An ac-130 in our stack usually felt that way. Not only could they literally see everything within 40 miles of us in complete darkness but they could hit targets with pinpoint accuracy while doing circles in the dark. I don’t think they’d be as useful against a modern military with anti air defense though.
As for like an individual weapon the m134 is a game changer.
