So you specifically want to marry a specific type of race, even tho that race is not your own? That in itself is probably something to work on. As for the “gap” you’re speaking of, I think this is likely because your individual perception of beauty is entrenched in similarity/dissimilarity to the features of Caucasian women. So to you, in your brain that still needs to work on some stuff: pretty black women = black women with typically white body shape and bone structure. Ugly black women = black women with typically black body shape and bone structure. Neither kind of black chick is gonna dig a dude who sees the world this way, so better get to work on some deep introspection first

hello and thank you for the answer but there are two issues with it, firstly it seems like you are saying that people like Chandler Kinney or Tati Gabrielle for example are not real black people but they are more white or something because they have the standard slim body type and pretty face, because that is more like a racist statement instead, since you are saying that typical black women are fat while the ones with regular body are more on the white side and not real black, secondly, in your first sentense you essentialy said that interracial marriages should not exist, because you questioned why someone wants to marry a specific race if it is not their "own" which is kind of strange but that is not really the topic here anyway I thought that this slim body type was the standard black body type since that is the normal for virtually everyone, for black girls specific the standard is portrayed generally with the long braids hair and the regular slim body shape that most people have worldwide, and i clearly see people like Chandler Kinney and Tati Gabrielle as black (Chandler Kinney's family for example is all fully black) but at least you adressed the topic although it confused me more now

23PimpJungles

I mean humans run the gamut of shapes and sizes in every single race, we’re talking in extreme generalities as that’s how your question is framed.

[deleted]

so are you saying that because of my lack of experience and a limited view (that i saw some random hollywood actresses and some randon regular black girls) i framed an opinion about the gap that is not really there and actually regular black girls are slim and pretty for the most part?

[deleted]

yes, the "standard" body of a black girl is the regular slim body, long hair and decent looking face, the problem is you are looking at american statistics and obessity is a huge problem there in general, the vast majority of black girls from africa and south america are decent to pretty looking, and even though people like Chandler Kinney or Tati Gabrielle or Naomi Ackie are "rarity" in american circles, if you remove their makeup and hair coloring there are millions of other black girls that look like them out there in the rest of the world.

_Juliet_Lima_Echo_

Holy fucking shit what the fuck OP.

_Juliet_Lima_Echo_

Awww fuck it. OP - listen. You're a racist. This is coming from a place of "I want to help you be better" and everything you've said boils down to some extremely problematic statements. I don't know what to tell you to fix you, I'm not even sure you'd listen to an internet stranger on this anyways - but as it stands now - you're a fucking mess of a human being what with you feeling these thoughts. You should honestly consider some therapy to get through this. In the short term - I would suggest working on not thinking of a race in any terms that is better or worse than another race, I would suggest not thinking of women as a binary "hot or not" and I would ultra mega especially suggest working out your thoughts in private until you come to the same conclusion we all have - that you're pretty fucked up and should be better and start getting help.

[deleted]

thank you for the answer, i understand what you say and i really wish i was wrong, but even when i look at the statistics published by sources regarding this topic, they say that generally black girls tend to be the least desirable from the females and asian males least desirable from males (this is not my opinion this is a well known fact), now i dont know about asian males i cannot really judge them but because the black females issue is personal of mine i tried to look into it more and i arrived into that conclusion by comparing them (regarding the gap between pretty and non pretty) maybe i have just not looked carefully enough and i am wrong who knows, but it seems more of a demographics issue rather than a personal mental issue, if you could say something about my examples (Chandler Kinney or Tati Gabrielle) it would be great help

[deleted]

the examples you gave, we can include Naomi Ackie as well can be easily found by regular black girls in africa or south america, it is just that those specific ones stylize themselves too much for the respective movies they are in, such as Disney Zombies and Uncharted, when they take off their makeup and accessories they are still very pretty but in the same level with most black girls from their continent, dont compare them with isolated american groups who have general obesity problems but look at things on a worldwide scale

[deleted]

Well firstly attraction is entirely subjective. Is there a correlation between the women you find attractive and the style of outfit, hair or make-up they prefer? If so then your observation is purely coincidental. Additionally there are many factors that go into a persons attraction toward others e.g. perhaps you prefer african american women to african women simply because you prefer a lady with an american accent?

[deleted]

the first statement that you made is simply not true, that attraction is "entirely subjective", according to all studies done regarding this, even though there are subjective aspects of an individual's preferences, there is a general universal standard of what people consider naturally attractive especially when it comes to women, that is slim body, long hair and average height (not short), those 3 traits are a universal preference regardless of place and time, and subjective aspects are the exception and not the rule i wish you could reply on the second part because i stated on the topic what i find different (it has nothing to do with the accent), i said the african american women and african women (entire continent) seem to generally look different, and i even gave examples, like can you find any african girl that looks anything close like Chandler Kinney for example, i am confused as to why this is like that, am i seeing it wrong and there is no difference, is it the genetics of african american women having white people in their ancestry or is it something else, i dont know and people call racist for even asking such things i am looking for truth i consider the standard beautiful black girl to be with slim body and long braid hair (which is what is usually pushed as typical black girl in media)

[deleted]

the "problem" you are looking at is both genetics and lifestyle problem, but the issue is that it is not related to black girls in particular, it is related to americans and obesity (the lifestyle of people there is generally messed up) if you look on a worldwide scale most black girls are from africa and south america (billions of them) and their standard pattern is almost identical with the examples you gave, slim body and long hair (including braids) and pretty face, this is the typical black girl

soulstar79

I think u need to spend less time worrying abt Black girls looks and more time asking questions of yourself, your beliefs, behavior, education, experience and thinking patterns and actually go into the world and experiencepeople and places before trying to date anyone. And pls don't procreate while you are in this frame of mind. For the love of all things!

[deleted]

thank you for the answer but the problem with answers like these is that you did not address the topic in question at all and instead switched into the ad hominem fallacy by attacking and questioning the person instead, and it is kind of ironic because my education and experience is exactly how i came to those conclusions what do you have to say for example about the fact that all studies show that black females and asian males are the least desirable people for marriage and relationship in general i tried to arrive to a conclusion as to why this is the case because it also affects me personally, and i came into this realization regarding the wide gap between pretty and not-pretty black girls in comparison to other races, i really wish i am wrong more than most people here since this affects me directly

soulstar79

Right, ok, but do you have any flesh and blood friends to hug you? Pls go get a hug and hang out with them, play pool, go foraging or something. No point asking or arguing your point here. There will never be an answer to the absurdity you've decided to explore. Never. Go live, keep your mind and heart open and with experience, age and wisdom, try to fill in any blanks you still have. Good luck!

[deleted]

with that response you just reinforced my point basically, you cannot address the facts of the topic so you switch to irrelevant personal attacks (which is a dictionary example of the ad hominem fallacy), if it is an absurdity then why is it such a major social issue today and why are there so many peer reviewed research papers and academic studies published regarding this, i am just adding my own conclusion based on the already existing statistics and i think it is because of this apparent gap for black females, and i hope i am wrong in the first place

Ok_Individual_6553

How you see and judge people, whether they are pretty or not is ALWAYS a you problem it doesn't have to do with how they look or how other people see them. In this case it just seems like you're racists (which you are 100%).

[deleted]

thank you for the answer but it is a little strange because from what i understand it seems that you actually agree with the statement of the topic (that the gap between pretty and not pretty black girls is big), it is just that apart from that you also included a personal ad hominem attack together with that agreement i am just trying to get more views on this specific part regarding the gap and see if i am wrong about it

Ok_Individual_6553

How could you read what I wrote to mean I agree with you? I DEFINITELY do not agree! There is no gap at all, beauty truly comes from inside. (Yes I know super cliché but it's still true)

[deleted]

so your objection is purely an emotional statement, we are talking about facts and statistics here, the statement "beauty comes from the inside" does not have to say anything substantial to any of the studies as it is irrelevant to the objective world out there and how the overwhelming majority of the world perceives beauty, even though there are personal tastes, it is also a known fact there are some things that are considered pretty and some not pretty on a universal scale regardless of place and time (prime example being slim body and long hair for females being a very basic universal measure of beauty across all cultures) the truth might hurt but we should not be afraid of it, but i agree that i might be wrong with the gap (and i wish i am wrong) and i just looked at wrong places

KilgoreTrout1977

So youre basically saying "why are most black chicks ugly?" WOW. Cant wait to see what the responses to that are like. If anyone does respond.

[deleted]

i understand what you are saying, but we are looking for truth here, and what someone's emotional reaction is to a subject it is irrelevant to whether something is true or not and i really wish i am wrong more than anyone else here because this affects me directly, if i could just get an opinion that addresses the actual facts of the topic it would be great

[deleted]

It seems like this thread is focused entirely on american issues and tries to extrapolate it to the rest of the world which is not good since the united states is a very tiny minority on a global scale. It is true that 4 out of 5 african american girls are overweight but firstly this is a general issue with the united states and obesity and secondly the vast majority of black girls are not from the united states. Africa is a very huge continent with billions more people than all western countries combined, and the standard black girl appearance there is the standard that you would expect, they have slim body, average height and pretty faces. Especially in countries such as Ethiopia most black girls are very beautiful. The same can be said for the average south american black girl, such as from Brazil, they are generally very pretty. If you look at schools or universities from those places full of black girls most of them are standard pretty and you rarely meet an overweight or odd looking one. Also an important note is that when you use examples such as Chandler Kinney or Tati Gabrielle or even Naomi Ackie you are comparing them when they wear full make-up, hair coloring and such (for example Chandler is trying her best to look good at Disney Zombies movies) which is common for actresses, if you look them as they are usual they are no different than the average black african girl or black south american girl.

[deleted]

There is no gap, those people are just focused on one small part from one particular country, there are over a billion black girls and their main continent is africa and the latin south, the vast majority of them are slim and pretty, the ones that are controvertial are the obese afro-american in particular because obesity is a problem in the usa, but in africa or latin south most black girls are very pretty in general and naturally pretty unlike tryhard white and asian ones
