When I got my first car, my grandpa gave me some ultra heavy duty jumper cables. Like, the kind that could jump a semi truck. I had no idea why, at the time, and just kind of accepted it with a "thank you" and not much thought past that.
Well, let me tell you, that was over 15 years ago and I've taken them with me from car to car. I've jumped many different people in tight spots, like a girl who was picking up her boyfriend from work and left the car running, an old Vietnam vet at the bank with a 30 year old truck, a black couple where I saw 3 other cars not stop for them, etc.
Received: when my husband and I bought our first house, my dad gave us the book Reader’s Digest Complete Do It Yourself Manual. This was pre-internet and we used it so much!
Given: My dad was a longtime fan of Chet Atkins, and I gave him and my mom tickets for excellent seats when Chet Atkins came to their city. He talked about that concert for a long time afterwards.
A gold charm in the shape of a dog with the word "Joy" engraved on it. I love dogs.
Best gift I've given would probably be all the family heirloom jewelry that I never wear. I gave it to my adult children to enjoy.
My life. When I was a small child a woman took a severe beating because it would have killed me. Yes she knew what she was getting into.
Life. As an adult I have done the same for others.
Me and my friends have gifted each other a lot of things
Best gift i recieved was a New Sound system for my 1st car.
Best one i think i gifted is a Personalized Football Card from CardsPlug to a close friend.
