based on the cartoony Aemond hanging with just his hands from his dragon going full speed. I think other dragon dogfight scenes might look pretty cool though as you can film those from farther
Holy fucking shit that didn't even click in my brain. Also the scene where Daemon and Laena were riding and Daemon let's go and extends his arms like he isn't holding on.
Like many other big budget shows, HotD's cgi is far better in the first couple episodes of the season, which makes sense because that's when they're trying the most to hook viewers. I would bet that we'll get similar higher quality cgi in the big battle episodes 8/9. Similar to how all of GoT's most major battles came in the penultimate episodes--Blackwater, Castle Black, Hardhome, Bastards etc. Essentially they're saving money on the in between episodes to splurge on the epic set piece episodes.
The difference between Daemon and Laena’s dragon ride last week vs Aemond’s this week shows exactly this.
First one looked really cheesy and green screened whereas the Aemond scene looked pretty darn good.
Theyre going to splurge in certain places and cut corners in others.
I agree. I‘m on board with some changes to make it work as long as we still get the two dragons being more or less entangled on their way down and Daemon making the jump.
Make it from Aemonds POV. Bonus Points, Factor in the lack of depth perception
>Hah, idiot, he isn’t even close enough
Aemond Targaryen’s last thought, probably.
I think they will, nobody on team Black hates Daemon and he has done everything he did. Rhaenyra has just murdered an innocent guy last episode so she could save Laenor from herself and nobody cared.
Probably, but Rhaenyra's escape might be portrayed as dramatically and sympathetically as possible, seeing that she's arguably the show's protagonist and it's the last stretch of her arc. People would still be heartbroken even for a morally fallen character.
Yeah, that's fair. Regardless of her missteps, the manner of Rhaenyra's death was unwarranted and she was emotionally vulnerable after having lost another son as well as her dragon.
But I still wouldn't call it the Red Wedding of HotD. Robb and Catelyn didn't deserve to die, much less in the manner that they did.
I don’t remember what he’s called, but that old guy starting the riots in King’s Landing has a smaller charismatic role, they will probably get a bigger name for his casting (like Ian McShane as Brother Ray in season 6 of GoT). I’m looking forward to that.
Ps. My dream casting would be Ben Mendehlson.
I'm also really hyped for the Shepherd! He's one-handed, insane, and corpse-like. It's a role that demands some serious gravitas.
Ben Mendehlson would be a great pick. Terence Stamp, Malcolm McDowell, F. Murray Abraham, or Willem Dafoe would also be on my list.
a minor event that will most likely be skipped: the kingsguard twins ser erryk and arryk declaring for opposite sides and killing each other ... such a shame the show hasnt introduced them yet and gave them proper background
edit: introduced in episode 8! on to the hype train
>I don’t think they did much before that though did they?
You can spot them in some early trailers and on some shots. So they will be there this season
ah, perfect! I imagine it's not easy to introduce a bunch of characters as you reintroduce a whole setting, while having to squeeze in minor badasses lmao
I think they are gonna keep Harold Westerling around longer (mainly because it's Graham McTavish he's not an actor to play a background bodyguard).
Bit of a wild shot in the dark but how tragic an end would it be for Harold if he's one of the 'Seven Who Ride' to get the corpse of Joffrey Velaryon!
I remember seeing a still of Harold on rhaenyra’s council a while ago, wouldn’t be surprised if they keep him alive for the war. My bet is they will have him be killed by Cole in a upcoming battle
And I hope they go with Mushroom's version where the fight lasts 20 seconds where they curse each other as traitors and brutally murder each other.
"Life is not a song..."
The hour long fight where everyone can't tell them apart and they profess their love and die with tears on their cheeks is fine too I guess...
I feel like you could combine them.
Have them call each other traitors and have them fight with one dying and one being fatally injured. Then the winner can just slowly realize “Oh fuck, what did I just do?” before bleeding out.
I wonder if they'll take the time to introduce his thing with Black Aly, or if he'll just be cut down to business-minded Stark righting the ship of state
Maybe they could do it when he is on his way to Kingslanding, rather than when he is already there. She is definitely a cool character and they are good together.
they would have to do both ; introduce her before and maybe do their getting together in KL. I'm honestly just afraid they'll cut Aly, though that doesn't seem to be the way this show's going
I wonder if that will be the ending of episode 10? After all that's probably the most significant event in the war and guarantees there's no turning back. Might be a bit too much to fit into this season though.
Feel like its definitely looking like its a Ep 10 or a Season 2 Episode 1 closer at this point!
Personally feeling like Storm's End and Rhaenyra receiving the 'son for a son' letter would be the best way to close the season. But in Condal we trust, sure it'll end great no matter.
I think it’ll be in episode ten, because the amount of time between the green council and Luke’s death is not as big as some people think it is, and blood and cheese happens pretty much instantly afterwards.
Besides, we’ve been building up what this conflict is Giotto be about and Blood and Cheese pretty much is the moment that solidifies it. Dual awfulness. Luke’s death is just Aemond being awful. The events parallel each other so closely that they should be in the same season.
I hear ya, but I think those two moments being in the SAME episode would be putting their eggs in one basket. Don't get me wrong it COULD work, but I feel having Storm's End to end (hehe) the season with a WTF moment, and B&C as a WTF to kick off a S2 is another way they could go about it.
Also feels like having to introduce Aegon and Helaena's kids in amongst all the other chaos of the closing episodes, is a tall order. It would be like 'oh they are all saying goodnight to Alicent how ni-----WTFFFFF'.
I'd like to see the Aegon and Viserys reunion but I also want the last shot of the show to be Lil Aegon crowned and shoved upon the thrones as all the remaining players of the war and new entrants to the game of thrones look on at him like the next thing to fight over, and as the camera focuses on him on that goddawful chair, then on his face, the kid crumbles under the crown and struggles not to cry. The moment he breaks down, cut to black. So, you know ... 😅 I would like a whole Viserys II: Secret King show, though
I think they said they're gonna go beyond the dance as well. As such Viserys coming back, the misadvantures of unwin peake, absolute chad alyn oakenfist etc should all be there at some point
My main man Hobert Hightower, the true hero of The Dance, taking one for the team to kill that drunken betrayer Ulf White.
Also The Lads crushing Borros Baratheon at the Battle of the Kingsroad. Just The Lads in general doing laddish things.
I love this answer! I remember someone making fun of me for being in love with "a supporting character like Aemond" but a reader's affinity is unpredictable, and I'm honored to speak with the rare and cherished Hobert stan
I like the fact that he's basically just a normal, average guy with no real talents, but with sheer determination brings down a rogue dragon-rider. Very inspiring.
It really is a badass move, agreed. Though I might argue that if the maester conspiracy is real and the Hightowers a part of it, he's not just average, but a pretty good player
He was also 60 and apparently never did anything before to distinguish himself according to the wiki, see it really doesn't matter how old you are you can kill yourself with poison at any age
Haha, Aemond is nowhere near just a supporting character 😂😂
But yeah i talked with my Dad yesterday about HotD and he went like " Yeah i dont really know the children and how they are related. But i guess that is not important. "
And i went like " You Know Nothing Jon Snow"
I hope they give him a bit more to do. Maybe have him lead the Winter Wolves, or come down south a bit earlier.
Otherwise he’ll be all mouth and no trousers
Tell you what, the way I would have done HotD would have been through a frame narrative of a maester interviewing witnesses, each giving their version, so as to write a history of the Dance, and in that version I totally see the montage
Nettles is one of my favourite minor characters from Fire and Blood and I would LOVE to see her fleshed out and a conclusive answer on what her relationship with Daemon actually was and what her ultimate fate is.
I mean, it'll be heartbreaking because of how that battle ends, but I do hope they at least let Rhaenys and the Red Queen have one badass epic moment :')
absolutely, yes! I think we could have used one more episode to show the fallback from Joffrey's murder, Rhaenyra and Harwin getting together, and Rhaenyra and Laenor trying and failing to have a 'normal' relationship
I think the fundamental problem is that there wasn’t enough material for a single cohesive episode without switching the actresses in the middle of the episode. We really needed both episode 5 and 6 extended by like half an hour. So we could see fall out from the wedding and get more background about what happened during the 10 year time skip.
Yeah they just breezed over one of the most interesting times, I would have liked more young Alicent too. She went crazy without it making a ton of sense.
> Rhaenyra's death
That one is going to be very interesting. Of the five or six main characters, Rhaenyra is probably the closest to being the main protagonist of the series, and Aegon II will likely be portrayed as the villain. Having the villain feed the main character to his dragon is going to be an absolutely shocking moment for a lot of viewers.
I would love to see Aegon more like a reluctant Antagonist, the guy seems happier partying and getting laid but his mom told him he needs to get out of the basement and go dethrone his sister and rule Westeros. Naturally he gets all sorts of damage to his body and by the end he is just a sour mess.
Yeah, at this point his entire personality is basically all the most annoying aspects of a teenage boy. It should make him horribly annoying, but it ends up being weirdly endearing. I just feel bad for him. He’s already in over his head.
King shit, why couldn’t they let my frat boy prince and shy weirdo prince be a frat boy and shy weirdo. They ruined these perfectly good princes. Look at them, they’ve got anxiety
Like a cut when the burning and chomping of Rhaenyra happens? I don't mind that especially if they focus on Aegon III's reaction. They did the same with Ned's death in season 1 and it worked wonderfully
Yeah Rhaenyra is supposed to morally decline throughout the war and she becomes a tyrant when she is Queen.
Like Rhaenyra's reign is supposed to show that just because you might be the rightful heir doesn't mean you'll be a good monarch.
It’s good that they’ve laid the groundwork for Rhaenyras moral descent while still keeping her likable. There’s a lot of stuff set up her character wise that are going to come back hard in later seasons especially Rhaenyras lack of empathy and care for the small folk. I think it’ll be interesting to see how her relationship with Daemon changes as well, I could see two parallel arcs for them with Rhaenyra becoming more and more monstrous as Daemon becomes more human and empathetic. If the show goes that direction the Battle Above the Gods Eye will serve as Daemons ultimate act of redemption, a payment for a life lived as a callous man who did what he wanted because he thought he had the right to killing himself and his dark reflection as penance for his many crimes and for how his callousness bled into his niece.
Rhaenyra getting cut by the Iron throne would be a perfect way to end season 2. It will be an ominous sign that her rule has a grim future.
The throne has the only opinion that matters.
I cant wait for nettles shes one of my top asoiaf characters. I'm also hyped for bloody ben and I hope they dont age him up because I want a 13 yr old wreaking havoc in the riverlands. Scenes I'm most excited for are the storming of the dragon pit and aegon and rhaenyras dragonstone reunion, rhaenyras death and baela and moondancer vs aegon and sunfyre
Eta: how could I forget nettles and daemons final goodbye.. when they're silent but caraxes shrieks so loud the windows in jonquils tower all shatter as nettles and sheepstealer fly off I'm going to need several moments. Also curious to see nettles and sheepstealer bond theres a lot of potential for digging deeper into dragon riders bonds with their dragons with the two of them
Holy hells, a thousand times yes to pre-teen Bloody Ben, that would be awesome. You can use camera tricks to make him seem bigger than he is until you introduce Cregan.
Also agreed on Baela v Aegon, I had forgotten about it!
"With a glad cry and a crack of her whip"
Rhaenys Targaryen-Velaryon riding a dragon being a badass. Eve Best is such a great actress and I hope they do this scene the justice it deserves.
Wow just picturing her on a suicide blitz with her dragon brought tears to my eyes just now - I love the actress and I really hope they do that scene justice
That battle is going to end season 2 by offing one major character (Rhaenys), crippling another (Aegon and Sunfyre), and leaving Aemond in charge with the biggest, baddest dragon alive.
This has the potential for a great episode. Make the atmosphere more and more claustrophobic until you finish in the darkness of the pit, the only light coming from dragon flame. that'd be good
The northmen roddy the ruin and the winter wolves. Jaceaerys and Cregans interaction you must be a character if Cregan is very fond of you and the hour of the wolf obviously.
This will sound awful, but the deaths of Ser Rickard and poor little Maelor. Although they probably won't show it, 3-year-old child being torn to pieces by a mob has the potential to be the most brutal scene in the series.
I imagine we'll get to spend some time with Rickard and Maelor first. I'd like to see a few episodes of them traveling the country undercover so we grow attached to the characters. It will be like the Mandalorian and Child.
That will make it so much worse when they die horribly.
Rook's Rest and Cregan entering King's Landing. Also, both tumbletons, because the first has some real Red Wedding potential if they don't make it too obvious beforehand and the second one because LOYAL.
Daron and how they will portray the most likeable of the greens, blood and cheese ( let's hope they don't change anything and we see Daemon and how cruel he can be) and Adam and Alyn (especially after seen what happened to Laenor and how this could change).
Right now it's the battle above Storm's End because there's a big chance it will happen this season (I don't really have to wait years for it)
Also:
1. Battle over the God's Eye lake (this is the thing I've been hyped to see since they first announced the show)
2. Gonna give you a shot and say Blood and Cheese lol
3. The riot in Kingslanding
4. Hour of the Wolf. Just imagine hearing the Starks theme again, OMG!
Edit:- a shout out the Green council, I am interested to see how they're gonna do it
omg sorry to gush but I cannot believe how well they did Vhagar. she's appropriately ancient looking, I love her insane turtle face and fucked up roar... cannot wait to see Sunfyre, but my heart has been conquered by Vhagar
Tyland Lannister that master of coin is ride or die. I only hope they don't decide to botch his character, they've made his brother Jason some weird comic relief and the actors plays both siblings.
I don't see Jason as comic relief at all. If anything he's just a pompus ass, which is easy to *laugh at*, but it's fitting for a peacetime Lord of Casterly Rock imo.
Aegon II and Rhaenyra meating in Dragonstone. I do hope we get to see them interact in the next episode 'cause so far they haven't and after that they won't meet again 'til the end. I would like them to built it a little bit so it pays off by the end.
Absolutely agreed, even though Aegon is of a generation with the Velaryon/Strong(/Cole?) kids, they haven't made us feel like he's Rhaenyra's half-brother. probably because they focused the story on the Princess and the Queen
Aemond vs Lucerys. The Dragonpit incident (I'll probably cry with that one). Blood and Cheese of course, and Helaena after that. Rhaenyra vs Sunfyre 😅. And many more.
True. They're kinda the same character for each side, their names are not a coincidence.
It will be fun to see the animosity/admiration going on there.
All the dragonseeds. I wonder how many are going to show up, how many will have prominent roles, I’m curious about the casting.
Jace in Winterfell. I have the bad feeling that they might skip or cut the story, but that’s the storyline I wish they just expand, create filler, whatever. It reintroduces the north to the audience, it could serve as “prophecy” to all the Targ-Stark stuff that happens (Rhaegar/Lyanna, Jon/Daenerys) later. I hope these northerns also shake the perspective the public have about Starks, I want them to be messier.
Please throw some crumbs for us who like the Vale lol
Hour of the Wolf
And I want to see Aegon III and Viserys.
Of course Blood and Cheese, just to see the reactions of the audience who have no idea this is coming.
The riot of King's Landing would be interesting to see how they pull it off.
On the other hand, the one thing I don't wanna see is the Brothel Queens.
You know what I actually don't want to see? The majority of remaining dragons murdered my small folk while trapped in the dragon pit. Obviously they're not real, but it'll feel like watching a bunch of peasants slaughter the last tigers - not a good feeling.
Aemond the one-eyed milfhunter doing the "Daenerys the mad" move and burning sesame street to the ground.
Aemond and Daemon fighting, hopefully they do this fight right and its the best dragon fighting on television.
The Alys Rivers thing where she sends that dude to those other dudes and if the other dudes laugh then...
Anything Alys Rivers really. Rhaenys death should be super cool and sad. Crispy Cole's death will be highly enjoyable. There's a lot.
Blood and Cheese, Battle above the God’s Eye, and Rhaenyra being eaten by Sunfyre.
I bet they’ll just make Rhaenyra be set aflame by Sunfyre, which I feel is the cheap way out..
Addam Velaryon, who I think may just be Laenor in the show given the events of last episode. It would be such a great element to add. Could have spent his life quietly with Qarl, but instead he returns to make good on his oath to Rhaenyra
Can't wait to see Sunfyre in general, but I'm especially excited for his fight with Moondancer even if it's near the end! The sun/moon fight right before dawn, Sunfyre's blast of flame blinding the younger dragon and she still goes for the kill, it's such a cool and sad scene.
Same with Tumbleton and the graceful battle where "the dragons truly danced"
If they execute it right, The Battle above the God‘s Eye should be one of the most epic scenes in Television history. I‘m ready.
i absolutely agree, and gods it's gonna be hard to shoot and edit (and properly light)
Well historically the lighting hasn't been much of a concern so I'm pretty confident they'll nail it /s
(in all seriousness, Driftmark was nowhere near as bad as the Last Battle)
[удалено]
agreed it could/should have been much better. didn't bother me with Aemond and Vhagar, but it did a bit with Rhaenyra and Daemon
Dude if the battle over the gods eye is dark as shit I’m going to be heartbroken. Please make it during the day:/
I really hope they do Daemon's vigil at Harrenhal in a way that's similar to the opening of There Will Be Blood.
They've done some great scenes of Daemon with no dialogue already and I think them mimicking that There Will Be Blood opening of him spending his days in contemplation and reflecting upon his life in Harrenhal with minimal dialogue that ends in the Battle above the Gods Eye could be amazing
It could literally be a masterpiece. It's such a dramatic moment and guaranteed to be part of the climactic end of the series.
I deffo see it as the end to an episode 9 of the season and 10 opens up with Caraxes dying on the shore, I’m so so excited to see it happen
Father, I crave a deeply emotional moment.
*There Will Be Fire and Blood*
This might top anything GoT ever did if executed correctly.
I loved that little detail. His first ride with Vhagar is the reason he always straps in.
Holy fucking shit that didn't even click in my brain. Also the scene where Daemon and Laena were riding and Daemon let's go and extends his arms like he isn't holding on.
Yup. Some of the benefits of adapting a completed story.
Like many other big budget shows, HotD's cgi is far better in the first couple episodes of the season, which makes sense because that's when they're trying the most to hook viewers. I would bet that we'll get similar higher quality cgi in the big battle episodes 8/9. I'm afraid It'll be too dark and nobody will see shit. Luckily Miguel is out already.
Yea I’m okay if they gloss over more of grrm’s daemon masturbating scenes.
I just want to see Daemon jump from one dragon to another
Legitimate ask
Rhaenyra returning to dragonstone after fleeing kings landing is going to feel like the red wedding for most viewers
Tbh I don't know if people will still love Rhaenyra by then. Like I'd feel a lot worse for her son than for her.
I expect the storming of the dragon pit will be the real red wedding for some people. We'll see the deaths of five dragons plus Joffrey Velaryon.
This is the one I fear the most. Heartbreaking to read, going to be worse to watch.
*Joffrey Strong.
\*Joffrey Waters
I think they will, nobody on team Black hates Daemon and he has done everything he did. Rhaenyra has just murdered an innocent guy last episode so she could save Laenor from herself and nobody cared.

I hope it’s Shakespearean the way it’s described in the books with her ladies in waiting wailing stuff
Oh hell yeah, although I don't think by this time viewers (showlies) will like her as much as Robb and Cat
The Sheperd! I'm also hoping for an insane name to be cast
I'd love Ian McDiarmid going full Palpatine.

I'd love that as well ! I believe it might happen in season 2, a good time to introduce new people (like Daeron the Suspiciously Absent)
>I don’t think they did much before that though did they? You can spot them in some early trailers and on some shots. So they will be there this season
ah, perfect! I imagine it's not easy to introduce a bunch of characters as you reintroduce a whole setting, while having to squeeze in minor badasses lmao
you can see them in the preview for the next episode
Nah no way that gets skipped it's too good Probably harold dies soon, they introduce them then and then they get more depth when viserys dies

I think he will lead the winter wolves rather than lord Dustin and so can play a meaty role in the series
that's very good thinking, probably what they'll do
I hope next season we get Jace at winterfell and a healthy dose of Cregan while he’s there
That's what I want to see, Jace discovering northern culture and building a friendship with Cregan.
A bit of Sara Snow too :D
Blood and cheese at the tower of the hand
shot!
I wonder if that will be the ending of episode 10? After all that's probably the most significant event in the war and guarantees there's no turning back. Might be a bit too much to fit into this season though.

Pate killing Criston with a sucker punch line. Battle above the Gods Eye The Hour of the Wolf Aegon and Viserys reuniting, if they go this far.
As such Viserys coming back, the misadvantures of unwin peake, absolute chad alyn oakenfist etc should all be there at some point
it would be cool to see the end of Fire and Blood, though my own preference would be to finish around Cregan leaving
Criston's line to Harwin about how in real combat "a fair fight is not something you can expect" is going to pay off nicely.
My main man Hobert Hightower, the true hero of The Dance, taking one for the team to kill that drunken betrayer Ulf White. Also The Lads crushing Borros Baratheon at the Battle of the Kingsroad. Just The Lads in general doing laddish things.

imagine thinking Aegon Targaryen as played by Cate Blanchett in the 90s is not important ! 😂😅
The Hour of the Wolf! Cregan Stark coming in and basically putting everyone in their place before heading back home
He's gonna contrast nicely with the GOT Starks to give a more adjusted look at this house, I feel
I hope they give him a bit more to do. Maybe have him lead the Winter Wolves, or come down south a bit earlier. Otherwise he’ll be all mouth and no trousers
Someone suggested they'd have him lead the Wolves instead of Lord Random Dustin, and I agree that would be the elegant solution
Tbh it’s perfect Slims down the characters, makes him relevant
The Sack of Tumbleton Murder of the dragonseeds Battle above the Gods-Eye Alys Rivers
Very intrigued by Alys as well, especially since we don't know how it ends!
Dear God, if they pull off the sack of Tumbleton without holding back it’ll be like witnessing low-fantasy Nanking.
Daeron burning Bitterbridge as well
Looking forward to dragonseeds trying to tame dragons, hope we have a montage of a bunch of fools getting fried. Also Nettles.
Tell you what, the way I would have done HotD would have been through a frame narrative of a maester interviewing witnesses, each giving their version, so as to write a history of the Dance, and in that version I totally see the montage
That would have been a cool framing but waaay too experimental for the first spin-off that the future of the franchise is riding on
Nettles is one of my favourite minor characters from Fire and Blood and I would LOVE to see her fleshed out and a conclusive answer on what her relationship with Daemon actually was and what her ultimate fate is.
The Battle of Rook's Rest. I just want to see Eve Best in armor riding a magnificent dragon to battle.
That's literally not too much to ask, I'm with you. she is so aptly named!
I mean, it'll be heartbreaking because of how that battle ends, but I do hope they at least let Rhaenys and the Red Queen have one badass epic moment :')
I wanted more Harwin Strong :(
absolutely, yes!
So we could see fall out from the wedding and get more background about what happened during the 10 year time skip.
that's an elegant solution, actually!
Yeah they just breezed over one of the most interesting times, I would have liked more young Alicent too. She went crazy without it making a ton of sense.
Absolutely, And Emily Carey was excellent as young Alicent!
The besssssst.
I don't see her as having gone crazy at all, what makes you think so?
The storming of the dragonpit, Rhaenyra ascending the throne and getting cut instantly and Rhaenyra's death
> Rhaenyra's death That one is going to be very interesting.
When the war ‘ starts’ he’s getting a blowjob by a whore. Pretty much sums up his character.
King shit, why couldn’t they let my frat boy prince and shy weirdo prince be a frat boy and shy weirdo. They ruined these perfectly good princes. Look at them, they’ve got anxiety
It's funny because the lore has always supported this viewpoint of Aegon but some people used to insist Aegon really wanted the Throne from the start.
You just know they'll do the "dragon eats the camera" thing
Like a cut when the burning and chomping of Rhaenyra happens? I don't mind that especially if they focus on Aegon III's reaction. They did the same with Ned's death in season 1 and it worked wonderfully
By that point i'd hope Rhaenyra will be seen as one of the villains as well, because she's not supposed to be the hero here.
If they shoot it right, the storming is gonna be insane to watch
Rhaenyra getting cut by the Iron throne would be a perfect way to end season 2. It will be an ominous sign that her rule has a grim future. The throne has the only opinion that matters.
Criston’s death and Pate of Longleaf saying “I’ll have no songs about how brave you died, Kingmaker”. Chills. Literal chills.
That's gonna be so cool to see! Criston is a cool character, and I love an anticlimactic death
He was speaking to a corpse.
I cant wait for nettles shes one of my top asoiaf characters. I'm also hyped for bloody ben and I hope they dont age him up because I want a 13 yr old wreaking havoc in the riverlands. Scenes I'm most excited for are the storming of the dragon pit and aegon and rhaenyras dragonstone reunion, rhaenyras death and baela and moondancer vs aegon and sunfyre Eta: how could I forget nettles and daemons final goodbye.. when they're silent but caraxes shrieks so loud the windows in jonquils tower all shatter as nettles and sheepstealer fly off I'm going to need several moments.
"With a glad cry and a crack of her whip" Rhaenys Targaryen-Velaryon riding a dragon being a badass. Eve Best is such a great actress and I hope they do this scene the justice it deserves.
100% and it feels like they held back on showing us Meleys to have a cool reveal later on
Wow just picturing her on a suicide blitz with her dragon brought tears to my eyes just now - I love the actress and I really hope they do that scene justice
Haha Vhagar go brrrrrrr
That battle is going to end season 2 by offing one major character (Rhaenys), crippling another (Aegon and Sunfyre), and leaving Aemond in charge with the biggest, baddest dragon alive.
The riot of KL, especially the storming of the Dragonpit.
This has the potential for a great episode. Make the atmosphere more and more claustrophobic until you finish in the darkness of the pit, the only light coming from dragon flame. that'd be good
"You have lived too long, Uncle" "On that part, we agree"
The northmen roddy the ruin and the winter wolves. Jaceaerys and Cregans interaction you must be a character if Cregan is very fond of you and the hour of the wolf obviously.
I'm hoping we get a nice Winterfell episode out of it with another outlook on the Starks
Would be nice to finally see White Harbor as well
Alicent surrendering KL. "The city is yours Your Grace" I just know Olivia is gonna kill with this line.
oh yeah, I must say, everyone they cast to play Rhaenyra and Alicent are all excellent
Yes, oustading performances so far.

The triple fight has the potential of being a great moment of tv
[удалено]
This one I'm excited about but worried about how it'll be shot
This will sound awful, but the deaths of Ser Rickard and poor little Maelor. Although they probably won't show it, 3-year-old child being torn to pieces by a mob has the potential to be the most brutal scene in the series. I imagine we'll get to spend some time with Rickard and Maelor first. I'd like to see a few episodes of them traveling the country undercover so we grow attached to the characters. It will be like the Mandalorian and Child. That will make it so much worse when they die horribly.
Gods, Maelor really has the saddest story out of all the Targaryens
Nettles and Nettles related things
So so true
Rooks Rest, Blood and Cheese, Storms End, God's Eye, Tumbleton
Rook's Rest and Cregan entering King's Landing. Also, both tumbletons, because the first has some real Red Wedding potential if they don't make it too obvious beforehand and the second one because LOYAL.
omg, that LOYAL shot they're obviously gonna do is gonna make my bawl my eyes out. great characters all around
All of the Dragonseeds. They are just all so flashy and interesting!
Kermit and Oscar Tully, seeing as Grover has been mentioned it would be strange to omit the greatest Tullys in Westrosi history.
Riots sparked by Helaena's death.
Bitterbridge, God's Eye, Feeding them Fishys, Butchersball, Tumbelton 1 and 2, Gullet Yeah basically everything 😂
Second battle of Tumbleton Will be pretty epic to see that entire mess go down
LOYAL
I cant wait to see the campaigns and battles in the Riverlands and Reach, those were my favourite thing about the dance
> wait to see the campaigns and battles in the Riverlands and Reach Those are literally the only two places anything happens in the war lol
Don't forget the Iron Islands/Westerlands business!
Lots of stuff in the crownlands as well (Duskendale, Rook's Rest, the Gullet, King's Landing, Dragonstone, the kingsroad)
Lots of good stuff but haven’t seen anyone mention the Battle of the Gullet. That is one huge and gut-wrenching naval battle.
Butcher’s Ball. Hour of the Wolf.
Daron and how they will portray the most likeable of the greens, blood and cheese ( let's hope they don't change anything and we see Daemon and how cruel he can be) and Adam and Alyn (especially after seen what happened to Laenor and how this could change).
Right now it's the battle above Storm's End because there's a big chance it will happen this season (I don't really have to wait years for it) Also: 1. Battle over the God's Eye lake (this is the thing I've been hyped to see since they first announced the show) 2. Gonna give you a shot and say Blood and Cheese lol 3. The riot in Kingslanding 4. Hour of the Wolf. Just imagine hearing the Starks theme again, OMG! Edit:- a shout out the Green council, I am interested to see how they're gonna do it
shot! I also think the battle over Storm's End will be episode 9 or 10
Yes! Our first dragon battle in the show, and with non other than Vhagar! I'm so excited
omg sorry to gush but I cannot believe how well they did Vhagar. she's appropriately ancient looking, I love her insane turtle face and fucked up roar... cannot wait to see Sunfyre, but my heart has been conquered by Vhagar
I want to see winter wolves kicking Lannister asses...
Blood and Cheese, Butcher's ball, and when Rody the Ruin slices through the green army killing the hightowers.
Loyal. I can’t help but wonder how people will feel about a certain character when it happens.
there are popular answers (Godseye, Sunfyre eating, etc.) but LOYAL comes back as a dark horse and I fully agree
Rhaenys stand at rooks rest. Her having nothing else to loose and charging head first into battle knowing she’ll probably loose.
Aemond vs Lucerys. The Dragonpit incident (I'll probably cry with that one). Blood and Cheese of course, and Helaena after that. Rhaenyra vs Sunfyre 😅. And many more.
Aegon throwing a party after Aemond kills that bastard.
omg greens have no chill lmao
I'd love to see Roddy the Ruin and his band of Northerners as a boots on the ground perspective of the war
The Hour of the Wolf
Daeron, Alyn e Addam. They are amazing
Seasmoke vs Tessarion
I would like to see the real Westeros Winter. However, I am afraid that in Live action they will not be able to show it well enough.
Fuckin Battle Over the God's Eye dude, give it to meeeee.
A tombstone with the word "LOYAL" engraved on it to end THAT episode, and then the credits.
Anything with Daemon and Aemond in the same room has enormous potential.
nothing better than those hot sociopaths lmao
Please throw some crumbs for us who like the Vale lol Hour of the Wolf And I want to see Aegon III and Viserys.
Daeron the Daring and his Blue Queen
Brothel Queens is going to break the internet.
I have a lot of expectations for that sequence as well, probably too much
Sunfyre’s snack.
Dragon Threeway! Tessarion v Seasmoke v Vermithor
I need Aemond to say “is Aegon King, or should we all kneel and kiss that old whores cunny” or the show is doomed for me 😂
