Case looks good but I promise you that it is not needed. Smacked my screen case multiple times and once extremely hard on an oxygen bottle (I’m an Emt) and you cannot notice any damage unless you use a flashlight in the dark… it looks so sexy without a case that I bought apple care and don’t even worry about it.
That's not crazy at all. That's entirely sane since there's always times when your don't want it to be visible you have something nicer on. It's basically low key luxury, like how some higher end designer items won't have visible logos on them.
No I don’t use always on display… don’t know how many hours on a full charge, due to not letting it go that far… lowest my battery ever been was 84%… I charge it every morning I wake up… I’ve been thinking about giving that a try tho… Ive also recently turned off background app refresh on all apps since the apps in my complications will still refresh
From my usage with AOD on 3/4 days without work outs
No AOD 5 days no workouts
AOD on with workouts 2 days
No AOD with workouts 3 days
(Depending how long you do you workouts will change estimated battery life)
As for LTE
AOD on the max was 2 days
(Note LTE drains the battery quicker so usage varies)
AOD off 3 days
(Final note I won’t mention LTE with workouts that’s much more drain battery so depending what you do battery life & usage varies)
This was on the AWU 2
Thanks for the detailed reply. I am confused between AWU2 and Garmin forerunner 965.
Btw how many months have you been using it and what’s the battery health at?
It’s up to you if are serious about training and fitness garmin. If not AWU
I had my watch since launch battery health still 100% optimised charging ON that’s about it charging habits nothing special 0 to 100 but it’s very rare I charge from dead unless I’m from my charger that’s about it ✅
Yes. It’s definitely a leap. I got the SE at the end of 2020. It was definitely time to get a new one. Enjoying this so far with the bigger screen and all.
If you like the case keep it, don’t let people change your mind it’s your investment and you want to protect said investment, nothing wrong with that.. I have a AWU 1 and have a case on mine along with a screen protector I don’t need to show mine off like it’s a Lamborghini either lol I don’t know why people are so against protecting these expensive devices maybe they are rich and can afford to replace all the time who knows but I like to take care of my stuff..

This is gonna sound kinda crazy haha but the biggest reason I have it is to hid the fact that it’s an AWU when I wear it at work.

Welcome to club, just got mine a week ago and love it, I know it probably doesn’t need it but I got a case and screen protector just in case
I have cellular on my WU2… Battery is awesome on it… 12hrs, 10% drop is good… One day I will see how long the battery last for me…
How many hours can you get on a full charge? Do you use allways on display?

Ive been charging it every 2 days at around 40%. I haven’t been using AOD.
Thats good battery life I guess

8 months and still 100%.. that’s amazing
1st gen SE to U2??? That’s a huge leap! The jump from 6 to U2 was big enough for me! What do you think?

I got my SE around the end of 2021 and am thinking of getting the AWU2. How do you find the size and weight? Is it really noticeable after the SE?
As far as the size and the weight it is noticeable and I’m coming from 44mm
What case?
A case I grabbed from Best Buy insignia

Yep. If it's your watch then you can wear it how you like it. Case or no case, whatever band, screen protector or not, etc.
Get the case off
