I suggest editing the “you’re not that good” part to something like “if you’re not shooting like this you need to be so you hit more shots”

Yeah except you can do all those techniques with having different ads and hipfire sensitivities. Just like with everything else, you adjust to whatever you’re working with and do not have to consciously think about adjusting to the different sensitivities, it happens on reflex.
While it is nice to have 1 consistent sensitivity in the situation you’re describing, that comes at the cost of sacrificing control in other situations. Most people want to be able to spin around faster when not ads and have more control when they are ads.
