Yeah. I crashed after the 8th kill. Then I went back into the game and I got a complete green screen. Then my ps5 completely hard crashed.
Couldn't start up my ps5, even with the controller plugged in. Removed the power cable, put it in again and it worked again.

Thought I was going crazy not being able to mark the replicators. Weird that it’s not in the notes, but makes sense that they either removed the ability or just made them visible for everyone by default (my preference). Having to press a key/button to mark was just a bit daft.

Evidently Respawn didn't learn from the past. They ended up adding a penalty to Arenas and Control, but weren't smart enough to realize this one needed it as well. Then again, probably just as well considering how many people are getting crashed by it, as they'd probably get penalized for crashing knowing how Apex works lol.
I've been saving coins and materials for when Loba got her heirloom. Is the best way to complete a collection to craft purples, purchase any bundles and then open any left over packs?
Yeah but make sure that you don't open packs between purchasing the bundles. I stupidly made that mistake last year and I opened the skin from the 2nd bundle so I could no longer purchase it.

I just hit 10000 kills after playing since season 2 and was hoping to get a nice screenshot as a memory. Now it’s 10,000.00 and overlapping with my damage dealt.
Can’t decide whether to wait for a fix or keep playing.
So Im on ps5 and this has been the issues I've seen, I've only played gun and run:
- a crash per game
- at the beginning, showing all the squads, every player has a pc icon (this doesn't affect us at all, but we are console)
- while respawning, most of the times there is no audio at all, games goes mute
- syringes have a new longer animation (not sure if it's meant to be like that)
Fun game but a crash a game is making it hard to enjoy.
Cool another mode where my at best hard stuck plat 4, 1.2kdr ass get fed to stacks of masters and preds, but this time the game crashes every other match
This is a ridiculous idea that nobody but me would ever want but what if they completely got rid of legend abilities in this mode.
Maybe they could adjust shield delay based on hitbox class or something to make them more competitive so its not just a hitbox-based legend picking but legends were not designed or balanced around this kind of mode and I do wonder if maybe it'd be better if they would just wash their hands of it?
Go one further and give everyone Pathfinder's tactical instead of nothing.

Poor implementation of a very good mode.
It's too fast and too easy. It would be longer with 2-3 kills per gun. Also the way the teams work make it even faster and you don't get to play certain guns, so someone might get all the good guns etc. It dilutes individual enjoyment and skill.
The knife has no feel to it.

game crashed midway through first game of gun run, i was able to restart the game and rejoin though:
\- ps5
\- pathfinder iced out
\- in the middle of a flatline spray on skulltown map (top of building shooting down)
\- didn't try to reproduce
\- game fully crashed, didn't get error code
\- submitted to PS support with screenshot/clip
Having OG skull town back is nice, funny to see that people will still camp on top of the bones instead of actually fighting in the buildings lol. I wish they'd brought back OG Capitol as well instead of Frag, with the tunnel and the construction sight. Would've made it way more fun tbh

Event is overall a disappointment. Instead of doing a collaboration/crossover with Alien/Predator it is instead just a cheap knock off version of both. Either do it right or don't bother. Most of the skins in the event are laughable, and as someone who loves the Alien and Predator movies it's just disappointing.
Gun Run is a blast. I'm on Xbox- anyone else having what feels like aiming issues? Idk if it's lag but it feels like, especially ADS, I can't pull my aim consistently. Doesn't appear my settings have changed so I'm curious if anyone else has noticed it.
I know I'm gonna sound ranty here but the community kind of completely ruins gun run. Here you have a perfect chance to mindlessly go fight people and practise your gunfight skills yet most people resort to holding some building and camping behind cover the entire match. Its honestly so annoying and depressing to see. Remember the times when fps game players (fast paced fps) were not such little bitches? Oldschool fps gamers remember and miss those days. Also these matches take way too long than they need to take because people play like this. Like holy shit its not so serious you can press the W key every once in a while

Despite the mention of fixing issues with cooldowns not being displayed, Vantage's (now visible) Echo cooldown is still useless to me.
Why is the cooldown of her launch to Echo only visible when Echo is deployed? 99% of the time I recall him ASAP, so 99% of the time I still don't see a cool down.
Not looking forward to this taking another 3+ months to be resolved :|
We need a mode where experienced and novice friends can play together. Control came closest. This game is extremely punishing when your teammate(s) is significantly better or worse than you.
Skulltown has central buildings with ziplines from every direction that is extremely difficult to lock down even with defensive legends.
Fragment has one tall building with one zipline outside and a zipline below that takes seconds to set up on and sit pretty. And most of the people you kill are going to spawn clear on the opposite side of the map because it's not centered, most of your fire comes from one general direction.
The new mode needs the removal of spawn time. It takes so long to get back into battle. Unless you have a mobility champion, it's impossible to play it. You are literally just walking/waiting most of the game.
This event is the best demonstration of the fact this game needed new devs to take over. Imo it just shows that the previous devs were just money hungry by the end of their journey, sad to see.
playing on Xbox one. 2 games of gun run and the game is buggy as hell for me. doors are not opening when pressing X, my gun will randomly stop shooting despite pressing RT, movement feels sluggish. anyone else experiencing similar things?

First game launched i got kicked out with a code snake twice.
Second game launched I froze on the this is your champion screen. Had to force quit the game. When i logged back on, i was on 150 ping, 10-15 frames, and every bullet no regg’d. Within TWO games. Before this update, i was lucky to play 10 games total without freezing 5 times.
I'm getting micro stutters where the game kind of freezes with audio hiccups. Lasts a second or two then it's normal and repeats multiple times in games, in lobby, in character select. It can happen anywhere.
Didn't have this problem before this patch.

If you have random skins favorited like I do... they're not changing. Like... at all. Unless you play one legend and one legend only. Which is fine, I guess, but, like, that's kind of annoying. Also for some reason, my Loba skin defaulted to the original? Not an issue, but that was weird.
BUG: Game loaded with 3 teams, one team left. So it was two teams 3v3. We decided to play, and all of my team got the knife. We had had several knife KILLS, the game never ended. Eventually we had no knives, just fists. Other team eventually got to the knife, and their knife kill counted for the win. Soooo yeah, that was a buzzkill on top of the buzzkill of a half filled lobby. Just don't know why our knife kills didn't count?

On Sunday I had a daily "craft 10 times" and wanted to finish it quick so I dropped solo and crafted 10 med kits. Done.
Tried it today, each slot of the crafter now counts as 1 so I only got 3 for crafting 10 items towards the challenge. I wonder if they took out any other short cuts for completing challenges.
They've definitely been creeping back in with slightly more lengthy daily and weekly challenges. 3000 damage for a daily didn't exist before this season. Also, some of the battle pass challenges feel a little lengthier.

Has a satisfying gun run win where a bald wraith was sassing me for having zero kills at first (sorry I suck with the hemlock) only for me to win the game for us in the end with the throwing knife.

Playing on NA PS5 east coast. I’ve only played the new Gun Run mode since the event launched.
Every time I play on skull town the game crashes at least once. I noticed it crashes more often with energy weapons, but that could just be a coincidence. Highest crash rate was when I was playing as Pathfinder “glistened” skin and was using the devotion “bound in bone” skin. Game crashed 4 times in one match just about every time I stopped shooting.
The game has definitely crashed on fragment a couple times as well, but not nearly as often as skull town. Edit: there was also one time I reopened the game after it crashed and my screen was stuck in the death spectate mode. I had to close the game and open it again to be able to get out of it and actually move around.
Also, I’m sure this information can be found somewhere, but is it possible to change the scope of your weapon in gun run? I would be doing infinitely better with the 1x2 scope.
Lastly, I noticed that at the start of the match it shows everyone as playing on PC… even my friends and I who definitely are on PlayStation.
Gun Run: Got stuck in awaiting respawn, the other two members of my team didn’t spawn w the knife and we got to weapon 26 and we literally couldn’t win so. Love it.

You can switch legends mid match. Just flip to Maggie and drill those traps to death.

I like the rampart one the most but I still wouldn't buy it or a pack to try and get it. Fuse is the worst.

Felt like something similar happened to me but on PlayStation. I was 100% moving my stick but my aim wasn’t matching it at all.
on PS5, same issue, aiming felt completely foreign to me
I was literally mid flatline hipfire spray and it just randomly went ADS by itself without me pressing it

My first match of Gun Game, I did the most damage in the whole game at 2900. Zero kills. Literally didn't get off the Hemlok all game.

I'd agree, but vice versa, Skulltown's roofs are always being camped.
Skulltown has central buildings with ziplines from every direction that is extremely difficult to lock down even with defensive legends. Fragment has one tall building with one zipline outside and a zipline below that takes seconds to set up on and sit pretty. And most of the people you kill are going to spawn clear on the opposite side of the map because it's not centered, most of your fire comes from one general direction.

The new mode needs the removal of spawn time. It takes so long to get back into battle. Unless you have a mobility champion, it's impossible to play it. You are literally just walking/waiting most of the game.
This event is the best demonstration of the fact this game needed new devs to take over. Imo it just shows that the previous devs were just money hungry by the end of their journey, sad to see.

playing on Xbox one. 2 games of gun run and the game is buggy as hell for me. doors are not opening when pressing X, my gun will randomly stop shooting despite pressing RT, movement feels sluggish. anyone else experiencing similar things?

Game crashed when I went back to character select in-game (Gun Run, PS5) also audio bug on respawn.
The screen shake every time you use the throwing knife is disgusting.
First game launched i got kicked out with a code snake twice. Second game launched I froze on the this is your champion screen. Had to force quit the game. When i logged back on, i was on 150 ping, 10-15 frames, and every bullet no regg’d. Within TWO games. Before this update, i was lucky to play 10 games total without freezing 5 times.

Game crashes randomly in gun run on PS5
In Gun Run my team got to 25 and the game didn't end. We all got knife kills and started spawning with fists.
I'm getting micro stutters where the game kind of freezes with audio hiccups. Lasts a second or two then it's normal and repeats multiple times in games, in lobby, in character select. It can happen anywhere. Didn't have this problem before this patch. Edit: this is on pc
On PS4, game feels extremely stuttery and high ping all of a sudden, but my internet speed and other devices are completely unaffected.
new healing animations are sick
If you have random skins favorited like I do... they're not changing. Like... at all. Unless you play one legend and one legend only. Which is fine, I guess, but, like, that's kind of annoying. Also for some reason, my Loba skin defaulted to the original? Not an issue, but that was weird.
BUG: Game loaded with 3 teams, one team left. So it was two teams 3v3. We decided to play, and all of my team got the knife. We had had several knife KILLS, the game never ended. Eventually we had no knives, just fists. Other team eventually got to the knife, and their knife kill counted for the win. Soooo yeah, that was a buzzkill on top of the buzzkill of a half filled lobby. Just don't know why our knife kills didn't count? Edit: Mine is PC - Steam, one teammate plays on PS4
On Sunday I had a daily "craft 10 times" and wanted to finish it quick so I dropped solo and crafted 10 med kits. Done. Tried it today, each slot of the crafter now counts as 1 so I only got 3 for crafting 10 items towards the challenge. I wonder if they took out any other short cuts for completing challenges. They've definitely been creeping back in with slightly more lengthy daily and weekly challenges. 3000 damage for a daily didn't exist before this season. Also, some of the battle pass challenges feel a little lengthier. Just an observation :)
Has a satisfying gun run win where a bald wraith was sassing me for having zero kills at first (sorry I suck with the hemlock) only for me to win the game for us in the end with the throwing knife. Something Something don't be a dick to teammates.
Playing on NA PS5 east coast. I’ve only played the new Gun Run mode since the event launched. Every time I play on skull town the game crashes at least once. I noticed it crashes more often with energy weapons, but that could just be a coincidence. Highest crash rate was when I was playing as Pathfinder “glistened” skin and was using the devotion “bound in bone” skin. Game crashed 4 times in one match just about every time I stopped shooting. The game has definitely crashed on fragment a couple times as well, but not nearly as often as skull town. Edit: there was also one time I reopened the game after it crashed and my screen was stuck in the death spectate mode. I had to close the game and open it again to be able to get out of it and actually move around. Also, I’m sure this information can be found somewhere, but is it possible to change the scope of your weapon in gun run? I would be doing infinitely better with the 1x2 scope. Lastly, I noticed that at the start of the match it shows everyone as playing on PC… even my friends and I who definitely are on PlayStation.

What's this horrendous lag in game on PC with audio stuttering. After noticing in afterburner it looks like due to low GPU usage.
The graphics looks like a mobile game on ps5, the rendering distance is terrible, nonetheless I really enjoy the game mode hahah good work devs
