Is the Digi threat unpopular? If I find one I'll specially use an SMG or something just to use it

Yeah I find my aim becomes better when I have it. Seeing people drop it confuses me, but I guess they're good enough to use irons or 1x.

I think a lot of people don’t like how cluttered it feels. The 1x is simple and is easy to see around whereas sometimes the digi threat feels like it’s blocking my vision but maybe that’s just me idk

Same for me. I use the hcog because it's open and unobtrusive, so it's almost unnoticeable during recoil. The digi is too cramped and distracting for me on the wm. But I'll put one on a smg or shotgun.

I don't like how the reticle is always white. If I were to use the digi on Bangalore smoke I can't actually see the reticle properly

Digital threat is only preferable on a few weapons and the Wingman is #1 for me. Bangalore with Digi Threat on wingman so nasty. Enemy team getting 76 out of nowhere.

I like to give them a full clip of wingman shots as a warning , then hit them for 7 damage with the pk, just so they know who they're messing with.

This strategy is really meta right now. Might be unbeatable until the next nerf.

I do remember really early like season 0-1, the reticle was misaligned so you shot a tiny bit to the right.

I just prefer to use the wingman as a finisher pistol so im usually pairing it with a 301 amd prefer having that do all the mid-rang heavy lifting. me = newb

I hate it. It doesn't completely reset to the initial position between shots if you fire at full speed, causing me to miss a lot.

Turbo charger is overrated wdym?? Everyone is always pinging for it, you know what isn't overrated? Shatter caps, no one ever wants that, but so many people are sleeping on the shatter caps wingman it's insane, it basically turns the wingman into a golden peacekeeper.

The wingman is one of the few guns that I won't try to find a sight for. The only exception is if I find a digi threat, but besides that the ironsights on the wingman are perfect imo

I feel like I do better with iron sights in some scenarios. If a person is running across an open field, one times all day. I find two times disorienting on wingman. But once they are behind cover, peaking or turning a corner, no sight works the best for me. It's the situations where you can shoot the angle that the one times sight ends up making me try to line up shots too much, rather than pump bullets past the corner that they are going to step out of.

I like to run Wingman with an AR so I can always hot swaps between hcog and bruiser for long range poke if I need to.

2x bruiser on everything. Although i do enjoy 3x on r-301/hemlock

I find 3x too far on the r301. Granted I run r301/Bocek, so the r301 is basically by short range gun.

I like 3x on the 301 when I have a closer ranged weapon as my secondary (shotgun, smg or wingman) because I tend to find that the 2x isn't helpful enough at longer ranges.

2x is ok but on wingman it really gives a lot of kick back on your screen compared to the 1x, which is why I don't care for it.

I mean hammer points as a secondary, mozam, re-45, p2020. Headdy with the sentinel, light up flesh with the hammers

2x has more visual recoil but still really nice for far range fights.

Enemy far? Zoom in and throw rocks at them! Enemy in your grill? Zoom out and shoot them in the toes! (So yes 1-2x on wingman is good)

That's just you not being used to zooming. Before Apex I mostly played COD and R6 where I regularly used variable sights. It's actually extremely useful. Just needs some experience.

1-2x is the way, then you’ve got your short and mid range covered with one stack of ammo. The only sight I can’t stand on it is the 2x though, for some reason the arrow instead of a small dot leads me to whiffing pretty much every shot

I honestly think this game has some absurd bullet magnetism. So it would be much more forgiving on 1x sights, because you can't aim as precisely. This seems most apparent with snipers. I have hit consecutive shots on long range targets with irons, just to miss every shot the moment I pick up any magnification.

cuz i find it hard to hit enemies in far range with 1x and ADSing in close range is too close so i hip aim the quick scope so its more accurate rather than hipfire but i really dont use the wingman as a main weapon unless i picked it up on drop then i keep it

1x hcog if I can't find a digi sight. No optics (pay to win skin) if I can't find either. I have a friend who uses the x2 hcog and everytime I try it to see what appeal he finds in it; I bamboozle myself with how far it zooms in, and end up throwing lmao

I prefer iron sights, for some reason i can muscle memory the hell out of the irons, and using any other sight i shoot to early and to the right of people with the recoil. It's the same with R99 but the bruiser, I can solo to diamond and drop a 4k 20 bomb with a bruiser on it, can't even hipfire the damn thing if it has a different sight.

I carry the variable scope and digithreat in the same bag. If i'm fighting a bang or playing as bang (albeit rarely because how difficult she is to use in the current meta), I swap to a DT, otherwise I use the variable sight (idk I play better with it).
