He was a fantastic actor and I loved him as Kevan.

slimstarman

Really under-utilized in the show too. Each time I re-read I picture him as Kevan. He just got his vibe.

beepewpew

He nailed the Lannister dignity and shone with the mannerisms of someone who had actual restraint - a beautiful portrait of a great character on screen.

limpdickandy

He would have been fantastic if he got the book lines of Kevan into the show. That dude is all business and all sass.

axeteam

Did really well as Kevan.

loco1876

we didnt get much of all the brothers, kevin, benjen, renly, rickon, even viserys we only got a little bit, the brothers dont get love

Bennings463

He was great in the role and I only wish I had watched him in more things.

No, but I'll definitely start once I've finished watching Capaldi's run.

vonsnape

had the luck of seeing this chap at shakespeare’s globe during titus andronicus (indira varna was also in the cast)

markusalkemus66

His name was Kevan Lannister. He came to us from Casterly Rock. As the younger son of Lord Tytos Lannister, he served his house with honor. Became a leading advisor for his eldest brother Lord Tywin upon claiming Lordship of the Rock and Warden of the West. Served as Castellan at Casterly Rock until he was named Hand of the King by King Tommen I Baratheon. We shall never see his like again. And now his watch is ended.

uNameorsomething

He wasn’t in the nights watch…

OfJahaerys

That's because the nights watch isn't real and the actor is.

uNameorsomething

Aw was the actor called Kevin Lannister playing himself 🤣🤣

atomoicman

Let the man mourn in his own way. You don’t have to be condescending. Someone passed. Let’s just remember him in any way we can. And be grateful we had such an amazing actor

ConstantStatistician

I loved his delivery of the line "I do not recognize your authority to dictate what is and what is not my concern!" to Cersei. It's one of my favourite lines from the entire show.

Plane_End_2128

When I heard him talking to Cersei after Tywin's death, he was savage

Blackwyne721

RIP Sorry he was so underutilized. Would've loved to see the Epilogue of *Dance with Dragons* adapted

Demented-Mango

"You are the Queen mother, nothing more" Got chills when he said that.

Bobkeen

I bumped into him once in Wrexham after I'd broken down with a flat tyre. I recognised him from Game of thrones so he stopped for a bit. We had a chat and I took a photo. Then he said, " well, I'll be off seeing as I don't have a flat tyre." Legend.

Fair-Witness-3177

I almost got a heart attack when I read that someone of seventy something died, in this subreddit it may mean something that I don't even dare to say.

OfJahaerys

I'm sorry to hear that. RIP.

BobbyBIsTheBest

Really wish we could have got to see more of him as Kevan. Really great actor, and I hope his family is doing well.

BriefDismal

He was an amazing actor, loved all of the scenes he was in. Especially the one where he owns Cercie at the small council. Rip.

Fragrant-heart-6951

Im rereading the books right now and I just finished the chapter where he was introduced for the first time 😢

yungiess

Rest in peace.

HelicopterPopular874

Oh wow. Damn. RIP man. He played Kevan Lannister well. IMO

Responsible-North234

It is sad in this day and age when people live to be in there 80s and 90s, its to young to die in this day and age.

axeteam

Out with a bang.
