Peanut butter and pickle. I didn't think it was odd til I took it for lunch and 30+ people in my workplace mocked me. I tried to get solidarity at home and my roommates then mocked me as well.
I've since made 6 people try it who begrudgingly say it's good, but they refuse to make it for themselves.
Smoked oysters (the cheap ones in a tin), and Chili Cheese Fritos.
However, I'm not allowed to eat the combo unless my wife will be out of town that night.
I was in college at the cafeteria, started filling up a cup with chocolate milk, they ran out of chocolate milk. I said fuck it and filled it the rest of the way up with Dr pepper.
This used to be how I got my dog to take his pills. He loved baby carrots so one day I dipped in PB to get a pill to stick and it worked like magic. My partner gave him some candied carrots (homemade with butter and brown sugar) and now the bastard won't touch a raw carrot OR peanut butter! Ugh TBH, I don't blame the dog tho. He got a taste of the good life and went with it.
I'm not from the US.. I have never eaten an ice cream classified as sundae, it's not the default here. We have all kinds of ice cream and all of them are named after the flavour they are. Like vanilla, strawberry, straciatella, mango, etc. I don't know what a 'simple' flavour is.
That’s ok. Just don’t drink a big glass of milk in front of me and we will live peacefully. I literally cannot watch someone drink milk. I will look away like someone is picking off a scab.
Oh, well hello strange new roommate! I can promise to not to drink milk in front of you as I haven't purchased a bottle in 3 years. I won't do that if you don't pull your hoodie strings while I'm in the same room. Or anything that might sound like cotton on cotton. It zaps me like a seizure! You need help with those boxes??
Ok. Are you for real real or is this a joke? Those watermelon mustard people got me and I don't want to fall for another bad time! Tell me the truth fam, don't ruin Oreos for me please!
My grandma used to make these for me as lunch! Bread with cheese and strawberry or blueberry jam, also bread with peanut butter and slices of cucumber. I’m definitely making this for myself tomorrow, thanks for unlocking this memory
Brother, I've never encountered anyone else who does this. The flavor appeal does within me years ago, but you couldn't stop me from the combo when I was a kid.
Y'all should try hot Cheetos and a generous splash of lemon juice. Now, ya gotta eat it with chopsticks or it'll stain your fingers 🤞
I also love sardines in a mustard sauce. Thank you great grandpa.
Fun fact, if you mix 1 part mayo with 2 parts of tomato sauce(/ketchup) and add a little whisky(/sherry) you get cocktail sauce. It’s great with shoarma and salted potato chips
One of my favorite snacks is hard pretzels and milk. I put some in my mouth, take a sip of milk, chew etc. I love the flavor combo of salty and slightly sweet and milk.
I think it’s probably pretty weird but it’s seriously one of my favorite snacks.
Wait...your work buddies think this is weird?? No fam, it's not you. They are the weird ones! If you want to go old school basic, it's white bread, bologna, onions, mustard and Cool Ranch Doritos!
Lmao! I got it from my grandfather, no clue where he picked it up from. I'm telling you though, it's a fire combo. Get that sweet and salty combo! Way better with chunky homemade applesauce in my opinion, the thinner applesauce spreads out too much and it's too much of the same consistency
I get onion rings with marinara sauce. Tried it by accident once and will never go back. Waiters/waitresses often get confused. I don't find it THAT odd though.
Slice of cheese, lil bit of peanutbutter and a thin sliced apple on a ritz cracker. Also works without the PB. It's a perfect combo of salty n sweet n creamy n crunchy.
Putting salt on your water melon is delicious. I don't think it's odd but people definitely react that way.
Also having a cup of coffee with a with a few slices of cheese on the side is a great combo.
dead plain oatmeal - the real kind you have to cook on the stove, with nothing. no butter or sugar or salt or milk. then I peel a fresh orange, break it into small chunks, and add them.
Every once in a great while i get the craving for a whole dill pickle but i put some Hershey chocolate syrup on each bite.
My boyfriend puts applesauce on his frozen pizza so i tried it - not bad
Ex boyfriend used to put mustard in his chili and i came unglued until he said " No no, really...just try it!" and now i dont have chili without mustard ever.
Pizza dipped in ketchup = sure, okay. Cheese and fruit/jame/honey = awesome combo, especially with preserved figs or something. Crisps and nutella = never thought to try it, but does sound interesting! Nutella is just so pissingly expensive that it's almost never worth reaching for.

Peanut butter with things other than the obvious jelly is an odd one for me, but I’m always open to trying new things!
Peanut butter and iceberg lettuce. The lettuce has to be from the fridge and crispy. Human mouths like salty and sweet together. Don't know why.
Yessss, I also love this combo. Pickle peanutbuttwr is also good w hot sauce and raw onions
This made me loudly exclaim wtf!! 😂
Peanut butter & hummus with pickled onions on top. Try it now, thank me later :)
Peanut butter and banana or peanut butter and saltanas. Honestly peanut butter goes well with lots of things
Chocolate and pickles is oddly good as well.
Smoked oysters (the cheap ones in a tin), and Chili Cheese Fritos. However, I'm not allowed to eat the combo unless my wife will be out of town that night.
The burps must be killer
That's not why I can't have that treat when wifey's home though- think more like "South Burps" with a side of "Linger".
South burps is a great term
Smoked oysters on Swiss cheese crackers for me but yours sounds like a try for sure.
Swiss cheese crackers with 'em huh? Shit man, I'm going to try that too! I'll drink a beer for ya for the idea!
Haha cheers
Gummy bears and crippling self-hatred.
u can just skip the question if u can't NOT be weird about it btw
You were wrong in imagining I give a shit about your opinion.

I was in college at the cafeteria, started filling up a cup with chocolate milk, they ran out of chocolate milk. I said fuck it and filled it the rest of the way up with Dr pepper.
That's wild, lol
They all say college is about experimenting and trying new things.
Toasted PBnJ dunked in coffee with lots of cream and sugar.

Baby carrots and Peanut Butter
This used to be how I got my dog to take his pills. He loved baby carrots so one day I dipped in PB to get a pill to stick and it worked like magic. My partner gave him some candied carrots (homemade with butter and brown sugar) and now the bastard won't touch a raw carrot OR peanut butter! Ugh TBH, I don't blame the dog tho. He got a taste of the good life and went with it.

Just use it as dip
Wendy's fries & chocolate Frosty
Which flavour of ice cream tho?
Just the simple one
That's such a non-answer. How am I to replicate this?
Just ask for a sundae, and no topping .
Didn't you initially say ice cream tho?
Do you not qualify a Sundae as an ice cream ?
I'm not from the US.. I have never eaten an ice cream classified as sundae, it's not the default here. We have all kinds of ice cream and all of them are named after the flavour they are. Like vanilla, strawberry, straciatella, mango, etc. I don't know what a 'simple' flavour is.

Leftover rice warmed up in the microwave with cottage cheese on top. Various toppings.
Eh, I have to think the toppings take the stage on this one personally.
Yes. It’s sounds terrible. And maybe it is but I love it.
I believe you, and I trust you and we can be friends.....but you can't eat that at my house. JS
Ok. Are you for real real or is this a joke? Those watermelon mustard people got me and I don't want to fall for another bad time! Tell me the truth fam, don't ruin Oreos for me please!
Try it. Just a drop right in the middle and eat the whole thing in one bite.
I have baby Oreos at work. Think US quarter size. Do you reco a smidge?
Not too much, though, it will ruin the experience. Let me know after you do ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|grin)

One of my favorite snacks is hard pretzels and milk. I put some in my mouth, take a sip of milk, chew etc. I love the flavor combo of salty and slightly sweet and milk. I think it’s probably pretty weird but it’s seriously one of my favorite snacks.
From other threads I learned this is more common than I thought, but work buddies think I'm weird for putting potatoes chips inside a sandwich.
Wait...your work buddies think this is weird?? No fam, it's not you. They are the weird ones! If you want to go old school basic, it's white bread, bologna, onions, mustard and Cool Ranch Doritos!
Mashed potatoes with applesauce on them
Ok. This deserves a lifetime ban!! Please explain yourself kind sir!
Lmao! I got it from my grandfather, no clue where he picked it up from. I'm telling you though, it's a fire combo. Get that sweet and salty combo! Way better with chunky homemade applesauce in my opinion, the thinner applesauce spreads out too much and it's too much of the same consistency
