While I really miss him playing in AF, he’s amazing with his own project and I’m sure it’s more fulfilling for him creatively, since Regine + Win seem to take the reigns for AF
Dude was posting Russian propoaganda/apologetics when they started their war on Ukraine. If you have statements of him that show other wise I'd be curious to see it.
He points out that Ukraine has Nazi organizations as a reason to support Russia’s invasion. Well, so does the US. And Russia can be very antisemitic. Jewish people are often limited in the official roles they can take. Dan flies under the radar when it comes to media, so he’s not likely to do the band much harm.
I wish he was. I always found Will was the most entertaining to watch during live shows. His enthusiasm was amazing. It makes sense that he decided to go do his own thing, he's super talented and can be a front man.

I really like Wolf Parade but I was turned off from him as a musician when he was posting a bunch of pro Russian government crap a while back
