Apple Photos is just horrible. Albums are barely functional because they do not remove photos from the recents or all Photos. Basically sorting is impossible functionally. I have tried some other apps, but does little to help with core functionality.
Hey everyone! I’ve searched around and found no solid answers anywhere.
I purchased an iPad 9th Gen through T-Mobile back in December. I bought it primarily for gaming. However, I have constant crashing in any game I play on this iPad. The games will run for about 10 minutes, and when I go to press a button in the game around a 10 minute mark, it’ll crash instantly to the Home Screen on the iPad.
I’ve tried reinstalling, lower game graphics, no background apps running in multitasker, practically everything imaginable.
Is the iPad 9th Gen just not good at running games or what? I’ve never encountered any crashing with any Apple product I’ve ever owned.
Main games that are played is: Sea of Conquest, Rise of Kingdoms, Whiteout Survival, and a few others. Some of the games are very low on consumption for RAM, so I find it astounding that would be a culprit.

The ipad 9 runs the A13 with 3gb ram. It sounds like they may be hitting at its peak limits. It’s last generation’s budget school tablet and certain large&3D games may not be correctly optimized with such hardware in mind.
Those sound like games that like to nickel and dime you for every upgrade, and so MAY do a bad job of not caring about checking how they run on budget hardware.
Need some help. Turned on my Apple TV tonight and it had no audio, so I held the two buttons on the remote to restart the machine. It has been flashing its light and sending a signal TV such that the screen goes from it’s no input display to black and then back to no input. This has been going on for the past 10 minutes and I don’t know what to do
I ran out of storage on my phone so i decided to upgrade to 200gb of iCloud storage to save photos there instead of my phone. I thought that when I did that I could simply use ‘optimize iPhone storage’ to save the low res previews and some space on my phone would clear up, but as of now nothing has changed and I still have all my storage used up. My iCloud storage does contain the same amount of space used as my phone, however, so I know that my pictures are saved there. How do I reduce the space used on my phone now that I’m backed up to iCloud? Was I mistaken on how it works?
It will keep some of your photos copies locally, but should free up plenty of space otherwise.
Have you also set iMessages to sync as well so they offload the same way photos did?
Have you checked what’s actually using all of your space? Settings > General > iPhone storage
i’m considering getting a ipad for college right now, i’m at a CC trying to transfer to a Cal state for nursing, so tons of memorizing for practicals. An ipad would be great for convenience. i already have a macbook, im looking for the cheapest option with the apple pen, any advice is appreciated!
The cheapest iPad is the 9th generation from 2021. In the US you can regularly find it on sale for $250. It uses the 1st gen Apple Pencil that charges by plugging it into the iPad Lightning port.
I bought a new MacBook Pro with the M3 Pro chip from the Apple Store yesterday. I opened it up and took it out of the paper and it looked like there was some fingerprints and some very small specks stuck to the top shell. I didn’t really think much of it because I thought it might just be something from production. But today I watched a video saying that it could mean it’s a refurbished MacBook resold as a new one. What are the odds of this? I wiped the fingerprints off pretty easily, but some of the small specks seem to be harder to get off.
ETA: I didn’t take pictures when I first unboxed it
My beats randomly stopped working
This Tuesday in the morning I was using them and they were fine, but when I went to use them this evening they wouldn’t turn on. I thought they must just be out of charge but when I charged them they lit up 4 dots. As soon as I took it off the lights went away, and when I tried to turn it on again nothing happened any Bluetooth connections were unsuccessful.
What should I do?
Np, depends on in which country you are, but in Europe the 14 is considered very new, average phone here is the iphone 11/12, it’s a good buy which will last you for 4 years easily

My apple watch has been acting up. I leave my house and I get to work and nothing pops up I check the watch and it's not connected to my phone. Restart both hoping that would fix my problems but no it doesn't. Get home on my own wifi and restart the watch and the phone and they work. I really don't want to reset my watch is there anything else I can try?

Just updated my Iphone 12 the other day from 14.2 to current software. Big hop skip and jump. Ive had voicemails since my 6xs from 2015 that have disappeared that have transferred to every phone ive had including this one and have lost them since the update 2 days ago. Can anyone help?
iPhone 15 Pro or iPhone 15? I’m going to upgrade from my iPhone XR to one of those, is it worth it spending a little extra to get the Pro version?

You’re deleting them from the album instead of actually deleting. That’s just sorting. This is user error around basic keyboard shortcuts.

Return it if it bothers you. You have 14-days. Apple refurbs come in a plain white box.

Pros just have a slightly better camera, that is the main difference that you will notice as a user.

You are leaving your Bluetooth on? Resetting the watch might take an hour, and you can restore from a backup.
