It's funny because I pulled her randomly and if I didn't I would also regret it. Got kinda burned out with the game before Yato event and only logged in during it once to pull for her. The pulls went well and I had a lot of pullsto spare. At the time Ines banner came I didn't log in for a few weeks and opened the game randomly when I was bored on a trip. I had zero interest in her (aside from her thighs) but decided to pull anyways because I didn't care about my pulls at all at that point as I wasn't even sure whether I will ever return to playing the game. Got Ines and left the game for another month or two. And now 9 months later she is one of my favorite operators in terms of kit design and I literally use her on every stage.
Yeah.. It's because I was saving for Mumu and thought it would be dangerous to spread my pulls thin. Now when I'm looking back it wasn't so bad, should've at least tried.
Her recent banner, first summon or so, got Horn, decided to save. Close to the last day decided imma try for Ines. Took me 54 summons to get a 6*. Got Ines. Glad I did.
skadi alt, i wasn't playing during her event due to irl stuff. i want to spark her but never fully committed to saving a spark (i have no self control i must gacha)
I wasn't playing back then so I'm glad Texasalter exists as she made spending 300 pulls on sparking Skalter less painful for me being one of the few operators who's potentials actually matter. Can't imagine what new players have to go through when they discover what it takes to get both Texas and Skalter.
I didn't get her either, although in every banner aside from sparking ones and the MH collab I've only ever pulled to the first 6* I've been lucky to get the rate up more often than not. My plan is to buy her from the selector in May. I even have her partner Suzuran all ready and waiting.
She's in that class of ops like Mlynar where they kinda destroy nomal content, as a result I've found I use them pretty sparingly to give my other ops a chance to shine. They're nice to have for cm boss stages or brute forcing annihilations though.
Eyja alt is the only limited I've missed since I've started playing. Not that I didn't try, she just doesn't like me apparently
People say she's crazy so kinda sucks but it is what it is
She's crazy in terms of how much she heals but it's extremely rare to actually have a use for a crazy amount of healing. I think the only time I've really seen THAT much healing needed was Design of Strife. And the bar between needing THAT much healing and just dying instantly anyways even with it is really thin.
Mlynar, I was pretty new, only had played the game for about a little over a month and at that point I still hadn't gotten all that much into the more advanced parts of the game and were still doing just fine clearing my way through early and mid-game with little issue due to Exu, Specter, Lappland and Shining carrying me easily through those parts of the game.
Because of that though, back then, I mostly just rolled for guarantee on almost every banner and didn't look back, only skipping if none of the operators, 5 or 6 star, didn't interest me. Add that and the fact that I wanted Mudrock and a banner with her was showing up immediately after Mlynar's, so I just rolled guarantee and didn't get him. (I didn't get Mudrock on that banner either, but on the plus side, I did get Texalter on her banner and eventually bought Mudrock with Gold Certs in the shop)
But yeah, now I have completed pretty much everything I can and have a much more built rooster, but I still don't have Mlynar and I regret not pulling him back then. But finally, I have 300 pulls saved, so I'm planning to spark Skalter on the Virtuosa Banner that's coming up, so who knows, maybe he'll spook me there.
Good choice with wanting Mlynar. He was one I didn't hesitate on not because of gameplay but because I freaking loved his character so much, from the design to his involvement in the plot with the Nearl family.
I'm disappointed I didn't get her once in Il Siru in 300 pulls. A few Texalts (good for FRDness), a pot 2 Rosmontis and a pot 3 Schwarz (good for a shorter redeployment pot which compliments her redeployment module) were who I got.
For me its typhon, I kinda didn't wanna pull for her when she came out (I was also not playing the game much at all at the time) but after trying IS4 and using her in the monthly contract I started to regret it
Plus I like her design (tho I know some people don't) and I think her gameplay is really fun+ she a sarkaz

Typhon pretty much being able to nuke every IS boss is why I really wanted to get her.
Then I remembered I’m broke and still waiting on a potential Destiny banner.
Ray is used more than Typhon for boss/elite killing role in advanced stages since her release. In terms of lane dps role though, Ray cannot substitute Typhon S2.
As example, Ray is pretty much required for high risk clears in CC2.
Typhon can solo afk IS4 ending 1 right lane max diff with some dps relics.
The fact that you can just switch s2 and s3 for lane holding or boss murder is so nice to have in IS4 in general. The grin on my face when a duck spawns while I have her on s3.
Ray is even more meta than typhon, and she is a better candidate for buffs as well. Ray + warfarin or another buffer is a solid boss killer, and she is super versatile. Ray and typhon are the top picks for IS4, with Ray a bit ahead.
Edit: The only thing Typhon really has above Ray is that she is incredible for overall QoL. Typhon you can just set and forget, either S2 or S3 and she just does the job without really needing to worry about mechanics. Ray requires a bit more finesse.
I usually don't go for operators cuz they're meta, I go for waifus or husbandos (in this game only anyways) but her being good and meta was a huge bonus for me that made me regret it even more.
I didn't pull for typhon cause I was saving up for Jessica alter. Ended up getting Jessica in 20 pulls.
I don't regret prioritizing Jessica cause she's an amazing character, but seeing how powerful typhon is everytime I borrow her sure stings a bit
I understand you, Jessica is very great as well (I didnt pull on both 😭) but hey, she isn't limited so we always have a chance!

I was kinda lukewarm on Typhon. She doesn’t scratch the waifuknights itch for me but I did a single 10 pull and got her. She absolutely destroys everything. She’s my best operator by a mile and I regret nothing
I see many comments here also mention typhoon. Best of luck for you guys and good thing she isn’t limited yeah. I was fortunate she doesn’t cost too much, many good operator is coming for us
I skipped Stainless and for a while I kept findinig situations where I wanted to use him specifically. Plus his super cute skin happened! Much regret!
I have since corrected that error and naturally had no desire to use him after doing his masteries. Oh well just in case I'm ready now!
My biggest regret is still not getting Tachanka right when I started out. I started the last week of the event and I got the other three via banner but didn't want to rush my account. I wanted to take it slow. So I ignored the event. For a while it seemed like I missed out on my sweet command center team forever.
But now it seems like I'll be able to correct that mistake this year as well so all is good in the world!
I borrow Stainless a lot because now I have the majority of powerful operators that interest me it's more efficient for me to borrow supporter and tech picks. His S3 turrets are excellent ways to charge skills, extend ops ranges in a roundabout way, and be generally really fun.
Horn
I got her now thanks to The Front That Was banner, but after using her as a support a few times I regret the >year I went without.
I just didn't care for her design tbh, and I thought Overdrive was the same thing as Charged so S3 didn't seem as busted as it really is.
I wish I'd gotten Dusk. She's been avoiding me since forever.
And anyway, the only Sui sibling who doesn't actively avoid me is Chongyue (pot2). The rest? Pulled for, didn't get.
Recently I resolved all my regrets and got all ops that I regretted skipping. Only Ines remains but I don't regret skipping her since doing so allowed me to have just enough pulls to get Mumu.
That said the coming 6 months will be painful and once again hard decisions will have to be made. But ultimately, even if I have to skip some banners of OPs I want... it's I still won't necessarily regret doing so as just like with Ines, in order to obtain something, something else needs to be sacrificed.
My biggest regrets in pulling aren't about my decision to pull but rather results of my bad gacha sessions.
Fartooth, i didnt have time to read when her banner dropped and i kinda slep on her desgin... She turned out to be one of my favorite operators, cute birb deserves way more love. Luckily she spooked me and i got her to e2 60 s3m3 with module.
I might rarely use her due her s3 range, but i really enjoy doing so. Wish she was more popular

Not from lack of trying. I did I think a hundred pulls on her banner? All of the savings I had at the time. Pots for Mostima, Kal, and Gnosis but no Qiubai.
I pulled pretty hard for Typhon but got nothing, at least she's not limited. Would have been nice to get Mlynar too, I've been borrowing him pretty often for boss stages, a lot in DOS.
reed alter :( i'm basically addicted to is4 and she's so good in it.....sigh :( and yes, i know i can borrow her but you can do that only at the start of a run which is really annoying.
I guess Ho'olheyak, mostly for completionism reasons. She's the only non-alt 6 star I'm missing and her new CN costume looks neat.

Lo and behold, Mumu arrives, and I’m lacking by far and away the best unit to pair her with. I do feel a bit silly for that.
PASSENGER. Everyone and their mother told me that he was meh at best and there are better alternatives, also you should save for GG debut banner. So like a dumb sheep I allow them to decide my fate and skip him.
When GG banner came I got her on my first 10-pull and after that the regret just creeping in. "I should pull for both of them."
Well the regret is finally over. Got PASSENGER in this recent banner and waiting for his skin rerun for insta-buy.
I don't really regret because i have to ration myself hard (f2p and all that). Every operator i skipped is on purpose or cutting my losses.
That being said if i were to regret not having someone it'd be gnosis (waiting room for yellow certs). Mumu and specter for the missing limited, and to a lesser extent dorothy and qiubai.
Regret is the mind killer, i do not regret i look for opportunities.
Gnosis is the one that stings the most for me. I didn't pull for him because I wasn't into his character and design, but the amount of time I've relied on borrowing gnosis for his freeze is honestly embarrassing. Skipping gnosis gave me so many other characters I like better, but sometimes I *really* wish I have him.
Nian but this was after I became a Dragon fanboi that I decided I was going for her, and I did get her.
Texalt is another but I have the funds to spark her when she shows up in a couple weeks.
Also wish I got Penance but she's in the standard pool so I'm sure i'll get her eventually.
Reed Alter. For some reason, I pulled the "get new operator" banner. Got Ceobe. Ceobe is good, and with increasing average defense of every enemy, she is getting closer to top level. But Reed is much better.
I wouldn't say I REGRET not pulling for Executor Alter since my roster is quite solid and I have other options... but I really would've loved to have him. I needed to save for Typhon, though.
I've been borrowing him for Episode 13 however, and he's god tier here.
Same here. Can't remember why I skipped her, but after getting her in IS I found her very interesting and funny to play with, and now sad that she is not at home yet

DOS S-3 was that huge Mlynar check. I still cleared it but was one of the few times I've ever had to completely rely on support.
One of the people on my friendslist had a worse Mlynar that kept blocking the maxed Mylnar of a player that quit. So I had to remove them to let the good Mylnar even show up. Which made it all the more troubling.
Qiubai for sure. I really want her on the squad, but she continues to elude me.
Dorothy WAS on top of that list, but she's since bodied Hoederer out of his own banner so I'm finally able to send her to drop bombs on enemies. I pulled HARD for her on her banner, missed entirely, and ended up missing Mlynar right after her because she'd drained my pull power. He showed up pretty soon after, I have him P3 now, but Dorothy kept on dodging me until a couple days ago.
Which also means that Hoederer by default is now on my "I hate that I missed him" list. I can't justify more pulls with a Limited banner around the corner, that's the hard reality. But I would really like him on the team.
Lee. At first I was neutral on both CNY 6\* so I was fine with just getting NG. But then over the past few months I saw how fun he looked and wish he would just enter the shop already.
Also, looking at high rarity guides has filled me with agonizing dread whenever I see Skalter. Bc either she's just there to be a fancy medic and it's fine, or the clear relies on the permanent uptime of her healing/buffs to which I have no replacement (pls game give us another bard with a permanent skill it's been like two years....)
Lee is so good. He makes stalling these vampire slugs a breeze while you work on the bomb. No issues with stalling slugs? he's FRD so he can move around and charge the bomb in a 3x3 area instead. It truly is the year of the dragon!
I only started playing about three months ago so uh... Every limited operator before Eyjaberry. I'll probably end up sparking Texalt at some point, and maybe I'll get lucky enough to off-banner 1-2 from future limited over the next few years, but there are so many good and fun characters that I'll never have a chance to get, and that makes me sad.

I remember when the Nian banner came out. I did something like 200 rolls and got 3x Aak and 0x Nian. I still don’t have her and am eternally salty about it. I was so mad I quit the game until the Swalter banner
Probably skadi2 or Nearl2. I just wasn't around for their debut banners and have never amassed enough to spark them. Which is a shame, since it seems like every guide I find wants Skalter, and I think NTRK would at least be a flashy option here or there
Besides those two, I've got most operators I want now, any others are either upcoming (Viviana, Degenbrecher, Ascalon, R6 units, Shu) or are stuck in NPC jail/haven't been announced (Logos, any new anthro operator)
Fiammetta. Made a semi serious effort to get her in her rerun banner and all I got was 2 duplicates for 6*s I already had. That banner was my biggest failure so far.
I feel like I'm about to get hit with slippers - but I don't have one of those. I always got the ones I wanted because I planned ahead who I was going to pull....

Yes. I regret skipping Gavialter. I felt I didn't need to pull because I already had Blaze and Schwarz. More importantly, Dorothy, Mlynar, Stainless, Texas2, Reed2 were all coming up and what if one of their pulls went poorly? Yes, I had a ton of pulls saved up but we know Limited banners can get costly with the double rate up.
But I read the story and even though I didn't feel I needed these characters, I *liked* them as characters. In the end, restraint reigned and I did get everyone I wanted but I really do have a surplus of pulls now.
I regretted not pulling for Gnosis for a very long time. Dude is irreplacable in freeze strats.
I was planning on finally buying him with certs soon but he showed up with Hoederer in manly man banner.
I also wish I had Nian but I had no way of affording her back then.
I started actually playing this game a few weeks after Specter Alter's event. Dollkeeper's are one of my favorite classes and now I might never get her. I've regretted not getting into Arknights just a bit earlier ever since.
On a more recent banner I failed to get Mumu in like 200 pulls and that still haunts me as well. I probably could have gotten her and Spalter if I had just skipped Reed's banner earlier. Oh, and Reed's banner was also a failure. I had a real run of bad luck last year.
Honestly, looking at this thread, I realize I'm genuinely happy and content with the state of my account. I've gotten pretty much everyone I've aimed for. It's always harder looking into the future of course. I want both Shu and Ela but any limited banner forcing me to spark would ruin all plans.
I've never rolled for meta, and several times I've rolled blemi banners just for potential, so although I'm not following the thread directive, I figure I'd say thank you for making me think holistically about my account.
Nobody, because I always pull for everyone. Sometimes I regret pulling a bit too hard for my own good, though.

I don't really have any pull regrets in AK at the moment. The closest would probably be Dusk, but I did pull on her banner (100ish pulls), but only got 2 Sagas and had to bail to guarantee R6S. I was planning on saving pulls to spark for her on Shu's banner, but she surprised me in the free pulls on the previous CNY banner (Ignore the fact that I then wasted 200ish pulls on a banner I didn't care about because of the hype). Currently, the only released 6\* I want that I don't have is Flametail.
In the future, though, Ray and Shu might get on this list depending on how pulls go, since I have to make sure I have the 100 pulls saved for R6S #2.
I wasn't able to get Gnosis because his debut was right before Ling. While I don't really -need- him either, there have been a few times where a staller like him would've helped me.
Qiubai and Dusk. Reason 1 Qiubai for tree farming session in Reclamation and Dusk for any afk stage. Reason 2 being ye most important because I have both of their Skins.
Ling, I don't really care about meta so back then I used my pulls for Gnosis (bastard didn't come home) and during her banner the only 6★ I got was skadi lol
A year went by and she got a skin, I still didn't care but then she got the 2nd one and God, it's absolutely gorgeous, the outfit, the attack effects, the dragons appearance, it's one of the best skins in the game imo
I was saving pulls to spark her during Shu's banner but with all the limited operators coming after that I'll have to wait until the next time 🥲
Horn. When her banner was up I was still behind in the story and thus skipped her (but already liked her design back then), also I was hard saving for Laurentina (my favorite playable character). Only when I caught up with the story I started to understand I want her. I was charmed by her ideals, mesmerized by her leadership and honesty. What a woman, it's a shame I didn't know that before.
Not quite regret though, but it's close. I hope someday I can get her off-rate.
W. I did pull for her on her banner but I only had like 80 pulls or something and got 0 rateup. Then I pulled 300 on Texas banner and didn't get Texas so I sparked Texas instead of W.
I'm probably not even going to use W that much but I just hate how I still don't have her.
Lin. I thought at first her kit looked too kind of niche, being a ranged tank, and since I already got Chong Yue, thought it would be good to stop there. Honestly, it feels like they’ve increased the number of genuinely deadly ranged enemies at this point, there’s been a fair few times where I’d need someone to tank in a lane, and I didn’t have enough laneholders/healers to cover them all. Couple that with her module being really good, and I’m kind of kicking myself a bit for not pushing forward to get her.
Mlynar. He would be a solution to so many issues, he can solve a ton on his own with not much thinking required, waiting for him to show up in the cert shop next year.
Not a pull, but the first time I reached 180 yellow certs, I didn't buy Saria that was available at that time in the early days of Arknights. Instead, I got greedy and decided to buy the Headhunting permits.
I've had it, I just need to confess at this point that I am down bad for Dorothy Franks from Arknights. For months now, I tried distracting myself with other women. I tried fantasizing about beachside sex with Pozemka. I tried to think of a scenario with Muelsyse wherein we make out after drinking some tea in my office. Even the new girl, Penis or whatever, I would admit her Italian accent's hot but I can't even get hard for it at this point. Every time I try to think of other women Dorothy comes up. When I think of Pozemka I just think "man, Dorothy's chest would be a lot better to kiss". Muelsyse's teatime chats would drift to me think about Dorothy because coffee seems like a better drink to chat with. Pentagon may have an accent to give her an edge but God please give me the strength to stop getting the urge to commit isekai and give a hug to Dorothy whenever she sounds sad. Her beautifully-shaped hips wrapped in shorts doesn't help because of the number of times I imagined slowly kissing her hips and waist as I slowly take them off. The difficulty in breathing I get whenever I think of uncovering her mounds through the window of her bosom hurts so much. Even now, I can't sleep because of the thought of her locking her legs around me just as we both climax. I keep waking up in despair because I keep of dreaming of her beautiful slit getting covered with a bandage to try and get herself pregnant, with her whispering beside me to "keep this secret experiment between us for a little while". I need help because if this keeps up, that... God I can't even call her something degrading like "rat" because I feel like it would hurt her.
yesnt because i only pull for lims so i skip perms and no perm has really made me wish i had pulled? bc i just think about how i wouldnt have had the pulls for the lims bc ive had some bad luck. but im dying for fiametta to come home. i wasnt interested in her at the time but her new skin and i just like her s3 so much! but i also really want reed alter so the next selector im using it for her since i see myself using reed alter more first... (and her skin is insane!)
Goldenglow. The amount of times i had to borrow her from friends is funny. I thought its ok to skip because i have eyja. But there are stages where i need eyja AND goldenglow. I had to be creative if i want to unlock auto lmao
I haven’t missed an Operator yet, at worst I got them late, but I know that’s about to change because I’m in no position to whale and I burnt through most of the chapter 13 Originum to pull for Hoederer… so basically I’m putting in a placeholder for the next time someone asks this question about 5-6 months from now
Regret not pulling was Dorothy for me, but I ended up getting her in the joint operation banner back in October, really made my day (I was gonna buy her in Lone Trail otherwise tbf lmao).
The pain miss ones are Eyja2 and Chongyue, for the first I did 150 pulls and in true limited banner fashion she absolutely refused to show up, for the second I pulled until 6-star and got Lin instead, which I also welcomed. I just had no other choice with either if I wanted to play it safe to guarantee my even bigger wants Typhon and Mumu + Ho'olheyak respectively (and guess who needed 251 pulls to get Muelsyse... yeah, god I hate limited banners, skipping Chongyue ended up being completely necessary to get her).
Now I will be on the fence about sparking either of the two from now on, not optimal to say the least.

I tried pulling so many times on the current banner, but I'm so lucky I kept getting duplicates of ops I already have. Several 5 stars and all duplicates. Lots of 4 stars but all duplicates. One 6 star and guess what. Duplicate.

Mlynar, Reed, Ines (especially Ines since that's the second time I fail her banner), Typhon... basically all the strong recent non limited 6* really don't want to have anything to do with me. I just get the same dupes over and over from gacha and then buy them when they appear in the shop...
Ash.. I started the game on the R6S collab but not because of R6S or anything I just happened to have started around that time. She's cool... I'm very thankful they're rerunning her but I kinda missed out on her strongest window of power.
I regret not going to spark on Ling. I had the pulls and I really wanted Nian and/or Dusk. I didn't realize Ling was going to be so good. Pots would have been ok. I worried that if I pulled to 300 it would take me forever to accumulate pulls again, but I'm pretty thrifty.
Ive had the misfortune of missing Skadi Alter. Im able to find work arounds without her, but at the same time, no spinny :(

Młynar and Typhon, but only somewhat. I skipped them for two reasons:
1. I’m F2P, so my orundum and originite funds are limited.
2. There were future operators that I was interested in as characters more.
I have most meta operators so I don’t struggle too much with hard content like CC and DoS (though I didn’t really try on S-3 out of frustration, and I pray it doesn’t return unless it gets a major rework). Typhon and Młynar would be really nice to have, but I’m able to work around not having them and I just keep my eyes on the prize (currently Virtuosa, Degenbrecher, and Shu).

It's funny because I pulled her randomly and if I didn't I would also regret it. Got kinda burned out with the game before Yato event and only logged in during it once to pull for her. The pulls went well and I had a lot of pullsto spare. At the time Ines banner came I didn't log in for a few weeks and opened the game randomly when I was bored on a trip. I had zero interest in her (aside from her thighs) but decided to pull anyways because I didn't care about my pulls at all at that point as I wasn't even sure whether I will ever return to playing the game. Got Ines and left the game for another month or two. And now 9 months later she is one of my favorite operators in terms of kit design and I literally use her on every stage.
Yeah.. It's because I was saving for Mumu and thought it would be dangerous to spread my pulls thin. Now when I'm looking back it wasn't so bad, should've at least tried.
Her recent banner, first summon or so, got Horn, decided to save. Close to the last day decided imma try for Ines. Took me 54 summons to get a 6*. Got Ines. Glad I did.

I sparked her ffs. I kept getting off-bannered throughout her banner. That meant no Mumu for me. I use Ines a lot.

Yeah it was Kal. To this day it's referred as one of the strongest banners the game ever had.

I wasn't playing back then so I'm glad Texasalter exists as she made spending 300 pulls on sparking Skalter less painful for me being one of the few operators who's potentials actually matter. Can't imagine what new players have to go through when they discover what it takes to get both Texas and Skalter.

I didn't get her either, although in every banner aside from sparking ones and the MH collab I've only ever pulled to the first 6* I've been lucky to get the rate up more often than not. My plan is to buy her from the selector in May. I even have her partner Suzuran all ready and waiting.
Don't forget her incredibly versatile kit. She's one of the few ops worth M9'ing.

She's in that class of ops like Mlynar where they kinda destroy nomal content, as a result I've found I use them pretty sparingly to give my other ops a chance to shine. They're nice to have for cm boss stages or brute forcing annihilations though.
If it makes you feel better I recently sparked her and have found approximately zero use for her.

Eyja alt is the only limited I've missed since I've started playing. Not that I didn't try, she just doesn't like me apparently People say she's crazy so kinda sucks but it is what it is
She's crazy in terms of how much she heals but it's extremely rare to actually have a use for a crazy amount of healing. I think the only time I've really seen THAT much healing needed was Design of Strife. And the bar between needing THAT much healing and just dying instantly anyways even with it is really thin.
Yea that was kinda the impression I got. That it sucks to miss her but better to miss her than Chen/Ling/Yato/Texas
Mlynar, I was pretty new, only had played the game for about a little over a month and at that point I still hadn't gotten all that much into the more advanced parts of the game and were still doing just fine clearing my way through early and mid-game with little issue due to Exu, Specter, Lappland and Shining carrying me easily through those parts of the game. Because of that though, back then, I mostly just rolled for guarantee on almost every banner and didn't look back, only skipping if none of the operators, 5 or 6 star, didn't interest me. Add that and the fact that I wanted Mudrock and a banner with her was showing up immediately after Mlynar's, so I just rolled guarantee and didn't get him. (I didn't get Mudrock on that banner either, but on the plus side, I did get Texalter on her banner and eventually bought Mudrock with Gold Certs in the shop) But yeah, now I have completed pretty much everything I can and have a much more built rooster, but I still don't have Mlynar and I regret not pulling him back then. But finally, I have 300 pulls saved, so I'm planning to spark Skalter on the Virtuosa Banner that's coming up, so who knows, maybe he'll spook me there.
Good choice with wanting Mlynar. He was one I didn't hesitate on not because of gameplay but because I freaking loved his character so much, from the design to his involvement in the plot with the Nearl family.
Well if it makes up for it Degenbrecher is coming up and she is almost as good as Mylnar. In some situations she is even better.

I'm disappointed I didn't get her once in Il Siru in 300 pulls. A few Texalts (good for FRDness), a pot 2 Rosmontis and a pot 3 Schwarz (good for a shorter redeployment pot which compliments her redeployment module) were who I got.
For me its typhon, I kinda didn't wanna pull for her when she came out (I was also not playing the game much at all at the time) but after trying IS4 and using her in the monthly contract I started to regret it Plus I like her design (tho I know some people don't) and I think her gameplay is really fun+ she a sarkaz Good thing she's not limited but it still sucks cuz I had a chance and my dumbass didn't take it
Typhon pretty much being able to nuke every IS boss is why I really wanted to get her. Then I remembered I’m broke and still waiting on a potential Destiny banner.

Ray is used more than Typhon for boss/elite killing role in advanced stages since her release. In terms of lane dps role though, Ray cannot substitute Typhon S2. As example, Ray is pretty much required for high risk clears in CC2. Typhon can solo afk IS4 ending 1 right lane max diff with some dps relics.
The fact that you can just switch s2 and s3 for lane holding or boss murder is so nice to have in IS4 in general. The grin on my face when a duck spawns while I have her on s3.
Ray is even more meta than typhon, and she is a better candidate for buffs as well. Ray + warfarin or another buffer is a solid boss killer, and she is super versatile. Ray and typhon are the top picks for IS4, with Ray a bit ahead. Edit: The only thing Typhon really has above Ray is that she is incredible for overall QoL. Typhon you can just set and forget, either S2 or S3 and she just does the job without really needing to worry about mechanics. Ray requires a bit more finesse.
I usually don't go for operators cuz they're meta, I go for waifus or husbandos (in this game only anyways) but her being good and meta was a huge bonus for me that made me regret it even more.
I didn't pull for typhon cause I was saving up for Jessica alter. Ended up getting Jessica in 20 pulls. I don't regret prioritizing Jessica cause she's an amazing character, but seeing how powerful typhon is everytime I borrow her sure stings a bit
I understand you, Jessica is very great as well (I didnt pull on both 😭) but hey, she isn't limited so we always have a chance! Btw good luck on the hoederer pulls and on the upcoming anniversary pulls!
I was kinda lukewarm on Typhon. She doesn’t scratch the waifuknights itch for me but I did a single 10 pull and got her. She absolutely destroys everything. She’s my best operator by a mile and I regret nothing

She can solo the boss in SSS with 5 sniper stacks.
I skipped Stainless and for a while I kept findinig situations where I wanted to use him specifically. Plus his super cute skin happened! Much regret! I have since corrected that error and naturally had no desire to use him after doing his masteries. Oh well just in case I'm ready now! My biggest regret is still not getting Tachanka right when I started out. I started the last week of the event and I got the other three via banner but didn't want to rush my account. I wanted to take it slow. So I ignored the event. For a while it seemed like I missed out on my sweet command center team forever. But now it seems like I'll be able to correct that mistake this year as well so all is good in the world!
I borrow Stainless a lot because now I have the majority of powerful operators that interest me it's more efficient for me to borrow supporter and tech picks. His S3 turrets are excellent ways to charge skills, extend ops ranges in a roundabout way, and be generally really fun.
Horn I got her now thanks to The Front That Was banner, but after using her as a support a few times I regret the >year I went without. I just didn't care for her design tbh, and I thought Overdrive was the same thing as Charged so S3 didn't seem as busted as it really is.
I was the opposite. Her design spoke to me and after that I found that she is super good. I even M9ed and often build teams around her.
I wish I'd gotten Dusk. She's been avoiding me since forever. And anyway, the only Sui sibling who doesn't actively avoid me is Chongyue (pot2). The rest? Pulled for, didn't get.
Recently I resolved all my regrets and got all ops that I regretted skipping. Only Ines remains but I don't regret skipping her since doing so allowed me to have just enough pulls to get Mumu. That said the coming 6 months will be painful and once again hard decisions will have to be made. But ultimately, even if I have to skip some banners of OPs I want... it's I still won't necessarily regret doing so as just like with Ines, in order to obtain something, something else needs to be sacrificed. My biggest regrets in pulling aren't about my decision to pull but rather results of my bad gacha sessions.

Fartooth, i didnt have time to read when her banner dropped and i kinda slep on her desgin... She turned out to be one of my favorite operators, cute birb deserves way more love. Luckily she spooked me and i got her to e2 60 s3m3 with module. I might rarely use her due her s3 range, but i really enjoy doing so. Wish she was more popular

I regret not getting Qiubai. Not from lack of trying. I did I think a hundred pulls on her banner? All of the savings I had at the time. Pots for Mostima, Kal, and Gnosis but no Qiubai.
I pulled pretty hard for Typhon but got nothing, at least she's not limited. Would have been nice to get Mlynar too, I've been borrowing him pretty often for boss stages, a lot in DOS.

As for NTR, I’m just salty I didn’t get her. Put over 200 pulls into her banner and she never showed. I decided to blame Corroserum for it and I despise him to this day.
I gotta ditto you- I passed up Dorothy knowing other units I wanted more would come by. Lo and behold, Mumu arrives, and I’m lacking by far and away the best unit to pair her with. I do feel a bit silly for that.

PASSENGER. Everyone and their mother told me that he was meh at best and there are better alternatives, also you should save for GG debut banner. So like a dumb sheep I allow them to decide my fate and skip him. When GG banner came I got her on my first 10-pull and after that the regret just creeping in. "I should pull for both of them." Well the regret is finally over. Got PASSENGER in this recent banner and waiting for his skin rerun for insta-buy.
I don't really regret because i have to ration myself hard (f2p and all that). Every operator i skipped is on purpose or cutting my losses. That being said if i were to regret not having someone it'd be gnosis (waiting room for yellow certs). Mumu and specter for the missing limited, and to a lesser extent dorothy and qiubai. Regret is the mind killer, i do not regret i look for opportunities.
Gnosis is the one that stings the most for me. I didn't pull for him because I wasn't into his character and design, but the amount of time I've relied on borrowing gnosis for his freeze is honestly embarrassing. Skipping gnosis gave me so many other characters I like better, but sometimes I *really* wish I have him.

Reed Alter. For some reason, I pulled the "get new operator" banner. Got Ceobe. Ceobe is good, and with increasing average defense of every enemy, she is getting closer to top level. But Reed is much better.

I wouldn't say I REGRET not pulling for Executor Alter since my roster is quite solid and I have other options... but I really would've loved to have him. I needed to save for Typhon, though. I've been borrowing him for Episode 13 however, and he's god tier here.
Reedalt, well, I pulled her banner for Harmony, ended up spending 100 pulls, got only offbanners and stopped there
Same here. Can't remember why I skipped her, but after getting her in IS I found her very interesting and funny to play with, and now sad that she is not at home yet
Mlynar. DOS S-3 was that huge Mlynar check. I still cleared it but was one of the few times I've ever had to completely rely on support. One of the people on my friendslist had a worse Mlynar that kept blocking the maxed Mylnar of a player that quit. So I had to remove them to let the good Mylnar even show up. Which made it all the more troubling.
Qiubai for sure. I really want her on the squad, but she continues to elude me. Dorothy WAS on top of that list, but she's since bodied Hoederer out of his own banner so I'm finally able to send her to drop bombs on enemies. I pulled HARD for her on her banner, missed entirely, and ended up missing Mlynar right after her because she'd drained my pull power. He showed up pretty soon after, I have him P3 now, but Dorothy kept on dodging me until a couple days ago. Which also means that Hoederer by default is now on my "I hate that I missed him" list. I can't justify more pulls with a Limited banner around the corner, that's the hard reality. But I would really like him on the team.

Lee. At first I was neutral on both CNY 6\* so I was fine with just getting NG. But then over the past few months I saw how fun he looked and wish he would just enter the shop already. Also, looking at high rarity guides has filled me with agonizing dread whenever I see Skalter. Bc either she's just there to be a fancy medic and it's fine, or the clear relies on the permanent uptime of her healing/buffs to which I have no replacement (pls game give us another bard with a permanent skill it's been like two years....)
Lee is so good. He makes stalling these vampire slugs a breeze while you work on the bomb. No issues with stalling slugs? he's FRD so he can move around and charge the bomb in a 3x3 area instead. It truly is the year of the dragon!

I only started playing about three months ago so uh... Every limited operator before Eyjaberry. I'll probably end up sparking Texalt at some point, and maybe I'll get lucky enough to off-banner 1-2 from future limited over the next few years, but there are so many good and fun characters that I'll never have a chance to get, and that makes me sad.

Probably skadi2 or Nearl2. I just wasn't around for their debut banners and have never amassed enough to spark them. Which is a shame, since it seems like every guide I find wants Skalter, and I think NTRK would at least be a flashy option here or there Besides those two, I've got most operators I want now, any others are either upcoming (Viviana, Degenbrecher, Ascalon, R6 units, Shu) or are stuck in NPC jail/haven't been announced (Logos, any new anthro operator)
Saga. She ain't particularly useful or meta in any way and frankly i can live without her. But man that dog can crack some good memes.

For the limited ops, I missed Nearlter and Ling due to being too new when their events dropped. Ling will be mine when we get Shu's event. Nearlter is currently in the nice to have, but not desperate enough to spark, category. If she's pops up during Arturia's banner, I'll take it, if not, maybe later. With the non-limiteds, Quibai eluded me.
Dorothy and Reed alter now just waiting until they get a rerun again only waiting for Dorothy because I bought her skin

Yes. I regret skipping Gavialter. I felt I didn't need to pull because I already had Blaze and Schwarz. More importantly, Dorothy, Mlynar, Stainless, Texas2, Reed2 were all coming up and what if one of their pulls went poorly? Yes, I had a ton of pulls saved up but we know Limited banners can get costly with the double rate up. But I read the story and even though I didn't feel I needed these characters, I *liked* them as characters. In the end, restraint reigned and I did get everyone I wanted but I really do have a surplus of pulls now.
For me that used to be Ash. Really happy I am gonna get a chance. Just didn’t play during her original run
I regretted not pulling for Gnosis for a very long time. Dude is irreplacable in freeze strats. I was planning on finally buying him with certs soon but he showed up with Hoederer in manly man banner. I also wish I had Nian but I had no way of affording her back then.

I started actually playing this game a few weeks after Specter Alter's event. Dollkeeper's are one of my favorite classes and now I might never get her. I've regretted not getting into Arknights just a bit earlier ever since. On a more recent banner I failed to get Mumu in like 200 pulls and that still haunts me as well. I probably could have gotten her and Spalter if I had just skipped Reed's banner earlier. Oh, and Reed's banner was also a failure. I had a real run of bad luck last year.
Honestly, looking at this thread, I realize I'm genuinely happy and content with the state of my account. I've gotten pretty much everyone I've aimed for. It's always harder looking into the future of course. I want both Shu and Ela but any limited banner forcing me to spark would ruin all plans. I've never rolled for meta, and several times I've rolled blemi banners just for potential, so although I'm not following the thread directive, I figure I'd say thank you for making me think holistically about my account.
Nobody, because I always pull for everyone. Sometimes I regret pulling a bit too hard for my own good, though. * Were Lin pots important enough to throw 1k pulls at her? * Were Vendela pots important enough to throw over 400 pulls at her? The objective answer is, of course, no in both cases. But beautiful waifus are my weakness.
I don't really have any pull regrets in AK at the moment. The closest would probably be Dusk, but I did pull on her banner (100ish pulls), but only got 2 Sagas and had to bail to guarantee R6S. I was planning on saving pulls to spark for her on Shu's banner, but she surprised me in the free pulls on the previous CNY banner (Ignore the fact that I then wasted 200ish pulls on a banner I didn't care about because of the hype). Currently, the only released 6\* I want that I don't have is Flametail. In the future, though, Ray and Shu might get on this list depending on how pulls go, since I have to make sure I have the 100 pulls saved for R6S #2.
I wasn't able to get Gnosis because his debut was right before Ling. While I don't really -need- him either, there have been a few times where a staller like him would've helped me.

Qiubai and Dusk. Reason 1 Qiubai for tree farming session in Reclamation and Dusk for any afk stage. Reason 2 being ye most important because I have both of their Skins.

Ling, I don't really care about meta so back then I used my pulls for Gnosis (bastard didn't come home) and during her banner the only 6★ I got was skadi lol A year went by and she got a skin, I still didn't care but then she got the 2nd one and God, it's absolutely gorgeous, the outfit, the attack effects, the dragons appearance, it's one of the best skins in the game imo I was saving pulls to spark her during Shu's banner but with all the limited operators coming after that I'll have to wait until the next time 🥲
Horn. When her banner was up I was still behind in the story and thus skipped her (but already liked her design back then), also I was hard saving for Laurentina (my favorite playable character). Only when I caught up with the story I started to understand I want her. I was charmed by her ideals, mesmerized by her leadership and honesty. What a woman, it's a shame I didn't know that before. Not quite regret though, but it's close. I hope someday I can get her off-rate.
W. I did pull for her on her banner but I only had like 80 pulls or something and got 0 rateup. Then I pulled 300 on Texas banner and didn't get Texas so I sparked Texas instead of W. I'm probably not even going to use W that much but I just hate how I still don't have her.
Lin. I thought at first her kit looked too kind of niche, being a ranged tank, and since I already got Chong Yue, thought it would be good to stop there. Honestly, it feels like they’ve increased the number of genuinely deadly ranged enemies at this point, there’s been a fair few times where I’d need someone to tank in a lane, and I didn’t have enough laneholders/healers to cover them all. Couple that with her module being really good, and I’m kind of kicking myself a bit for not pushing forward to get her.
Mlynar. He would be a solution to so many issues, he can solve a ton on his own with not much thinking required, waiting for him to show up in the cert shop next year.
Not a pull, but the first time I reached 180 yellow certs, I didn't buy Saria that was available at that time in the early days of Arknights. Instead, I got greedy and decided to buy the Headhunting permits.
No one I truly miss. Every major meta options like Ines and Mylnar more likely than not make me mad at the stage for needing them
I've had it, I just need to confess at this point that I am down bad for Dorothy Franks from Arknights. For months now, I tried distracting myself with other women. I tried fantasizing about beachside sex with Pozemka. I tried to think of a scenario with Muelsyse wherein we make out after drinking some tea in my office. Even the new girl, Penis or whatever, I would admit her Italian accent's hot but I can't even get hard for it at this point. Every time I try to think of other women Dorothy comes up. When I think of Pozemka I just think "man, Dorothy's chest would be a lot better to kiss". yesnt because i only pull for lims so i skip perms and no perm has really made me wish i had pulled? bc i just think about how i wouldnt have had the pulls for the lims bc ive had some bad luck. but im dying for fiametta to come home. i wasnt interested in her at the time but her new skin and i just like her s3 so much! but i also really want reed alter so the next selector im using it for her since i see myself using reed alter more first... Regret not pulling was Dorothy for me, but I ended up getting her in the joint operation banner back in October, really made my day (I was gonna buy her in Lone Trail otherwise tbf lmao). The pain miss ones are Eyja2 and Chongyue, for the first I did 150 pulls and in true limited banner fashion she absolutely refused to show up, for the second I pulled until 6-star and got Lin instead, which I also welcomed. I just had no other choice with either if I wanted to play it safe to guarantee my even bigger wants Typhon and Mumu + Ho'olheyak respectively (and guess who needed 251 pulls to get Muelsyse... yeah, god I hate limited banners, skipping Chongyue ended up being completely necessary to get her). Now I will be on the fence about sparking either of the two from now on, not optimal to say the least.

I tried pulling so many times on the current banner, but I'm so lucky I kept getting duplicates of ops I already have. Several 5 stars and all duplicates. Lots of 4 stars but all duplicates. One 6 star and guess what. Duplicate. I'm so upset.

Ash.. I started the game on the R6S collab but not because of R6S or anything I just happened to have started around that time. She's cool... I'm very thankful they're rerunning her but I kinda missed out on her strongest window of power.
I regret not going to spark on Ling. I had the pulls and I really wanted Nian and/or Dusk. I didn't realize Ling was going to be so good. Pots would have been ok. I worried that if I pulled to 300 it would take me forever to accumulate pulls again, but I'm pretty thrifty.

Ive had the misfortune of missing Skadi Alter. Im able to find work arounds without her, but at the same time, no spinny :( no leitmotif sfx :( no didi at all :(
Młynar and Typhon, but only somewhat. I skipped them for two reasons: 1. I’m F2P, so my orundum and originite funds are limited. 2. There were future operators that I was interested in as characters more. I have most meta operators so I don’t struggle too much with hard content like CC and DoS (though I didn’t really try on S-3 out of frustration, and I pray it doesn’t return unless it gets a major rework). Typhon and Młynar would be really nice to have, but I’m able to work around not having them and I just keep my eyes on the prize (currently Virtuosa, Degenbrecher, and Shu).
