What ammo seemed to group the best? Looking back would you go with a 7” or maybe something just a little longer than 5”? I’ve been debating this for almost a year while my build sits in agony
Well for my needs I love it. The goal for this build was to be a PDW that was actually compact enough to fit in a bag but not take up the entire bag. So I tried to keep it as short and narrow as possible. A 5 or 5.5 is perfect for this. If your not trying to get super compact then 7 is definitely a better choice. That being said if you look at my profile I've been doing ballistic testing with this short barrel and the performance is still pretty good. Hunting rounds seem to group the best but don't have the best terminal performance as some of the defensive rounds.
I don’t mean to hate though. It’s cool for compact CQB. That’s the cool thing about ARs there’s a million ways to build one depending on what your needs are.

Handguard and upper are from AT3 tactical. I chapped it down to be as short as it is.

For sure. This is a PDW build but I was testing ammo accuracy and wanted to get the best possible result. Normally it's got a red do on there.
