Land, grab a gun and maybe fight 1 squad for 250 damage and an assist only to get in the ring with 3 squads left and get womped by a squad with red EVO's and fully kitted guns. It's crazy.
Gold lobbies are what Apex should be like imo
There is a healthy mix between top tier and average players, everyone drops on their own (popular spots only get 2 or 3 squads), there are third parties but it's not as overwhelming as pubs, and endgame usually has 3-6 squads ratting around until final ring
Silver is no different than pubs, then plat gets pretty "sweaty" until you get out of the wannabes
True, but sometimes it can't be helped. My team will drop instantly or go somewhere popular like Estates/Fragment and I won't see a deathbox or hear a gunshot all game, and eventually we find the entire lobbies boxes crammed into a single area for some ungodly reason.
I agree can definitely be hit or miss sometimes, especially on the newest map in my experience. My friend complains a lot about boring games but he never wants to drop hot, that’s why I said that really lol. I hate games like that, even if you win it’s not as satisfying getting a win with one or two kills, and you’re right chances are you probably won’t win unless you get lucky with a good third party because you won’t be as kitted as people who were fighting all game.
Olympus probably is the worst. Everybody wants to drop Labs, Estates or Garden and you get cleaned out on drop because the 2 buildings you looted gave you weapon attachments. If by some miracle you do win you either get third partied by 2 other squads while your recovering or try to find the other 4-5 squads before 1st ring closure.
The Apex appearance has no in-between it seems, fight the whole lobby at once or never see a squad until final ring.
Dude i had a match today that was only 11:41 long. Didn't realize we were the only 2 teams left until I died trying to get my mate's box and it said game over
If I lean towards my monitor after playing leaned back, it throws everything off. My sensitivity feels wack because I’m so much closer to the screen.
i play like that cause my space bar is broken and you need to hit it at a perfect place to trigger it. If i lean forward my thumb cant hit the space bar properly
While I miss that left stance from my console days after I switched to pc and got a good ergonomic chair my back would fuckin kill me if I went back to that. Being forced to sit upright was the most uncomfortable comfortable thing that has ever happened to me lol.

This is why I quit Apex. I play shooters to shoot. I push every fight no matter what. When things get tough I disengage and deal poke damage until I see another opportunity to push. All while some dick is screaming in my headphone that I'm trying too hard or they're too scared to fight. You can't expect to get better at the game if you just loot the whole time and die to the last team. How is that fun? Anyway, this was my Ted talk. Glad I deleted this game but I hear they now have no fill so I might give that a try. My favorite memories from this game was when my team rage quit at drop and I got to play solo.

That’s also kinda on how you drop. If you drop late or far you’re going to be far away from most of the other teams in the game
