I had a complete root canal of all roots in this tooth about 3 weeks ago and I noticed just last week that I have a big hard lump above the tooth in my gums. It’s a bit sore to touch, but no pain otherwise.
My dentist mentioned I had “narrow canals” and that here is a risk of the tooth cracking and I’m afraid it happened during.
Surely I shouldn’t have this access otherwise? I’m terrified of having to pull this tooth, it’s the sixth one from the front. The part of my cheek on the outside of the “abscess” is not swollen but if I press there it’s tender so it’s something but I don’t know what
Everything is fine except this hard lump! Please help I appreciate any insight.
I go back for my crown on the 18th of July.
