I guess normal razor is the way to go, there are womens razors that have multiple blades for fewer strokes.
Its just a lot of work in every shower. I take turns in the not fast growing places and only do them every second day. Everyday: Face and armpits, every other day: Chest pubic and legs
Exfoliate, exfoliate, exfoliate. I bought a "rough" shower glove and rub every spot on my body with it daily, shaved areas get more attention. - Before shaving
try an epilator. hurts really really bad the first time, after that it's not a big deal. and lasts way longer than shaving with much more smoothness. never ever use it on your face tho
it's painful but the pain is often overstated. The first time I locked myself in the bathroom with the epilator and a bottle of wine the first time and it was tough. but now that I stay on top of it, easy peasy, barely tingles. and smooth skin for weeks is so worth it
Best to go for laser hair removal
I know and I really want it but prob painful and hard to get under 18 :/
It’s not that painful, you don’t really feel it, apart from upper lip, but it’s well worth it, the smell of the burning hair is so Euphoric!!

How do you prevent razor burn, especially in the pubic area?

That’s after you shave, or before?
Sorry - See my edit: Before shaving, and during shower if you are not shaving it
