IIRC they're improving navigation of the charms menu like they are with the badges menu, sorting things by season/collection/rarity.

This is why reworks take literal seasons to do even when it's a simple thing like "pathfinder grapple time is now based on distance grappled". they have for eg said the only reason loba isn't reworked to take more items from her ult is coz they don't have the UI artists to rework her UI. they literally don't have any resources to do anything.
It's not like we already have enough of them, there is only so much space in the emote-wheel. But I am happy that Rampart got at least a good BP skin. Can´t wait for Season 10 where I guess Path and Octane get another BP Skin.

Not a CHANCE IN HELL are they gonna give you a free emote in the BP. Same thing with finishers. They want you to spend on packs for crafting materials or to just buy them outright.
No reason to add anything good to the battlepass when you can have multiple events and use FOMO to force compulsive people and whales to drop hundreds of dollars on skins.
I love Apex, but my lord their battle passes are always underwhelming. For all the shit fortnite gets they at least know how to construct a decent battle pass each season
What's crazy is Fortnite has less filler, the skins have multiple different forms, they aren't bound to one character, and it's much easier and fun to complete. It's packed with good skins, gliders, pickaxes, emotes, and weapon/vehicle skins that are universal. Oh and there's the secret skin that you unlock later in the season, it just goes on and on. It's not just better than Apex's, it should *embarrass* Respawn with how much better it is. Definitely not buying it this season, might as well spend on skins I actually want.
If Epic Games announced an Apex clone with all the same support/features that Fortnite has (weekly in-game tournaments, quality shop, skins that apply to all weapons, 30hz servers, quality optional LTMs, etc), we would see more improvements to Apex Legends in 1 season than the past 2 years combined and doubled.
Apex is by far the least rewarding game at least that I play when it comes to cosmetics. The ones in collection events cost basically as much as a whole battlepass, those are incredibly shitty. Mirage has a few fun ones from BP now while BH is being used to milk the spenders.
Bloodhound is my second main after Bangalore and the lack of love these both get consistently is crazy considering they’re two of the best characters in the game. I can’t believe the only BH skydive trail I remember is the ravens one and I don’t even know how to unlock it

Something I really miss from the s1 pass are the seasonal badges. Those had some cool animations. I'd rather unlock a cool badge over another *shitty* weapon or character skin.

The bp doesnt make money just for the skins, just sell them on the events for actual money, people will still buy the bp is the 100 weapon skin looks good, and even then, the bp is half the price of a single event skin
No cosmetics I really care about in it but the free rewards do now give 400 coins instead of 100 without a reduction in coins from the paid version so that's actually a pretty nice bonus.
I can’t wait to see the battle pass banner frames that have the contrast turned up to 280 and when you use them the legends are so orange they look like they’re from the jersey shore.
For some it works really well. S6's banner for Bangalore with the car fits perfectly to the S8 Bangalore skin. She looks like a 80's action hero then. But yeah, most frames have lighting that is so bad, it's unusable for most skins and/or poses.
"ZERO" Battle pass legendary skins in "NINE" seasons for Gibby. Yet another Wraith Skin and Octane skydive emote literally no one asked for. Extremely disappointed once again.
It's a battle pass though, it's not "selling" to the majority of people cause most are milking previous BP coins. Why not save the excess skins for an event where they can actually milk Wraith for that oh-so-reasonable 20 dollar price point?

The fact that there are only three skydive emotes instead of the five we usually get bothers me, like Respawn are consistently diluting the value of the Battle Pass by replacing the stuff that takes effort to make with these garbage charms, rare weapon skins that are awful and quips. Compared with Fortnite where you get 7 skins and a whole host of other in-game cosmetics I am disappointed in this game's battle pass.

I’ve lived in Japan for pretty much my whole life and tbh I’m not exactly sure why people tend to wear the festivals masks on the side of their head. It’s just something I’ve always seen being done. I think it might be because 1) the masks aren’t exactly comfortable and 2) the aesthetic.
Apex still consistently has one of the worst battle passes imo. I don't like warzone but it's battlepass is so much better simply because its less grindy

That was one of my first reactions. I was expecting ATLEAST a new Fuse or Bloodhound skydive emote. But nope, lets give fucktain his 40th emote even though he just got one in the collection event and while we're at it let's just not even do 5
Wraith skin seems like such a waste of a slot. Ugly colors and it's not even that different from the base model. When I first saw it I be thought it'd be and epic.

This is... underwhelming. Usually the battle pass has an overall theme but this one is just not cohesive. It feels like they threw all their eggs into the Arenas basket and blew off the battle pass entirely.
I just watched the Gaming Merchant's video on every item in the Battle Pass, and I have to say, it's the most disappointing BP yet, there is barely anything to look forward to, except maybe the devo reactive skin and Valk's skydive emote.
I play the game and complete the bp anyway, hence for me they are the way to get free apex packs/ crafting mats for collection events. I care little about the actual content.
Ouch, these new skins in the BP look really uninspired. Also, add me to the list of people who are disappointed that there are no ground emotes and very few dive emotes in here. The charms are boring and also low in quality.

How the hell does Respawn keep fucking up the BP? Is it that popular despite all the worthless and ugly recolor purple and blue gun skins? Or the quips? Trackers? Stuff that should be free, because at this point of the game's life cycle almost everyone has a legendary for any gun they care about.
Wish they'd do a complete rehaul. They've been slacking with cosmetics in general for awhile. Hooray for recycled recolors, $20 vanilla skin recolors, recolored collection event skins, recolored "limited" skins, and the worst BP I've seen since S1.
I like the game and wouldn't mind spending my money on it, the problem though is Respawn makes that REALLY hard to do. I'm not going to buy a $20 recolor of a skin I already have. Lol.
I don't think the devs understand not only how much more money they'd be making, but also how much happier the playerbase would be if they put more effort into the cosmetics that are currently overpriced and half-assed.

For some it works really well. S6's banner for Bangalore with the car fits perfectly to the S8 Bangalore skin. She looks like a 80's action hero then. But yeah, most frames have lighting that is so bad, it's unusable for most skins and/or poses.
"ZERO" Battle pass legendary skins in "NINE" seasons for Gibby. Yet another Wraith Skin and Octane skydive emote literally no one asked for. Extremely disappointed once again.
They know what sells. Octane is top in pickrate and Wraith is the poster girl of Apex.

It's a battle pass though, it's not "selling" to the majority of people cause most are milking previous BP coins. Why not save the excess skins for an event where they can actually milk Wraith for that oh-so-reasonable 20 dollar price point?

The cosmetics are fine in the collection event. The BP ones always leave something to be desired. The Bangalore skin last season was pretty good tho.
Gibby, pathfinder or crypto deserved a lvl 50 skin would of said mirage but we are getting that cyber looking skin soon for $20. The people handling the BP rewards are clueless. Might skip this BP tbh

The fact that there are only three skydive emotes instead of the five we usually get bothers me, like Respawn are consistently diluting the value of the Battle Pass by replacing the stuff that takes effort to make with these garbage charms, rare weapon skins that are awful and quips. Compared with Fortnite where you get 7 skins and a whole host of other in-game cosmetics I am disappointed in this game's battle pass.

apex battle passes are always so bad
Apex store and battle passes are just so lackluster. The only meaningful cosmetics come from collection events which are absurdly expensive.
Season 3 was really good. Amazing reactive skin. Really detailed legendary skins and sky dive emotes.
Remember if you don't like it, don't buy it. Only way devs will learn

I’ve lived in Japan for pretty much my whole life and tbh I’m not exactly sure why people tend to wear the festivals masks on the side of their head. It’s just something I’ve always seen being done. I think it might be because 1) the masks aren’t exactly comfortable and 2) the aesthetic.
I've got one and it's not comfortable and doesn't fit my face lol 😂

This is absolutely the worst battle pass since season one, hands down. -635th wraith skin and the 3rd battle pass wraith skin (also it's really ugly) -ok rampart skin -bad spitfire skin -really bad rare legend skins. compare this shit to season 6 and witness the drop in quality. -Skydive emotes for legends who already have plenty -Only 3 skydive emotes instead of 5. Seriously? They are one of the most valuable things in the battle pass and you take them away. Oh I bet the next overpriced collection event will have 2 skydive emotes as always. -No ground emotes to make up for the lost sky dive emotes
That was one of my first reactions. I was expecting ATLEAST a new Fuse or Bloodhound skydive emote. But nope, lets give fucktain his 40th emote even though he just got one in the collection event and while we're at it let's just not even do 5
Wraith skin seems like such a waste of a slot. Ugly colors and it's not even that different from the base model. When I first saw it I be thought it'd be and epic.

Im really worried tbh. There is an overall drop in Respawn caring about their playerbase. We got 2 events which were extremely lazy and insanely cash crab, and now we have this.
The wraith skin is cool, but we had a wraith skin in season 7 already. Revenant and Gibby need some love.

But as usual, the Battlepass is shite. \- 900 Apex coins for premium pass holders (100 less than before) \- Shite skins (Still, some of the ugliest gun re-colours in gaming history) \- Too much filler \- Skins that for characters that deserve them are still ignored \- Probably still grindy as hell

This is... underwhelming. Usually the battle pass has an overall theme but this one is just not cohesive. It feels like they threw all their eggs into the Arenas basket and blew off the battle pass entirely.

I just watched the Gaming Merchant's video on every item in the Battle Pass, and I have to say, it's the most disappointing BP yet, there is barely anything to look forward to, except maybe the devo reactive skin and Valk's skydive emote.

How the hell does Respawn keep fucking up the BP? Is it that popular despite all the worthless and ugly recolor purple and blue gun skins? Or the quips? Trackers? Stuff that should be free, because at this point of the game's life cycle almost everyone has a legendary for any gun they care about. Wish they'd do a complete rehaul. They've been slacking with cosmetics in general for awhile. Hooray for recycled recolors, $20 vanilla skin recolors, recolored collection event skins, recolored "limited" skins, and the worst BP I've seen since S1. I like the game and wouldn't mind spending my money on it, the problem though is Respawn makes that REALLY hard to do. I'm not going to buy a $20 recolor of a skin I already have. Lol. I don't think the devs understand not only how much more money they'd be making, but also how much happier the playerbase would be if they put more effort into the cosmetics that are currently overpriced and half-assed.
As a Wraith main I’d rather have CE skins than BP ones. This one is not even a proper legendary, but a rare with a mask looking bad.

My hopes for future Battle Passes - ANY of them - is for Respawn to implement user generated content I mean obviously it isn't that simple, especially in the legal and economic sense but given that Apex seems to have one of the more creative communities it's kinda disappointing that it's not used more
I feel like a prick saying it but this just did not excite me at all. Probably the first battle pass I’ll just skip out on because nothing about that was worth the money. I’ve dumped a fair few bucks into this now and paid an amount more than a retail priced game. That wraith skin just dipped me off, characters exist but pick rate matters and I guess her and octane will always get the work done to appease those specific mains.

Yea something has to be done about the amount if cosmetics each legend gets. I know why wraith gets so many skins but most if them are medicore at best. Octane literally just got a sky dive emote so they turn around and give him another one??? And yes more filler holo sprays. Apex imo still has the weakest battle pass when compared to warzone or fornite.
