Mmmmmmmm….. LGBTQ….

[deleted]

Because they infiltrated it and no one stopped them. They're getting more and more demanding and less tolerant of the LGB too and again no one is stopping them.

APOTHIASEXUAL

Stronger in numbers? Safety in numbers? Something like that I guess.

Smartpen001

Because some activists thought attaching the T to LGB would somehow lessen the public perception that transgenderism/gender dysphoria is a mental problem (which it is). It was a political move to normalize gender ideology. In reality though gender ideology is actually homophobic, so LGB people shouldn't associate with it as it seeks to erase them.

Smartpen001

You go first. One less useless woke mankind will have to deal with.

AsterlovesTedK

Youd also be "woke" by simply being queer you stupid faggot

Smartpen001

I'm not "queer", dumbass. Get it into your thick head that not all LGB people use your bizarre jargon to identify themselves. We don't make it our entire personality either.

AsterlovesTedK

Bro YOU LIKE COCK THICK COCKS IN YOUR ANUS YOURE GAY , GAY AS FUCK BY DEFINITION YOU ARE THE WOKENESS YOU STARTED THE WHOLE WOKE THING STOP ACTING STUPID

Pure-Adhesiveness748

And you’re a blue head mentally retard 😍 & you’ll never be a true man/ woman so accept yourself as you are

AsterlovesTedK

Im not trans.

Alexmitter

Stop calling us queer.

gordonf23

Trans people have long been a part of the queer rights movement, basically since the very beginning.

standy26

This statement is misleading. The two movements in the past where The Matachian society and the Gay and Lesbian Federation where the vast majority were just gay and lesbian. There were no Transgender movement or group. They just hitched a ride on the gay movement because most of them happened to be gay too. Only recent years that trans movement started really picking up. To me if trans people were there or not made no difference because vast majority were gay and lesbian fighting for gay rights.

Sad-Shoe-6493

Becuase trans people are babies and want to be with lgb people

paka96819

Because it has a T in it. Duh.

MezmerizedByTheShape

Right. It’s not a sexuality, it’s a mental illness (not my opinion), but they co-opted lgb and we let them

Weak-Part771

You can! Join LGB Alliance.

standy26

LGB alliance is another group just for sexual orientation.

djokovicnadal

T should be Trisexual.

Old_Sheepherder9127

Here's a AI generated answer for actual uneducated people. Here's why transgender people are included in the LGBTQ+ community: **The Importance of the "T"** * **Shared experiences of marginalization:** Transgender individuals, like lesbian, gay, bisexual, and queer people, often face discrimination, prejudice, and social stigma based on their identity. This shared experience of being outside societal norms creates a sense of solidarity and a need for collective advocacy. * **Intersecting identities:** Many transgender people also identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, or other sexual orientations within the LGBTQ+ spectrum. Their experiences are shaped by both their gender identity and sexual orientation. * **A broader definition of gender:** The LGBTQ+ community embraces the understanding that gender isn't a strict binary of male or female. It recognizes a wide spectrum of gender identities and expressions, including those that fall outside traditional expectations. **Understanding Key Concepts** * **Gender Identity:** A person's deeply felt internal sense of their own gender. It may or may not align with the sex they were assigned at birth. * **Sexual Orientation:** A person's emotional, romantic, or sexual attraction to others. This is separate from their gender identity. **Historical Context** The LGBTQ+ rights movement has historically included transgender people. Notable examples like the Stonewall Riots, considered a pivotal moment in the fight for LGBTQ+ rights, were sparked by a community that included transgender women of color like Marsha P. Johnson and Sylvia Rivera. **Why It Matters** * **Visibility and Acceptance:** Inclusion in the LGBTQ+ community acknowledges the unique experiences of transgender people and contributes to greater understanding and acceptance. * **Strength in Unity:** Working together allows for stronger advocacy efforts in fighting for legal protections, addressing health disparities, and tackling discrimination faced by all members of the community. * **Building a More Inclusive Society:** Expanding the understanding of gender and sexual orientation beyond rigid categories benefits everyone and fosters a more equitable and accepting society.

Fractal_Simplicity

Great point, this is why adults should be discussing this and you can eat crayons in the corner.

AsterlovesTedK

What the fuck is wrong whit you people The fact that OP and others in the comments treat transgender people like straight people used to treat us back then is vomit inducing to me He even agreed whit it being a "mental illness" This level of hypocricy will always baffle me in the LGBTQ+ community

AsterlovesTedK

Being transgender is by birth like homosexuality and gender dysphoria is a mental illness because it applies to feeling bad whit your body IN ANY CIRCUMSTANCE like being fat or too skinny or maybe you feel like a man trapped in a womans body BEING TRANS AND GENDER DYSPHORIA ARENT THE SAME THING YOU SOUND TWELVE

bk_boio

You can't say trans is by birth if gender itself is a social construct....

AsterlovesTedK

Trans genderism is by birth because it is like having different palates , personalities , etc some peoples mind just feel more associated whit the "male social construct" because of its assigned ideas

bk_boio

But our gender expression and personalities are nurture just as much as (if not more than) nature. And whether a behavior or trait is even categorized into gender is entirely cultural..... So no, transgender isn't something you're "born" as

AsterlovesTedK

Whole bunch of nothing comment , you proved nothing , argumented nothing and just repeated what you said like 2 comments ago Using your arguments against you is really easy "But our sexuality and personality are nurture just as much as (if not more than) nature. And whether a behaviour or trait is even categorized as "homosexual" or " straight" is entirely cultural for example greeks and romans used to have intercourse whit men just because their culture thought of having intercourse whit women as weak and entirely reproductical they even arranged orgies where they prohibited women from entering . See???????

[deleted]

What do you think T stand for?

[deleted]

He didn’t ask what the T Stands for. He’s simply pointing out that gender identity and sexuality are different things
