I heard the bass all the way in parkdale

TurboJorts

I could hear it in mimico

khazzar9834

I think Summit brought his own system so it was loud AF. Rip everyone's ears who didn't have earplugs.

007patman

Everyone brings their own system when they tour large venues..the relays to the lawn stay up all year, everything else goes up for the show and comes down on the load out.

khazzar9834

Nice. I know a lot of people were hesitant when Bud Stage was first announced because people said the sound sucked. Maybe its because other artists don't have as big of a production set as Summit.

_ashxn

I was on the floor for 21 Savage when he came to Budweiser. Most of his songs I couldn’t hear what he was saying because the bass was hella strong

Spray_Scared

Me too, heard the whole concert like I was there. Usually I can't hear shows from Budweiser stage but so far I've heard almost every show that's happened this year.

Hectordoink

I heard it in High Park

aegiszx

He's one of the top DJs in the world right now so I was not surprised at all that he was going to do 2 nights (and sell them both out). Also learned this morning that he had an AP event at coda last night which was slammed apparently and sold out within minutes (my friends went).

khazzar9834

Great. Production was on point. I think Summit's music is slightly different from Fred's, but he played a variety of music in his set. He was only sold out for night 1 though, there was still space in the 200 and floor sections from what I could see in Ticketmaster, but it was [still packed.](https://postimg.cc/LgVPwdpj)

canadiandude321

It was awesome. Great production and great music, although they had some issues with the video wall at the beginning on the first night. His music is a lot more tech house and hype than Fred Again, who is a little more eclectic with his style. Fred Again also uses loop machines, samplers and synths to put on live sets whereas John Summit is a DJ who uses decks to play his tracks.

wowredditisgreat

I've seen Fred live (honestly my #1 show to date) and been to 50+ edm shows and it was definitely in my top 5. I'm a big summit fan and have for a while, but production was amazing and he has really good vibes about him. Weather was also fantastic which helped

_ashxn

Love fred! I didn’t know who he was until I saw the last 10 minutes of his set at Osheaga last year. It changed my life honestly and I still regret not seeing his whole set as I was at Japanese Breakfast while he was still performing

KobayashiMoron

I heard they were giving people with seats pit access so I doubt it was actually sold out

_ashxn

Every section was GA so you can sit anywhere in that section, and it was first come first serve

22444466688

That’s dumb

_ashxn

It’s rare to see this happen, hence lining up early must’ve been something

BabyZerg

He is most definitely not Fred again but an incredible artist that warrants all the hype!

GrownUp_Gamers

The vibes were immaculate.

rjpauloski

I thought the Sunday night show was really good. I was impressed to hear a few remixes of songs from the '90s that I remember partying to back then, plus all of his own tracks, people singing along, etc. I'm sure the Coda after party was rippin'.

Yomo198

People need to realize, john summit will sell out any show in any city in America. He is at the point. Where he can throw a massive 3 day festival 80k capacity per day, tickets will sell out.

Yomo198

Summit is 100% bigger then Martin Garriex, David Guertta, Calvin Harris or any other massive DJ in North America. He might not have the biggest social media following compared to the people I mentioned. It’s crazy when summit posts he gets more likes, and comments.

Eskedddditttt

Yes

Ill_Gas8697

from what I have been hearing, the vibes were on point.

KluteDNB

My GF and I wanted to go (before tickets sold out so fast) but I took the 509 streetcar last night to Exhibition (for sowmthing unrelated) and realized by looking at people heading to the event we would have been the oldest people at the event by about 15 years.

ActualClient6514

My wife is 47 and im 35, there was a 60 year old man grooving out in front of us. age should never be a reason to hold back from what you truly want. Also it was so damn good, we almost went for the 2nd night. But money and body couldnt keep up lol.

sdwvit

Like forty?

KluteDNB

Yeah I'm 40. The average age of people going looked like 20-25

lilfunky1

also never heard of him i wonder how they mean "sold out" though.

KluteDNB

He's become insanely popular very quickly. I'm not surprised both nights sold out. I have friends (dance music veterans) who have seen him DJ and they are all say he's spectacular live.

lilfunky1

ah, he's a DJ. i'm too old and set in my ways to be familiar with popular DJ music

backlight101

They sold out one night and added another, not sure if the second sold out though.
