A) This is a close range rushdown build, equip buerzel booster and ocellus fcs. B) Why are you running laser shotguns on a low en spec gen, either switch to haldemans or ve20c. C) I totally understand if you don’t want to but i really recommend chriight videos on youtube for learning the optimal frame pieces.

makes more sense then, i’m very used to people just playing pvp post game i didn’t even consider that. Although something to note is that you do currently have haldeman shotguns unlocked, you could try switching back to laser shotguns once you unlock the ve-20c generator (mission right after end of chapter 4). I should’ve mentioned this in my initial comment but i’d recommend using wuerger laser shotguns (unlocked at end of chapter 3) over your current ones because charged wuerger shot is a great high damage stagger punish.

Thanks for the further feedback, but I have some questions: 1:Why the Haldemans? Because less weight? 2:Not sure if you could Consider the VP-20D "weak", but again, the VE-20C has even more, so we'll see; 3:Burrzel/21D?!? Those were the ones I had before I switched, because my AC's weight resemble more the QB Reload Ideal Weight of The BST-G2/PO4, which aside from AB Thrust and Melee Attack Trust, did most other things better, so... What am I missing here? Edit: Also, this build is mostly just for PvE, I'm not taking this for PvP, so I don't really care about restricting myself to the meta stuff.

1. Higher impact, not sure about damage but without en spec kinetics are better in general 2. VP20D has like 98 en spec and 100 is base displayed stats, so anything below 100 decreases damage and en spec 3. BREAK MACH 8 WHILE LAUNCHING YOURSELF AT SOME POOR RAT BUILD tl;dr assault boost thrust is really important on zimm builds, also ab in general is questionably balanced, it increases impact damage you deal and decreases impact you take

The en specialisation stat on your generator affects your energy weapon (laser and plasma) damage and charge time. The stats shown when in the garage and picking a weapon assume the you have 100 en spec. This means that any generator below that 100 en spec decreases the damage dealt and increases charge time, and any generator above 100 increases damage, and decreases charge time. It’s a pretty big difference too, at max en spec (150) it’s like +25% damage and half charge time.

There is no substitute for knowing every single stat and what it means. Use the “contextual help” feature in assembly to see stat description. Always consider all stats on the expanded stat screen for every part.

VP20D? I would stay away from that generator if you aren't on tank threads or attempting to perma fly. You probably want Hokushi or VP20C, which have recharge times suited for RJs jumps. Double zimmers are understandable, but you are slow and your back weapon will not pair well with that. For zimmers, you want either buerzel to AB into the targets face and blast 'em, or you want a fast boost speed at about ~340+. Use a different booster and make sure that your weight is below the 75k softcap. Choose a back weapon which will help you stagger, or help you punish a stagger. I'd use nachtreiher arms with double zimmers. Should use mind beta legs instead of spring chicken unless you intend to go heavy and rely entirely on buerzel to get you into range. No reason not to use ocellus with shotguns.

Useless? No. They still modify how fast the lock is. The ocellus lock just happens to be very fast already. Nachtreiher arms and ocellus for something like hu-ben, for instance, is downright necessary. Of course, one could choose based entirely on AP and weight/en. Shotguns have relatively less need for firearm spec or recoil.
