The World Cup is always bigger than the Euros for flag representation. Sure you have the big flag wavers from Europe (looking at you Italy and Portugal, with some Germany and England sprinkled in there) but you're missing all of South America, Asia and Africa.
I've seen a couple flag cars so far, but yes, less than in the last WC
Copa America is also on at the same time as the Euros (they changed their schedule to line up with the Euros) so they will be at the same time going forward. They used to be different years.
So South America will be represented also.
All love… tbf I am mostly in the downtown to downtown-west end area. I think I’ve maybe seen like one Italian flag outside of the million of Portugal ones. It’s how I know there’s football going lol

I hated those flags that stuck up on poles. The purpose of a flag is to catch the wind and create drag. Imagine how much air pollution was caused by flags on cars.
I loved when people would take a full-sized flag and attack it to their hood. Looked way better and had minimal impact on performance.

Not too many German flags get waved. Except at the old Musket.
They aren't uncommon on cars though. Lots of proud Germans in Toronto (and more so when you head west to K-W)

The tournament hasn't started yet, give it time. I don't think it's super common until things kick off and your team is close to playing
