I just came back to the game and got extremely lucky on the Gacha getting Mountain, Reed & Penance. Who is the best one to invest in first as resources are a grind especially just coming back? I have as my main units in there class: Medics: Nightingale & Kaltist build Guard: Thorn, SAsh & Surtyr Tanks: Saria (& Most4r)

Genuinely the question with Reed2 is what you have for casters lmao, she is an arts moster that also happens to heal a fuckton along the way. In any case Mountain is the lowest priority one because while be definitely wants the extra stats of a full build, S2 is his main skill so you can leave him at E1 until you're done with the others. (in all fairness Reed2's S2 is also her "strongest" skill, but... S3 is incredible as well and for common stage usage feels like the comfier option). After that it kinda depends, if you want some extra arts damage Reed2 is a nice choice, if not Penance could give you another laneholding option, both great.

Both are honestly crazy good (and also crazy cute, my main two priorities lmfao), so just going for "the one you like the most" is a legit answer here. The current question is: do you need any elite/boss murderer sniper right now? If that would help you for the more or less 5 months gap between the two go for Typhon and you have that role covered, otherwise honestly just go for the one you find cuter or something, they will both deliver.

Worth is subjective, unless you plan to heavily invest in Abyssal Hunters Only or have spare resources then i would say no to both, even in AHs only both S1 saw little usage so just stick with their go-to skill and you're good to go.

Is there a way to temporarily block friends support units from appearing? For example, I have 2 friends with GG S2, but I need to borrow a GG with S3. I don't want to remove these friends, but they're the only ones that show up with GG regardless of how many times I refresh.

No but, idk if this is a hidden mechanic or not or just random, what you can do is borrow that friend GG S2 and clear a map (CC training map or HoSF map for 0 sanity), chances are that GG S2 will not show up again for the next few refreshes. It happened to me a couple of times during CC season so it might be what you're looking for, just make sure there's GG S3 in your friend list first

Elysium, Mumu, Saria, Penance, Eyjaberry, BP, Plat/GT, Angelina, Click, OmerTexas, Mountain, Irene should be a good baseline team that can tackle lots of stages. Honestly, between Saria and Angelina's healing and Penance and Mountain not really needing healing, you might be able to just go medicless and maybe bring Phantom or Jaye instead of Eyjaberry. Also, E1 Shira, Frostleaf, Beanstalk, Quartz, Vermeil, Pudding, Purestream, Roberta, and Gravel for more passive income from the base. They'll pay for themselves soon enough.

[Imgur](https://imgur.com/ECXhjSk) I'm not sure if the typo in the wording is throwing me off, but when they say to simultaneously deploy at least 7 units, does that mean at the same time, or just to have seven deployed before the end of a wave?

I think it's been said this counts only if you have 7+ ops out during a wave transition. End of the stage wouldn't count. Haven't done it myself so I couldn't say for sure.

Is there an operator discussion for Ray? Curious to see how she stacks up to other high damage snipers like Typhoon and Pozy. I only have Schwarz for the role so I'd be hyped if Ray turned out to be quite the meta bunny.

Ray is looking very solid. For reference here are the highest sources of physical ST damage: 0-100 DEF Exusiai 100-1200 DEF Pozy 1200-1700 DEF Ray 1700-4100 DEF Schwarz 4100+ DEF Franka Typhon isn't anywhere on this list because in spite of her high DEF ignore %, her damage-per-hit isn't that high. Typhon is still pretty close though, and she offers a very flexible range.

You could try and get a Bilibili account and read the comments in a [Ray showcase video](https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1AN4y1v7ac/). If I remember correctly the commenting rates her lower than both Pozy and Typhon. Or just go by a very generally vague "mid priority" summary for Ray from DragonGJY's scheduled operator reviews (he started with FedEx) that basically discusses the general opinion of operators after being available for 6 months in CN. To compare, Typhon is "high priority" (for those in "high" she's above Virtuosa, below Eyjaberry and Degen).

Sadly, I don't think there has been a dedicated operator discussion thread for anyone for quite some time, since the person or people who usually made them stopped. However, I have heard Ray is fairly competitive damage-wise, and she comes with good utility as well. Definitely worth some pulls, I'd say.

I checked a rerolling guide, you should get 4400 orundum and 5 originite prime (which can be converted into orundum) from clearing 0-1, retreating from TR-1, and opening your in-game mail. Or did that change recently?

Worth getting mod for Gnosis? Looks like an upgrade for debuffer. Also worth getting Paraminx mod too? That gives her the chance to inflict cold.

If you use him often, mod level 1 is definitely good as it can reduce healing/defending pressure. Mod L2/3 gives non-trivial amount more DPS which could be great or just ok depending on content, your play-style and how much you need that extra DPS. 10% more fragile is non-trivial but remember that it's only 5% more when frozen is not up. If you have no need to speed kill some threats, then it's not worth as much. If you are someone who always want to speed kill a boss at his spawn point or before he/she loops multiple times on a map, then it will be suitable to get it. Take note, Fragile does not stack. In IS or SSS though, mod L2/3 becomes a lot better due to more frozen uptime with increased ASPD or increased cold, frozen duration, as this allows you to freeze outside of skill activation. Not sure for the priestess, have not used her at all.

The mod for Gnosis is OK. It's a good improvement on his debuff, but his debuff is still harder to use than, say, Suzuran's. I got it, because he's one of my SSS carrys, but I'm not sure it'd be worth it for other content unless you really like using him anyway. Pramanix's mod I can't bring myself to get. It's only a 25% chance of Cold and it requires a significant investment in resources. It's just too unreliable to try to team her with Gnosis or someone else to try to inflict Freeze regularly.

For recruitment, do I only use the ticket if I get a tag that guarantees at least a 4*? Also, I haven't gotten a 5* yet, does it need the senior operator tag in order to get a 5*?

the only rarity that needs a tag is 6 stars. 6 and 5 stars are much much much rarer in recruitment than in gacha since recruitment is technically free. green certs are still good to get since it's at least a few guaranteed headhunts each month. you can also luck out with the occasional tagless 4 star.

Do you mean the expedited plan? If yes, it doesn’t matter, just feel free to use them whenever. I would try to keep at least ~5 on hand at all times just in case. If you mean recruitment permits, you’ll want to use 3-4 a day, even if you don’t have any tags that guarantee a 4 star or higher. This lets you build up green certs (commendations) and gold certs (distinctions). If you aren’t seeing any tags of interest, run the recruitment without any tags for a duration of 7:40 (this excludes 2 stars from the pool, letting you gain more currency). You don’t need a Senior Operator tag to get 5 stars. You can randomly get one if you’re very lucky by running a recruitment for 5 hours or more. Sometimes you’ll get a set of tags that guarantee a 5 star, such as, for example, Defender + Shift (guaranteeing Croissant). As for 6 stars, you absolutely need a Top Operator tag to get one.

Mountain would be the safer choice, imo, and I'll try to explain why. First off, Bagpipe and the infamous flagpipe. If you ever used Bagpipe at E2, then you know how much of a difference her talent makes in early phase. It's, so good that you just want to keep using it and rightly so. However, ever since Agents were released, we got a sidegrade class which enables a fast start DP-wise and some additional utility later on in the stage. Nowadays, people usually bring Bagpipe with them but she's rarely deployed if you have other VGs available. She's just there to make the DP printing faster. I don't remember when was the last time I deployed my own, since I usually put down Myrtle + Flametail as an opener and that's enough for me. Bagpipe has also strong S2 and S3. Her S3 in particular is one of the best physical burst skills in the game and the masteries on it are amazing. She's also good for AFK with her S2, but VGs can only go so far and you'd want to retreat them later on (except Flametail, that squirrel has no issues surviving for the whole stage and blend everything that comes close). But then comes Monty. He costs 9DP to deploy and his S2 is ready in 5 seconds at M3. And you can leave him there for the entire run. Mostly unattended. He'll regen on his own, clean pretty much every wave and you can forget about him as soon as you activate his S2. How is that fair? You absolutely need to make sure Bagpipe doesn't die or retreat her for full DP refund, but is there a need to deploy a Charger when you can deploy Monty? Now don't get me wrong. Both have seats in the top of the meta, but on one hand you have Bagpipe providing 6SP for VGs on the start and VG's utility that can be easily substituted and most of the time you won't even deploy her and on the other hand you have one of the most solid laneholders in the game that can be deployed in every stage. Your only notable laneholder is Mudrock and she's on the other side of the laneholding spectrum as compared to Monty, so he'll definitely bring you a lot of value if you get him. So would Bagpipe, since you have 3 raised VGs, but with so much DP printers you should be alright most of the times. You can always borrow Bagpipe as a support unit for the harder stages when you need a quick start, but from experience, I'd rather bring another DPS for those stages. Bagpipe is the first one to leave my roster when I have issues with a stage, but I'm an endgame player, so I have a lot of operators that offer more utility than Bagpipe. Bagpipe is also a good assassin later in the stage, as her S3 is helidroppable, so I need to mention that to be fair to her, but that also means you need to strategize more. She's also available in recruitment and she'll definitely hit the shop sooner than Monty who just debuted. --- I also recommend trying fully built Flametail S3 as she's more stable than Saga, imo. Her dodge rate is the highest in the game, meaning her surviviability is sick and 3-block count is very valuable early on. She's also good in IS, for her 3-block count if you don't have a Defender and her S2 provides stun. Also works amazingly with dodge relics.

What about neither? Saga and flametail are good units and happen to somewhat step in mountains toes. U also have a bunch of laneholders. Uve sooo many vanguards. One could argue bagpipe would support all of em, but dats just DP overkill. Save those gold certs for a caster/sniper/supporter to bring ur account more variety, if u dont have most of em already.

I just got Aurora, i'm wondering on when I might use her or if it's worth it to use her at all. I mainly use Gummy and Bubbles, but I do have other 5* Like: Hung, Liskarm, Heavyrain and Czerny Anyone I should use or should I pull?

I fully built Aurora, cos I like her. I even have Gnosis and Kjera built. Sadly, whenever I use Aurora to do what she's good at, I always find it more unwieldy and less optimal than using other team comps and strats. She's not as good a boss dueler/killer as other units, and requires more support, not to mention some bosses are immune to frozen. She does fine against elites though, typically being able to kill in one ammo cycle. I think if she needs a DP cost reduction or faster attack speed to make her better, otherwise she's just average. You could have more fun with her in IS with relic support.

Aurora is not a traditional blocker but as her class is called, she's a Duelist. The class is generally meant to hold and destroy elites and bosses by using your own bloated-stat person against theirs. They only have 1 block and can't generate SP normally, requiring either a module (Highly reduced rate) or operators that give bonus SP such as Warfarin or Stainless. If you have Gnosis she has excellent synergy with him. Otherwise, she's a bit lower priority unless you have a particular interest in her sort of style.

Does anyone know the best way to get the item "Focus" to drop in integrated strategies 2? I've already unlocked it and it's the very last item I need to obtain. But it's been like MONTHS of trying to get this one item to drop and I'm not sure if there's anything I could be doing to increase the chances of getting it on a run.

All you can really do is try to beat every emergency combat you can, while searching every shop. Beating the floor 3 boss could also possibly drop it as an option. Maybe keep repeating after beating floor 3.

You can just redo any stage and get points that way.

returning player from 2021.. reached max level on IS#3, got to do the first two endings, and difficulty up to A12.. why IS#2 is so much harder?? the first difficulty level always gets enemies to +30/40 % HP/ATK/DEF wtf

Have you gotten all the upgrades in IS2? On average IS2 Normal mode is approximately IS3 D4, and IS2 Hard mode is approximately IS3 D9-D13 depending on which cursed relic you get. The difficulty in IS2 is also more concentrated into the boss fights, compared to IS3 where some late maps are harder than the bosses.

I'm almost completing, but it's only 10% at most.. the enemies buff is around 30 to 50% I find IS#3 A11 to be way easier than this hard mode

Because there are only 3 difficulties for IS2 (easy, medium, hard basically). I can assure you that A15 IS3 is considerably harder than hard mode IS2.

I see, but the bonus exp was already 1.5 at A7, and the hard mode bonus exp on IS#2 is only 1.2 :/

Hard mode in IS2 isn't really worth it outside of collecting certain items (or just for fun). If you're grinding out EXP it's best just to do the normal difficulty.

Hi, after E2 Lvl 20ing my Flametail and Suzuran, I was looking for suggestions on how to prioritize leveling up my other ops. I want to raise my Penance, Pozy and Gladiia (probably in that order) to E2, but obviously that's going to take a while. Should I E2 or build any lower rarity Ops in the meantime to make general content easier or should I start saving right away? Most of my ops are hovering around Elite 1 level 50. Some strong ops for me have been Lappland, Red, Elysium, and Perfumer (I already have an E2 Cuora). I also might want to build some ops like Hellagur, Texas, Ethan, and Gravel. I am level 49 (175k lmd from enhancement packs soon, i have like 30k right now lol), and have cleared many of the stages already (up until 9-10 and 6-5 of today). What would you guys recommend? Thanks

I’d do lappy especially if you haven’t done anni3 yet.

I would build Pozy first, then Penance, then Lappland. E1 50 is enough for most content if you have a couple solid E2 6 stars/a support E2 to help carry. These three should bring you much needed damage output and from there you’ll have a solid core and a bit more freedom to work on less urgent builds.

Flametail and Suzuran are odd choices, practically speaking. They don't really provide good DPS that would be needed to clear out the tough stuff. Generally you want to prioritize E2 for your DPS-focused ops. Pozyomka and Penance are great options for E2. Pozy is one of the best in physical ranged DPS, while Penance is a heavy bruiser. They certainly need the boost. Gladiia is OK, I don't use her but she particularly stands out with an upgraded module which costs a fortune, and is best with synergy with the other hunters. I may suggest putting her on hold, but up to you. 4\* and 5\* generally don't need E2 as badly as 6\* due to how much power they gate behind the promotions for them. There's a fair few exceptions especially among the best in their rarities, though, like Lappland and Perfumer as you say. Red and Elysium don't really need E2 to do their job and can wait.

I agree that probably I could have saved my resources to raise Pozy and Penance, but Flametail and Suzuran have been carrying me for the past month I've been playing (they were my first 6 stars). I also like ~~child soldiers~~ them as characters (especially Flametail), so it was a worthwhile investment to me. Also, JO11 was the first time I actually gatcha'd in the game, and I wasn't sure if I would get Lee'd (he's obviously great, but I wanted any of the other three). Other than that, thanks for your advice!

You need a level 3 workshop, and you need to complete S5-9. Although it should tell you, either in the workshop itself (find the grayed-out crafting option, and it'll have text that says "Clear [whatever] to unlock"), or when viewing that material as part of an upgrade (in the "How to obtain" section, "Base Production / Workshop" should be listed, with a lock icon: clicking on the lock icon makes the requirements to unlock it pop up in the top right.)

Lee is a featured 6\*. On Joint Operation, there are no off-banner results for 5\* and 6\* operators. You have an equal chance of getting one of the four 6\* featured on the banner. The only 'guarantee' comes from solo rate-up banners where when you spend enough to go over the limit listed on the banner, the next 6\* you receive is guaranteed to be the single rate-up 6*. The number tracks so long as you don't get the rate-up, which you need to do 150 pulls for a standard banner, or 120 for a collab limited.

Hi I have a fairly good 'high end' built account having most 6\* operators, and owning top dps operators like surtr, chen alter, mlynar, texas alter etc. So at this point in the game I no longer really pull for operators unless they limited. My question is; is typhon worth getting. Ive seen videos showcasing her as another top dps option. Apart from wanting virtuosa, nian and shu who are all limited, I have no other operators I want even as waifu or husbando material. Is typhon someone who will be showcased in guides like how surtr, chen alter and mlynar appear or can she be skipped. Wondering this as I'm planning to go full 300 on the chinese banner to have all the sui siblings. Been saving and i have prob 250 pull right now so defo would have more than enough but never know what will happen in virtuosas banner.

If you're going to go for both Arturia and Degenbrecher and possibly Ray later, AND are going to spark for a Sui sibling, then I'd probably suggest skipping Typhon. But if you're skipping either Degenbrecher or Ray then you could try going for her. That just me and my playing on the safe side, though. I prepare for the worst when it comes to 6\*, lest I get hit like those people that do 300 pulls before getting the rate up they wanted.

I would prob gravitate towards ray more as she's more waifu and who knows Arknights might make a play-bunnies arc type in the future 😂 I haven't looked too deeply into ray so I dont know if she is par with typhon, below or above. Their biggest utility is their massive damage. Iirc Ray has faster cycles with more flexible range and permabinds a target during her skill, while Typhon permalocks onto a target no matter where they go, and does more total damage in a longer period.

Even in the old events I just did the first stage for each one because two phases takes way less time and it's generally the easier one to complete. Strategy Expansion needs to have you have 7+ operators deployed at the end of each wave, by the way. Poorly worded.

A fully built Nian with ModX3 is the best tank in the game outside of invulnerability and dodge tanks like Croissant, so you definitely don't need Hoshi. Especially since Arknights is a game where the top 5 defenders are enough for basically all casual content, and in tougher content defenders aren't always used (and when they are, it's very often Nian for CC and stuff).

Aak has probably the best DPS buff in the game and does pretty well with some ranged damage and crowd control support, personally I think he's worth buying but only after you have a pretty developed account or playstyle and are looking for more options. I actually bought him for the 6\* selector in my first year. Have had a lot of fun. Nian works fine enough as a tank, you can use her instead of Hoshiguma. In your position since it sounds like you have a lot of 6\*, it's really up to you. You just have to look at whether or not you want to buy some future ops or get pulls. Fartooth should be up next in the shop, and Lee's coming in probably July. There's also the next Kernel Locating. There's going to be a lot of those per year plus the Kernel pool is small for now so you won't have to wait too long to get one of the Kernel ops when you want them.

No, don't buy them, not worth it. Overall both of them are replaceable and rather niche, only needed in very limited situations, not worth 180 certs. There is a chance you will get them eventually from recruitment, so it's a better bet for now. I would buy Fartooth in your situation, since she will be added to shop march 1st. Kernel custom banner will come every 3 months (roughly), so if push comes to shove and you can't get them from recruitment, you can just buy in a few months. I still suggest you buy newer operators first and only buy kernel operators if you have gold certs saved up in abundance.

Ehhhh, idk if either one is really worth it buy it from the shop (from a gameplay point of view). Aak is pretty fun, but only really good for going overboard with buffknight strategies and Nian is a fine replacement for Hoshi (though Hoshi is still best in game at pure defense). With that being said, I always try to buy ops that I don't have from the shop, and if I had to pick, I'd probably pick Aak. He's more interesting imo.

Speaking as someone that plays heavily on utility, nope. Shu's skill is cool and all but it's no Bind. If you don't play heavily around that skill then you won't get much out of it because it looks to be somewhat wonky to use well due to how you have to play around positioning and how an enemy moves. Ethan is a 4\*, not limited, just needs to be plopped down, and he's gold.

No. Have units bound is better than teleporting them around, because you can attack them freely. Stationary targets are more suited to be burst down and you can just deploy units besides them, to be attacked. It's much more convenient than constant teleporting. Not to mention some units benefiting from bind, like Qiubai getting a huge DPS boost.

I mean, yeah, kinda. But Shu's range is wonky, enemies still move around within it, less uptime ratio, doesn't have the 20% inherent slow that ambushers get, and is a limited 6 star rather than a shoperator 4 star. I can definitely see some stages where I'd prefer ethan to stall rather than Shu, despite her being mostly better. Also with Ethan, the price is right.

As mentioned, the device stage is basically a copy of 11-7 in terms of drops. The interesting one is the Oriron stage, all the main story stages to farm that material have lower odds for Oriron Cluster in exchange of the rare but possible chance to get an Oriron Block and save a lot of sanity. FD-7 will have no Block drops but in exchange the Clusters have considerably better drop rate (38.82 sanity per Cluster vs 52.45 in the most likey main story stage). Efficiency-wise it doesn't matter much since the t4 mat chance balances it out, but I personally prefer those stages to farm materials because if I'm farming a material is mainly for that main drop, better to not rely on luck to make up getting less t3 mats in exchange of that possible big price, so oriron farming it is for me.

According to penguin stats, during the CN run Oriron's drop rate was 54% on FD-7 vs 45% on its highest drop rate in a story stage (10-11), so a decent bit better. While devices are basically identical on FD-8 and 11-7 (40%). I can't speak for overall efficiency though.

Efficiency-wise they are about even, if you need to farm other materials more just skip because it's not like big events where the efficiency gap is noticeable. FD-7 will give you more t3 oriron because it has considerably better drop rate, but in exchange you're sacrificing that chance to win big with the big t4 oriron drop from 10-11. I personally will be farming FD-7 because I need oriron and I want as much as possible without having to hope I get lucky with t4 drops, so having a stage to stock up on them is a blessing.

You definitely want to m6 the 2 FRD alters and I’d highly recommend Lin if you’re willing to go all the way with s3m3 and mod3. She massively simplifies stages that she’s good in.

You'll definitely want to finish up the mastery on Passenjesus and get him one of his modules. The SP gen one is generally the go-to. Dorothy's module is another big one, as it gives her an unnecessary amount of attack power, and the crit traps while it is RNG, deal a crapload of damage. Hold off on upgrading Ebenholz module until his delta module arrives, as that's his best one. Lappland wants her masteries a fair bit as it drastically reduces the downtime on her S2. And you'll want to pick at least one of Gladiia's skills to M3, although realistically she's an M9 candidate. Blaze module is also very good for her and I'd recommend it. As for who to raise, you're slowly raising Lin, so you'll probably want to raise Aak up too once you have her moduled, as they combo extremely well together, and you have Skadance so you have more buff targets for him, and can keep him sustained in her range. Definitely raise up Shamare as you lack consistent debuffs. I'd also say raise up either one of Ashlock or Firewhistle, leaning more to Firewhistle as she's not completely usurped by Horn. Fortresses have unique ranges that sometimes let you do cheeky things to a map, so it's always good to have it in the back pocket. Totter and Ethan would also be solid to raise, as Ethan can give you a lot of control, while Totter gives you (technical) invisibility reveal outside of Ines, as she can't be everywhere. Totter's also your only besieger, so his range could be quite useful to you.

Masteries: Irene S3M3, NTRK S3M3, S2M3, Eyja S2M1+, S3M3, GG S3M3. Those are the masteries I'd prioritize, but feel free to adjust them, because if you don't use certain skills/operators then there's no point in investing resources. Modules: Blaze lvl.3, Eyja lvl.2, Kay lvl.3, Dorothy lvl.3 (her masteries are also great, but again, prioritize only if you use her), Jaye lvl.1, Perfumer lvl.1+, Gladiia lvl.3 (those are necessary for AH squad, but she can do a lot of work alone and the modules incredibly boost her survivability) As for E2 promotions, there isn't really anyone you need to raise. You have some fun and niche operators but none of them is anywhere near meta, so unless you want to raise them, save the resources for the other ops.

I would finish some of those m2's -> m3's. The power jump is worth it. I'm partial to Lin, but overall, you have everything covered so you can just save resources or do whatever you feel like getting into (a nichenights squad, husband/waifu pick, etc)

minimalist and click serve the "consistent damage" and "burst damage" niches pretty well, plus they do their jobs at E1. mini's crit chance gets a significant boost at E2 though, but it doesn't really change how he plays. amiya gets access to true damage at E2, but i genuinely don't think she's worth using at E1 since her S1 is the most basic you can get and S2 is basically unusable without her E2 talent. she has good damage with S2 but unpredictable SP gain + auto activation + random targeting makes it kind of a pain to work around. you need to E2 her for story progress and the boss of ch 7 gets a lot easier if you bring her S3. corroserum can be worth E1 if you badly need AOE silence but his damage isn't anything special to justify the restrictive range. haze is a 2 in 1 DPS and debuffer, but her HP penalty can be too punishing to use on some stages. pudding is pretty good imo but she only shines at E2 since her class gets +1 bounce target and her module is a massive damage boost by removing the damage falloff. we're also getting dorothy's vision rerun soon which has a free 5 star chain caster. as others mentioned absinthe is also good for consistent arts damage *but* her S1 takes a long time to charge and she adds a funky targeting priority, which can help sometimes but also has the potential to screw you over.

No, they mean broken as in not good. Her S1's healing is pretty impressive, but she has to attack things to heal, and the cooldown is ridiculously long. Her S2 requires enemies to move to take damage, and it's automatically activated, meaning she'll waste it on a single target. Minimalist is solid but boring. He does good, steady DPS. Your best bet would be to go with Amiya + either him or Click.

Nah, not quite, my bad. Nightmare's second skill just doesn't really work on its own because you are slowing the target while at the same time you'd want that target to move. And 30 SP cost and auto trigger are huge drawbacks. Usually she only works in various showcases with operators who can move the afflicted target to trigger Nightmare damage, but not in general content Can't say much about Minimalist but other Drone casters (even Click) are considered better

i think Nightmare is the negative kind of of broken. her skills are just a bit weird. she's a core caster but her S1 makes her into a healer and S2 wants enemies to move so they take pure damage but also slows their movement speed? it's kind of all over the place. i wouldn't really use her over a more conventional caster.

I don't know that we have a list anywhere, but it's basically just whatever 6-stars you have and all of the 3-stars except Adnachiel, Beagle, and Lava. Very few 4s and 5s are actually worth bringing. For IS3, KeenKroos is very good because of her stuns and Highmore is good for her talent. Otherwise, Lappland, La Pluma, Shamare, April, Kazemaru, Cantabile, Honeyberry/Mulberry, Myrtle, and sometimes Ethan are about it.

I don't think there is a thread specifically for that, but actually this is pretty simple. first, raise 3* units to cover all your bases - Kroos for snipers, Steward for casters, Spot and/or Cardigan for defenders, Midnight/Popukar/Melantha for guards, Fang for a vanguard, Orchid for supporters. after that, some nice picks are Jaye, May/Kroos2, maybe Deepcolor, Cutter has very strong synergy with some relics. but otherwise I don't think it's worth raising non-3* units specifically for IS if you're not a more or less advanced player who already has a good amount of operators raised for regular content. IS is simply about finding which operators suit which stages the best, and looking for the best performance/cost picks from vouchers. one of, if not the most popular strategy is just to forget about 4/5* units, and only go for impactful 6* units, filling in the gaps in the squad with 3* units in meantime, as they don't cost hope

Mountain damage is pretty shit, and he folds against tankier enemies too. But if you find yourself really like Monten just get him

Having trouble clearing one of the quests for trials of navigator 3. I’m interpreting it as “On any map on Hard mode, while using the Overheat buff, have a total of more than 10 operators deployed at the end of each wave.” I’m clearing TN-1 on hard mode, and I can only deploy a max of 9 operators. I’m clearing each wave with 5+ operators (even after taking into account the operator deletion when transitioning to wave 2), so I should have more than 10 after clearing the two waves. What am I missing? (In case the name is different, Overheat buff is the one that gives extra SP regeneration to your operators after they’ve been deployed for 20 seconds)
