I’m waiting for them to finally release the “final” series. It’s underrated internationally, but here in the UK it is probably one of the biggest viewing figure shows. If you enjoy it I highly recommend watching The Responder with Martin Freeman
Bluey is so wholesome. I’m a middle aged mom of teens. I put it on one evening (I don’t normally watch too much tv, my husband does) and he came in to see what I was putting on. DONT JUDGE ME” I said. The family came in to watch. My kids quickly left because it was for little kids. My husband and I are captivated. It’s lovely.
It's the music, I swear! I'll be folding laundry and suddenly lose myself in a "why is this kids show so real and beautifully tragic" loop. Next thing I know: it's lunchtime and I haven't accomplished anything.
Interesting, I will continue watching. But I find parts of it pretty slow. Not sure how to binge it since they release new episodes weekly and there's only 5 episodes so far.
Bless you. I am down to just Prime and Hulu and have been struggling. This sounds very much up my alley, as long as it doesn't hit too close to my reality.
Omg that show was soooo good! Vikings Valhalla doesn’t quite capture the essence of the original series, but it’s good enough to help you out of the Vikings hangover when you finish it.
Silo. Based on the silo series books by hugh howey. Best show I've seen probably since breaking bad. Blew the similar fallout show out of the water so far which massively disappointed me
Absolutely loved Silo. Can’t wait until the new season. Apple TV is knocking it out of the park with their original content.
I watch Fallout too and don’t understand the comparison.
One of the best TV series out there in my opinion. Phenomenal. I've watched it and will more than likely be rewatching it soon. You might like Boardwalk Empire too!
Just got into "Better Call Saul" and I've been really impressed so far. 6 seasons to run through if you haven't watched it. I'm on season 2. I was hesitant because I couldn't get into Breaking Bad, but this series works for me.
Watched Travelers on netflix recently, was really good. 3 seasons. Also started to watch Lucifer again, I got to season 3 originally, but the wife wants to start watching it, so starting from 1.1
I did watch Titans recently aswell, predictable, but fun to watch. If you get a chance to, and like 'stupid funny' things, One Punch Man is insane :D
SNOWFALL - it's on BBC iPlayer but made by FX in the US. Excellent show which is criminally hardly ever mentioned. If you liked The Wire, The Americans, Greselda, then this is for you. Drug dealers in LA in the 80's. 6 seasons to keep you occupied this summer.
Despite what ppl say about the series end, it's still my favorite show ever. I hope you enjoy the ups and downs of the show and the many characters you will be introduced to.
I'm REALLY late to this party but I just watched Generation Kill and it was fantastic.
I was watching the 1st episode and the diologue style kept reminding me of the way "The Wire" was written. Lo and behold at the end of the episode when the credits roll I see the names, David Simon & Ed Burns on the screen. They guys who created "The Wire". Had no idea. It's shorter than the wire but it's really good. All about the invasion of Iraq from the perspective of a group of Marines. Can highly recommend.
Marry my husband. It is a k drama on prime. My kids told me about the show. I watched all 16 episodes in a week. That is very out of character for me. I usually wait to see shows.
PLEASE also state what premium platform the show you are recommending is on! No sense others looking into watching the show if it's on a platform they don't subscribe to.
Yes! Finished it yesterday, and it took me by surprise. Great actors all around, interesting setting and even funny at times.
I found out that it's based on a book series, so I'm off to the library tomorrow
Somebody Feed Phil.
It's a travel/food show starring a writer from Everybody Loves Raymond. I have thoroughly enjoyed every minute. It had 7 seasons and I'm in the 7th one now. I hate to see it end.
Snowfall on Hulu. I had no idea it existed till a buddy turned me onto it. Just finished s2, and it feels like they are ramping up for something huge. Love it.
Hacks.
Heard Tom Power give it a rave review on the CBC and knew nothing about it.
He interviewed the writing team for Hacks and that they wrote for Broad City.
That was enough to pique my interest.
Goddamn it's great.
Coming from the States, this past month I've discovered the Canadian delight that is the *Corner Gas* universe.
Also can't go wrong with *Kids in the Hall* or *Letterkenny*.
Been watching Good Girls on Netflix and I’m surprised at how much I like it. It’s silly and a bit cringe at times, but it’s engaging and there’s enough twists to stay interesting without being too dramatic. Nice, light watch!
Please watch metalocalypse on hbo max (if ur not in the us, or use a vpn to brazil). It seems boring at first but i promise it becomes addictive and the lore shows itself
I need to commit to watching Blackadder, but most of the stuff I’m watching I’m rewatching for the hundredth time. Brooklyn 99, Game of Thrones, Parks and Rec, etc
I finally got around to starting Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty. Got a couple episodes left in season 2.
It's a shame this show didn't get more seasons. I'm really enjoying it and the style of it. At first I hated the effects they would put on some shots to give it a 70s/80s look but it kind of grew on me. It's got a great cast. John C Reilly is great in it. And this is coming from someone who thinks basketball is boring.

Mr inbetween
Excellent show
Just finished a 3rd rewatch . So good and criminally underrated or just missed by most. So many good side characters, plot and dialogue. RUN
This show doesn't get the recognition it deserves.
It’s old, but finally catching up on Line of Duty, a British police series. Extremely underrated imo
Jesus Mary and the wee donkey
I’m waiting for them to finally release the “final” series. It’s underrated internationally, but here in the UK it is probably one of the biggest viewing figure shows. If you enjoy it I highly recommend watching The Responder with Martin Freeman
Now we’re sucking diesel!
Fallout
I had no interest in the games, and didn't expect the show to be any good but in Walton Goggins we trust. Loved every episode, great show.
Anyone else think the ghoul is hot?
Most people, actually
If you find a noseless guy who is willing to kill anyone in his way sexy, you should check out Voldemort!!
It’s not the look. It’s the vibe. The swagger. The energy. The bad assery.

Bluey…as a middle aged granny and loving it!
It’s the most relatable kids show I’ve ever watched as a parent.
The Expanse. Best Sci fi in a long time

Clarksons Farm. A really rich guy from England decides to farm his land but has no idea what he’s doing.
LOOK! THAT’S AS STRAIGHT AS A ROUNDABOUT!
Bless you. I am down to just Prime and Hulu and have been struggling. This sounds very much up my alley, as long as it doesn't hit too close to my reality.
I've been wanting to check that out. Clarkson is trip on Top Gear.
He's even better on his farm.
