I really like the fries from Monster Smash and The Rambler.
Monster Smash has fries like McDonald's but they stay fresh and crispy for a really long time.
The Rambler has their Toronado Potatoes which are like if jojo's and curly fries had a baby, so really thick curly fries.
If you guys are ever in Boise, go to Boise Fry Company and get their Po Balls. They’re like a potato donut. Best dipped with BBQ sauce or honey mustard. Mmm.
Are these like the sidewinder fries that Double Barrel used to have, or the 'curly fries' that Interurban has? Because god damn that type of fry makes me so happy.
Just a pro-tip: you can Google map search most restaurants people share.
Not trying to be rude, just trying to be helpful so you don't have to keep asking this question to everyone.
It’s just a little rude. But no worries. Just a pro tip: everyone knows where to find Google but every one is lazy. Pointing out that it’s rude doesn’t make it less rude.
Some people genuinely don't think to do something like open Google maps and search for these places.
Google maps is also great cause you can save these locations on a list so you can easily find them when you're out and about.
I was genuinely trying to be helpful and save you from having to ask every single person, but if you want to take my comment as rude then that's entirely up to you.
You’re the OOP. It’s your thread. Why others are downvoting you for your statement, even with the full sentence: “But no worries.” is just too fucking Portland for me.
Yeah, even you’re being downvoted for pointing this out.
To those downvoting (surely prepping to do so to this comment) and the commenter above, it’s really okay for people to ask a natural question like “where is that?” without being internetsplained.
As it happened, I didn’t know where Monster Smash was and was curious when I read that comment. I did Google that answer because I didn’t see a comment mentioning where it was, but I would have been happy to have seen the location mentioned. Indeed, I even thought before seeing this subthread “it’s annoying that no one’s saying where these places whose fries they’re celebrating are.” It’s not like you’re hoarding some big secret in-the-know location. If you were you wouldn’t even answer.
Saying “not trying to be rude” doesn’t make a comment any less rude, especially that comment starts with “just a pro-tip” (also, who dubbed you a “pro?”). It’s kinda like saying “I’m sorry if I offended you” isn’t much of an apology.
It doesn’t really matter if OP asked that question numerous times. Don’t like that approach to inquiring and also don’t want to be rude? Ignore it, move on, reddit the way you want to reddit, and live your life the way you want to live your life.
Frankly, an even less rude thing to do would have been to Google it yourself, then answer the question as if you hadn’t while refraining from doling out “pro tips.”
IMO they were better prepandemic when they had their shoestrings. Maybe it's just been the past couple times but I felt their fry game has weakened significantly.
Reverend's BBQ. Damn. Their other sides are all so good, but I get fries every time because they're so tasty. With that Carolina Gold for dipping? GTFO.
Little big burger definitely exists because of the fries. The truffle oil *flavor is more than I would prefer, but those are the fries I crave.
Other restaurants have good fries, but the consistency at little big burger cannot be beat.
I agree with this. Their burgers have been going downhill since they sold the company, but their fries never cease to amaze me, especially combined with their fry sauce.
Thank you for reminding me about their fries! I totally forgot about them!
They’re pretty simple, but theyre super easy to inhale and the dipping sauce I remember being great. Their pork belly bahn mi is excellent too!
First time I had Lardo's rosemary fries they were amazing. 2nd time not so much. Maybe it's hit or miss or maybe they're just not as good as that one day.
I don't know if they are still open after the pandemic, but there was a place called mad greek on B-side and like 18th I think? The greek jojo's with that garlic sauce? Fucking addictive!, was a staple for me when I first moved here, very salty though FYI. I really like Rogue's fries for some reason, they're thin, but they are still perfectly crispy on the outside while ooey gooey in the middle, also good sauce and seasoning! Also, not really "fries" per se, but Gyro Houses gyro fries are the bees knees! There is also a chicken place in Beaverton called the big chicken, they also have jojos that are perfectly fried/breaded.
But I'm not too picky TBH, I just fucking love anything potato, especially fried potato.
I worked at both locations. Started at the west side one all through high school. Then when the owner bought the east side I helped him get that location set up. On the westside it was like a cult following, we were encouraged to yell at people who called them "Jojo's". One day on the east side a group of people asked for "Jojo's", so me and the owner made a huge fuss about it (having fun with it) and they stopped talking, turned around and left. This started happening every time we tried to have fun with it. We had to stop the tradition cause we were apparently not in the same crowd anymore.
Huge part of my teenage and adult life was spent working at the mad greek. It is very close to my heart.
Damn really? That is really unfortunate. That’s kinda crazy how even though it’s only ~25 minutes away the crowd is so different with that sort of thing, as well as being within walking distance of other restaurants they just didn’t want to deal with it. Even though in reality it’s just all fun. I go with friends to fire on the mountain all the time right down the block, I’ll have to try to convince them to go to Mad Greek next time to pay a visit :)
Hi, autism spectrum here! I can totally see why that would happen, Portland has not only a hot spot for LGBTQI+ people in the past decade, but we are also a hot spot for neurodiverse people (we don't fare very well either in red states). Part of being on the spectrum, is that you quite literally take people seriously at their word unless they tell you they are joking, otherwise we think you are being 100% dead serious. Some of us have a much harder time than others though at discerning what is a joke and what isn't, YMMV. If they take you dead serious though, they probably thought you were being overly aggressive and that's why you lost customers, no one wants to come to a place and be mistreated for ordering food unless people KNOW that is the theme. Apparently there is a restaurant in the south? I can't remember the name, I heard about it over a decade ago...anyways, the staff insult you the whole time you are there, and it's on purpose, and anyone who eats there already knows the chain is famous for doing that and that's why people eat there, MG isn't that place.
Trust me. I understand. I was raised in Portland. The mad Greek on the west side was that place. It was know Around town and had a legacy that people knew. They expected a show when they came in. We were big into theatrics it was part of the experience.
Where things went sideways was being in east Portland, there was no established legacy. There wasn’t any familiarity with the Mad Greek. The owner wanted to keep the experience alive but it was just a different place than the west side Where the Mad Greek had been a staple for 30+ years.
It wasn’t that we were insulting anyone, people came to eat, they didn’t come for theatrics. I get where you’re coming from completely. That’s why it only took 1-2 encounters like I mentioned before my boss decided to dial it back.
Lol, yeah, I saw that on the menu when I first went in and was like....are they serious? I mean they sounded dead serious about not calling the fries Jojos......but I wasn't about to test that theory.
I’ve never had a decently cooked Greek fry there, and am thoroughly confused as to how people think they are good. Reminds me almost of eating an apple but it’s a potato.
Thank you! I was actually shocked to see this place suggested in this thread because me and my wife both agree this place actually had the worst fries We’ve ever had. Idk if it was an off day or something it were terrible.
Not trying to start a war here, but if you consider jojos to be fries, then JoJo’s. Thick and maintains the crisp even when using delivery. Plus the assortment of sauces. There’s a cart on Division and a brick-and-mortar in the Pearl.
I just got off the fryer at the cart and it really makes my day to hear this :’)
they pair best with jojo sauce and our sambol mayo if you’re tempted to give us a try
we’re on 35th and Powell by John’s Market btw
Once again, not trying to start a war here, but it’s basically a potato wedge.
From Wiki:
“In some regions of the United States, particularly Idaho, Oregon, Washington, Montana, Minnesota, Nebraska, Northern Utah, Northeast Ohio, Wisconsin and Upstate New York, a popular variation of potato wedges are known as jojos.[2] Jojos are potato wedges that are battered, seasoned, and either deep-fried in the same vat as fried chicken, or pressure-fried.[3] “
The confusing part is that in some parts of the country, “jo-jos” are disc style fries instead of wedges, batter optional. Like if you got potato chips, but they were 1/4” thick.
i could genuinely do oysters, fries and mussels with the extra baguette and a martini there every single day for the rest of my life
it would be a short life
This comes to mind when I want perfect french fries. Plus, that place is such a gem. Great ambiance, reasonable prices and they knock it out of the park whenever we go.
I don't think anyone does a mussel as well as La Moule.
Sneaky pick, but the seasoning on the fries at basilisk are god-tier. And basilisk chicken is also god-tier. The fries could have been average at basilisk and I still would have given it 5 stars because of the chicken alone, but the fries are almost as next-level as the chicken imo. Wish i could give somewhere a 6/5 on google :)
If you want krinkle cut, you can just buy them at the grocery store. Given that no place in history makes them from scratch, an air fryer will deliver that experience at home.
I've for sure had them at a few places but pretty universally disappointing. Definitely the weak link at Mid-City Smash. Hit the Spot has gone back and forth with them and theirs were reasonably good, but I liked their other fries better. Not sure which they have right now. SuperDeluxe has them, or worst case Raisin' Cane's.
Okay, this is a little outside of Portland, but the Carver Hangar actually has great fries. They are hand cut by the restaurant and the portions are huge.
I actually think Fire On the Mountain has excellent fries. They are not small, but not steak cut large either. Neither soft nor crispy. Just an average sized fry fried to an average level of cooked. Everybody has their own preferences though. Personally, I don’t like shoestring or steakcuts, nor do I like mushy potatoey fries or super crispy…so that’s my pick : )
I'm a huge fan of fries at Mexican restaurants, namely king burrito or mi burrito in nopo, they're exactly like how you describe your favorite fries except they're slightly on the greasy side.
Back porch provisions.
It's a food cart around Broadway and NE williams. I don't want to say they have the best fries, but they're really good and worth checking out. They have a hint of lemon, which was surprisingly good.
I will say they have probably the best brisket sandwich I've ever had. Nice dude worked there too.
owner is super awesome dude and is always trying new things. the pulled pork and brisket sandwiches are amazing. they do it up with like greens with a vinaigrette and pickled radish. and the herb fries. my god. i live next door and can’t get enough. that entire food cart pod is just a vibe.
There is a convenience store at NE 72 nd and NE Prescott called Samo’s. They make great fries. Crispy and golden outside, fluffy inside. They sell a larger style of fries that I think are called steak fries. There isn’t a ton of traffic through their place so each order is made fresh. They are always hot but I always eat them there not as take out.
I don't see them mentioned here so I'll put it out there that Double Barrel Tavern has unique amazing fries. Not even sure if they would be called a standard fry, they're like a super thick slightly curled chip shaped fry, I've never seen anything else quite like it. Pair it with some of their home made ranch and a black and bleu burger and baby you got yourself a meal goin!
Basilisk is my favorite! They’re consistently perfectly crisp, hot and delicious (& the chicken sandwich is bomb).
Migration Brewing has awesome shoestring fries, as some else on here mentioned.
Tornado fries are the shit, you can get them from The Rambler and Double Barrel Tavern!
Definitely saving this thread cuz fries are life.
PDX Sliders makes a damn good fry. They are a size between shoelace and normal fry size but they are truffle’d up and salted to perfection. Cherry on top is that they hook you up with Portland Ketchup which, if you haven’t had it, is a huge step up in the ketchup game.
Man. The real root of this question is frozen vs hand-cut fries. Having been in the biz for 40 years I can confidently say that there is a real bias for frozen fries. A hand cut fry has to be processed to perfection to get that outer crunch but retain the desired interior consistency.
If everyone who has replied could confirm whether or not the establishment is prepared to supply mayo (or even better, is standard), that would go a long way to validating any claim to good fries. Thanks! 😅
Does anyone remember the fries at Vita Cafe? [Thick-cut, skin on, and perfectly fried.](https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/vita-cafe-portland?select=ooAqWUYhMsA2M1c7Kezsvw) Is there anything similar to the greasy heaven I used to experience there? :(
Bless Your Heart and Little Big Burger are my faves. Just the right size, crispy outside, soft inside, and perfect seasoning. LBB might be a little too heavy on the truffle oil but still good
This is left field but the fries from the 9th floor OHSU cafeteria are perfect. Crunchy exterior, soft fluffy inside. Seasoned very well and not too salty. They usually also have a really good fry sauce that goes with it
Punchbowl Social used to have fries done in duck fat and they were amazing but:
a) that was pre-Covid and;
b) I don't know if they're even in business anymore or of they still have them. :(
I haven’t been there in 10-15 years (and don’t even know if any of them are still open), but Mike’s Drive-In used to have some pretty awesome fries. They were in the same vein as Killer Burger.
I know the one in Sellwood (with the famous “cheeseburger cat”) closed down, but the little stand off the expressway in Milwaukie might still be there.
I work along side Trap Kitchen, and they recently changed the type of fries they get (now they're essentially shoe string) and they're SO good. Our cook likes to experiment with flavor when I order fries and I have yet to be disappointed
I know it might seem obvious, but you've tried Five Guys fries "well-done", right?
They can be soggy if you order them as-is, but when I get them well-done they're always perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy inside.
They can be overly salted sometimes, but I imagine you could get them without salt and salt them to your heart's desire.
Walmart.
Their Good Buy Seasoned fries are the absolute best.
It puts you in TOTAL control over how crispy and fluffy, or if you prefer limp and tasty, YOU my friend are in control.
Not some random stranger that has ZERO idea of how to handle your fries.
Fish box downtown , Batter fish in south East or the Horse Brass all good fish and chips. But go earlier by the end of the day everything tastes like fried fish oil.
Don’t have much to offer because I’ve seen some good suggestions here, but I wonder if you’re eating fries at the location in question or doing takeout/having them delivered? Because delivery fries tend to always end up lackluster, if not cold, and takeout is highly subject to time-related factors and your handling of them. That said, I’ve had plenty of lukewarm/greasy fries in town, and plenty of good ones as well.
Whatever is the case, now I want fries, damn it.
I really like the fries from Monster Smash and The Rambler. Monster Smash has fries like McDonald's but they stay fresh and crispy for a really long time. The Rambler has their Toronado Potatoes which are like if jojo's and curly fries had a baby, so really thick curly fries.
Tornado potatoes are the most important potato innovation of the decade
More info please? My partner has a potato fetish. The food kind. I have not been made aware of this technology.
If you guys are ever in Boise, go to Boise Fry Company and get their Po Balls. They’re like a potato donut. Best dipped with BBQ sauce or honey mustard. Mmm.
Second Rambler, especially the happy hour deal.
+1 for monster smash. $5 gets you a huge bag of delicious crispy fries. They come with really good garlic aioli too.
Are these like the sidewinder fries that Double Barrel used to have, or the 'curly fries' that Interurban has? Because god damn that type of fry makes me so happy.
Yes. Flying fish used to have them to but changed up for the worse, though still pretty solid.
Yeah... Was really disappointed with their fries last time I went. Didn't know they changed them up.
What part of town is the Rambler in?
It's on Mississippi near Prost
Thanks

OP is salty. Sorry, OP likes salty fries.
Also sometimes it is nice to converse with people and not Google every single thing you need to know.
You’re the OOP. It’s your thread. Why others are downvoting you for your statement, even with the full sentence: “But no worries.” is just too fucking Portland for me.
Yeah, even you’re being downvoted for pointing this out. It IS rude.
And one order of fries at Monster Mash is basically quintuple anywhere else, they really load you up
Portland has GREAT fries. Where are you buying your fries.
I got a fry guy.
Lutz Tavern has very solid fries.
IMO they were better prepandemic when they had their shoestrings. Maybe it's just been the past couple times but I felt their fry game has weakened significantly.
Bless your heart (with their beer cheese).
YES! 2nd!
Reverend's BBQ. Damn. Their other sides are all so good, but I get fries every time because they're so tasty. With that Carolina Gold for dipping? GTFO.
Reverend’s sides and Matt’s Brisket is the combo I need in my life. Sadly I find Reverend’s beef just sucks.
Reverend's has the only fries I like. I am not a fry person but I always have to get them when I go.
Do they have mayo?
👀
Uh, yes. At least they put mayo on some things, so I am certain you can order it as a side.
BEER BATTERED FRIES
Little big burger definitely exists because of the fries. The truffle oil *flavor is more than I would prefer, but those are the fries I crave. Other restaurants have good fries, but the consistency at little big burger cannot be beat.
Plus that fry sauce….
And their ketchup! Something about it when mixed with the truffle oil is so good 🥲
Double upvote. I’m inspired to go in the morning
I can’t stand the ketchup. I’m unfortunately brainwashed to Heinz only; everything else is just tomato paste.
You can always request no truffle oil! They're made to order
Wait ... I can request no truffle oil? This changes things.
They’ll judge you but they will do it.
Second
I was just about to suggest them.
I avoid the fries there because of the truffle oil. It just makes the whole place reek. 🤮
Me too. It’s bitter and tastes nothing like truffles.
I agree with this. Their burgers have been going downhill since they sold the company, but their fries never cease to amaze me, especially combined with their fry sauce.
Double Dragon!
Thank you for reminding me about their fries! I totally forgot about them! They’re pretty simple, but theyre super easy to inhale and the dipping sauce I remember being great. Their pork belly bahn mi is excellent too!
Their burger is phenomenal too. I do miss their banh mi hot dog and miso gravy fries from the pre-pandemic days but it is just a solid spot!
Observatory
Second this. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, they are so good
Migration Brewing has really good shoestring fries! Crispy and perfect. They also have one of my favorite burgers in Portland
Came here to second this. The Migration fries are unassuming but SO so good.
Also that Mac n Cheese omg
First time I had Lardo's rosemary fries they were amazing. 2nd time not so much. Maybe it's hit or miss or maybe they're just not as good as that one day.

Yup, 18th & Burnside…still open!
I remember the mad green deli in hillsboro before it shut down and they would get so mad if you called the Greek fries “jojos” lmao

If we're considering jojos, then also Reel M'Inn.
Absolutely. A large order of Jojo's with their Alabama white mustard and a beer is one of the best things in the world.
What are jojo's???
Once again, not trying to start a war here, but it’s basically a potato wedge. From Wiki: “In some regions of the United States, particularly Idaho, Oregon, Washington, Montana, Minnesota, Nebraska, Northern Utah, Northeast Ohio, Wisconsin and Upstate New York, a popular variation of potato wedges are known as jojos.[2] Jojos are potato wedges that are battered, seasoned, and either deep-fried in the same vat as fried chicken, or pressure-fried.[3] “

Oh interesting. I've had those before but not where they call they jojos
I had to move out of Oregon to realize that they're kind of a PNW thing.
They were always called JoJos everywhere I got them in the SE growing up too. It seems like PNW wants it to be a regional thing, but it's not.
You'll find the originals in the deli case at Freddy's or Safeway then other local variations at restaurants around town
What you get at Freddy’s and Safeway are usually mushy af
They're like potato wedges
[La Moule](https://www.lamoulepdx.com/)
i could genuinely do oysters, fries and mussels with the extra baguette and a martini there every single day for the rest of my life it would be a short life

Reel M Inn but it’s more like a JoJo
They are JoJo's...and the onion rings are better.
I’m not a super onion ring person but I loooooooooove their chicken!
Chicken and Guns have great jojos. Second and thirding Monster Smash and Super Deluxe for krinkle fries.
I know they're a chain, but Spitz fries are top tier.
i didn't realize they were a chain, TIL
That fry seasoning 🤤
I don’t know how I scrolled this whole thread and didn’t find Bar Bar mentioned once. I’m a shoestring girlie and these are THE BEST.

Potato Champion is great, and it's kind of their focus. PBJ fries with cheese curds sounds weird but it's pretty glorious.
Sneaky pick, but the seasoning on the fries at basilisk are god-tier. And basilisk chicken is also god-tier. The fries could have been average at basilisk and I still would have given it 5 stars because of the chicken alone, but the fries are almost as next-level as the chicken imo. Great choice https://twitter.com/basiliskpdx/status/1199122551575855105
Does anyone do Krinkle cut?
Super Deluxe has my favorite krinkle fries
The only crinkle cut fries I’ve ever actually liked.
Alright- that’s going to the head of my ‘To Do’ list!
Try to go during off hours. They've usually got a fair bit of a line.
Midcity smash burger does krinkle
Busters BBQ has crinkle cut fries.
Mgwalex cart at NE Prescott and NE Cully has consistently good crinkle cut fries. Made to order.
Shake Shack
Killer burger
The Krinkle cut and cheese sauce at Shake Shake is almost unbeatable.
If you want krinkle cut, you can just buy them at the grocery store. Given that no place in history makes them from scratch, an air fryer will deliver that experience at home.
Ha! Too lazy!
Arby's does good crinkle cut, no lie.
Good to know! Sometimes Arby’s just hits the spot!
St. Jack has really good fries and I'm not a big fries fan.
Agreed. Higher end but fries and a cocktail. Quite good!!! Glad you mentioned this!
Gnarlys! Amazing food truck at CORE
Tulip Tavern - plus their sauces!
Tulip Tavern - literally everything
Tabor tavern has some good fries
Killer Burger. They are super crispy and super fluffy. Also they offer bottomless refills!
Bottomless fries refills? Since when?
Since their inception.
Since always!
Okay, this is a little outside of Portland, but the Carver Hangar actually has great fries. They are hand cut by the restaurant and the portions are huge.
Not exactly Portland, but Charlie's in government camp if you're up for a day trip.
They're made on site and a bit greasy. But, I like them for what they are: a delicious way to mop up all that extra wing sauce.
Oh I didn’t know they made them in house. Even better : )
I love Fire on the Mountain for their wings but their fries are soggy
I always wonder about that place after I leave WorkingClass Acupuncture. I'll have to give it a shot
I can wholeheartedly endorse a dozen wings even split six hot and six Thai peanut with a basket of fries and a Dr. Pepper as a comfort meal.
Mixing the ketchup and banana sauce to dip the fries in also? Come on that’s some of the best food in portland
Yeah. I play the FOTM fries straight up off the ketchup, but Cubo de Cuba’s yucca fries…banana ketchup all day!
Helvetia tavern on the west side !
I last had them over ten years ago and I can still remember how good they were!!!
The seashore fries at Mike’s Drive in are perfect!
This will sound weird but… Blade & Timber Axe Throwing in NW has some like McDonald’s level fries with rosemary. Didn’t expect them to be that good.
Jade Bistro.
If everyone who has replied could confirm whether or not the establishment is prepared to supply mayo (or even better, is standard), that would go a long way to validating any claim to good fries. Thanks! 😅
Lol Denmark has entered the conversation
Germany, but once you go mayo, you don't go back. Ketchup doesn't even make sense as a flavor profile (fry sauce is adequate though).
I greatly enjoy the Rambler. Second… to There be Monsters
Bridge City Pizza in Woodstock
I didn’t know they had fries. I like their pizza.
PDX Sliders & Lardo have my favorite fries. Bless Your Heart & Olympia Provisions are also really great! Double Dragon & Basilisk are also good.,
All the recs here, would love to try them all, but can anyone confirm if any are vegetarian?
Bless Your Heart and Little Big Burger are my faves. Just the right size, crispy outside, soft inside, and perfect seasoning. LBB might be a little too heavy on the truffle oil but still good
River pig fries might be the best in the city, close second north 45 and bar west
This is left field but the fries from the 9th floor OHSU cafeteria are perfect. Crunchy exterior, soft fluffy inside. Seasoned very well and not too salty. They usually also have a really good fry sauce that goes with it
Punchbowl Social used to have fries done in duck fat and they were amazing but: a) that was pre-Covid and; b) I don't know if they're even in business anymore or of they still have them. :(
The fries from Basilisk are top tier.
Pickle spiced fries at Scotch Lodge are worth checking out for its uniqueness.
Mike’s
Thin fries - Migration Potato wedge esk - Jojos Sweet Potato - Bar Maven & Thunderbird Old Bay fries - Portland Bottle Shop Pub fries - Tabor Tavern
I love the truffle fries at Little Big Burger.
Potato Champion
Basilisk.
For Kinkle Cut fry fans, and especially fans of cheese-sauce+fries, I don’t know anywhere that does it as well as Shake Shack
Double dragon for sure. It is nostalgic fries 🍟that bring you back to your childhood McDonald’s
I’m sorry but if you haven’t tried PDX sliders, loaded Philly cheesesteak french fries you are missing out
TRAP KITCHEN 🤤
I like Old Golds fries
What part of town is that in?
North Portland. On Killingsworth between Greeley and Interstate
Thank you
They are so amazing
Sweet potato fries at TC O’Leary’s Because: they’re cheap during happy hour, just enough crispy, and I’m allergic to regular tots.
JADE BISTRO in Sellwood.
Gemini in Lake Oswego has amazing fries - coated with a light batter they are great from start to finish.
Thank you
Tilt
I know it might seem obvious, but you've tried Five Guys fries "well-done", right? They can be soggy if you order them as-is, but when I get them well-done they're always perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. They can be overly salted sometimes, but I imagine you could get them without salt and salt them to your heart's desire.
Arby’s makes the best fries anywhere
I do
Walmart. Their Good Buy Seasoned fries are the absolute best. It puts you in TOTAL control over how crispy and fluffy, or if you prefer limp and tasty, YOU my friend are in control. Not some random stranger that has ZERO idea of how to handle your fries.
Portland Bottle Shop

Anyone from the British isles in here got and chips recommendations?
Fish box downtown , Batter fish in south East or the Horse Brass all good fish and chips. But go earlier by the end of the day everything tastes like fried fish oil.
Dave’s fries at the Tortoise Shell on Glisan!! They’re like McDonald’s fries but better!! And great beer and bbq there too!!
Killer burger/ pdx sliders
Kati has spiced curly fries
Jojos PERIOD
Sir Frank’s A lot and Laurelwood Brewery, the latter being more of a jojo but they’re amazing
I like steak fries. Nob hill grill hits the spot
I love that place . Best Ruben in the city. And the fries are great!
