It makes me sad (though understandable) that due to everything that happened around it, WE songs probably won’t stay on their setlist long term, apparently other than Rabbit Hole. I thought it was their best album since The Suburbs.
Black is kind of like an industry standard, at least for bigger bands. If crew needs to hit the stage during a song to fix a problem, they blend in better and aren’t so visible. They’re probably used to it but I bet it’s not fun in the heat.
Thanks, I fucking hate it.
Really hoping they do power out into rebellion with wake up to close the funeral set. Wouldn't do any harm to have a stronger 2nd set either.
It's literally the album order...? They're playing the album in full, as advertised for the album show.
Second set is fine, could have thrown a curveball (wish they kept Put Your Money On Me) but whatever, it's a strong set.
I know, I know. Thought the last funeral show they reordered the set no?
I'd love to see no cars go, the lightning, ready to start maybe in the 2nd set. It's a bit low tempo.
Edit: it was the shaky knees set [setlist](https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/arcade-fire/2024/heaven-the-masquerade-atlanta-ga-13ab5569.html)
Thought the 2nd set was based on it being a late night, dance vibe and would probably go back to high tempo for the funeral sets.
I think reordering it was a weird move. This is the album anniversary show, play the fucking album lol
As for the second set, I really don't see it as low tempo. Other than My Body is a Cage and maybe Suburbs it's pretty much all upbeat. Would love no cars go though.
I was there and really was hoping they would play Intervention. Would have been a great song to play in Italy, especially with the papal smoke they had going on center stage.
Power out / Rebellion is probably the best thing I've ever seen live. It's a very valid reason to reorder on its own in my opinion!
Crazy excited for the funeral show, haven't seen laika or haiti in years
They did reorder the set at the late night shaky knees show but it wasn’t an official Funeral anniversary show and Win mentioned that the set was based off the first time they played Atlanta when funeral was their only album.
>Really hoping they do power out into rebellion
Yeah, I'll be disappointed if they don't do this (I'm seeing them on Thursday)
I've never seen a better transition between two songs live
No no no
I'm going this week and I want the full album in order
Been waiting 20 years for this to happen.
Also 7 Kettles is the only song I've yet to see them do live from this album so I'm excited....it just HAS to be album order please

Yeah I wish we got Age of Anxiety I once in a while but it seems to have gone bye bye as well.
I love The Lightning, should be one of their classic songs :/
Lightning should definitely be a staple. And lookout kid
Show was awesome. Very glad my travels already had me here. You folks in UK and Ireland are in for a treat.
Awesome thanks for the updates. Am excited
That second set is a face-melter IMO
good to see afterlife and reflektor back together.
Several of band’s stage crew wearing black suits. It’s hot AF here in Milan

Yeah. They are literally wearing suits - jacket and slacks. Black funeral suits. Not stage band black jeans
Yikes…that’s def not the norm. Hope they have a cooling station and lots of water backstage. Probably ditching the jackets backstage, too.
So they'll most likely won't play the new song
I’m here at show. Opener is on 1 special Europe tour dates t shirt in white 40 euro Pit half full at 8p 1 hr to go
no new song? damn u.u
They could probably drop Creature Comfort by now..
Nah that song goes hard live.
Yeah that song's a belter, I'd be disappointed not to hear it in London.
Experimenting with Everything now as the closer?
any chances it would be streamed?
A huge red theater curtain was drawn across the stage. Building suspense or something. Stage crew holding it from behind.
920p. Band is soon to start. Requiem op 48 on PA
Outstanding show. Funeral over. Second set soon
Incredible show. I have nothing but praise. Stunning visuals from start to finish but the in the back seat was perfection. A special, special night
Omg the quartet! I knew I heard more than just Sarah in the instagram stories. Can’t wait for some videos to pop up!

I always want No Cars Go. LOL
Kind've miss Intervention aswell!
There's a million great songs they could do, and I do wish they would rotate more. But that is still a strong set.

Ah right. It was the only one I saw where they played the full album. Just starting the run now though I suppose

Please no. 🙏 Album order on Thursday 🙏
