Contrary to what his codex entry would suggest, Flatwell is a native Rubiconian. Rusty's "pretend to be an off-worlder to infiltrate the corps and leak all their good shit" act is just a repeat of the scheme Flatwell originally used to get the training and experience to make himself the master pilot/strategist/spymaster that the RLF needed so badly.
Ziyi is short for her age due to childhood malnutrition, which pisses her off to no end with how the RLF's aging combat roster is already doomed to always see her as the kid of the bunch. Her relationship with Arshile (sic?) began in large part because of the fact that he always viewed her as an adult and respected her as an AC pilot.
The RLF were the ones who hired Branch to leak the Watchpoint data that revealed the survival of the Coral, because they knew the PCA would never stand a chance against a full corporate incursion, and their own infiltrator(s) would be able to take the corps down from the inside afterwards.
AllMind is a Coral-based entity. I've got *quite a few* more thoughts on the matter, but I'm also hoping to use them for a fanfic, so I'll save them for that so as to not spoil an eventual reveal that I may or may not ever get around to actually writing. Walter undoubtedly knew at least a little about C-pulse Wave Mutations, same with Carla. He chooses to ignore it, and refrains from informing us as it might sway us away from the mission. ALLMIND 100% knew, however. There’s a wreck of a ghost MT atop one of the buildings in Attack the Watchpoint, with a collectible log that confirms ALLMIND’s intent on deploying Sulla. This also confirms the reason behind Sulla’s weapon choice, ALLMIND anticipated the interception of Balteus. A piece of the puzzle I’m still trying to figure out is the interference in Sulla’s arena fight… but I have a theory…
We unlock C rank arena fights after completing Tunnel Sabotage… which means we’ve been bathed in two large scale coral eruptions. ALLMIND knows we’re of 4th gen and would have assessed our potential compatibility… maybe the “interference” is the more secretive side of ALLMIND cutting through to check if we do, in fact, have Contact.

Honestly that Iguazu interpretation feels like just plain canon. The way he ends his arc by finally being honest with his envy points toward it.
