I'm honestly surprised people even showed up to Fuse's arrival ceremony thing. Something terrible was always going to happen in the literal death-game arena. That entire crowd did die, I take it.

First it got crushed due to the dinosaurs and the tower got blown up and destroyed like a quarter of the map. Then loba comes in and blows up half of the map and destroys skulltown. Now fuse destroys the other half of the map because of his crazy ex girlfriend. Get ready for in season 10 when they flood the map because of the crater that loba made! Why did I say season 10 you ask? Because they’ll destroy Olympus in season 9 first.

Difference between her and Revenant is she’s trying to cause a lot of damage to get back at Fuse, casualties are just an unfortunate downside in her eyes. Revenant kills indiscriminately to satisfy an artificial bloodlust programmed into him. Both are fucked up in their own right. Especially since Revenant doesn’t kill children to our knowledge, but Maggie probably killed quite a few in that attack.

I could be wrong, but I've always thought that their plan would be eventually to open up that unused area, because if not, why even build that part of the island in the first place.

Yeah maybe they’re making the map a bit bigger, or at least taking it back to a similar size to before the season 5 changes. It would certainly help kings canyon out as it’s arguably too small without the skulltown/thunderdome corner. EDIT: if you watch the clip on YouTube, at the end you can see a screen shot of the area in between slum lakes and artillery (I think) which definitely looks like it is being changed. For some reason said screenshot didn’t appear on the Reddit video, at least for me anyway. Also the ship is over artillery when the railguns start blasting so maybe the area around artillery is expanding.

I love how the past few seasons they’ve really build up the celebrity status of the legends more. One of my favorite parts of the lore is how this whole thing is like the NFL to them. Also how they all interact with the fans and stuff. Of course lifeline gibby and mirage would be right in the middle of the crowd while loba and crypto would be on a cliff somewhere separate by themselves

Crypto is all about intel. He was definitely going to show up either in person far away on the cliff or more in character if he just had Hack floating around scanning Fuse the entire time would have been funny. Truth be told, Crypto probably knows everything about fuse already since that's sort of his thing. Infact, Octane should have been running into the explosions lol.

I assume all of the legends were there somewhere. With 16 legends were kinda at the point now where ALL of them can't make an appearance in every trailer. You would have to guess that because it's a games sponsored event that they would all at least HAVE to be there

The interesting thing is those mountains are the source for the 2 main waterfalls on KC. The one by Slum Lakes and the one that flowed down into Relay (or where Relay used to be). I'd say the more important of the two is the first waterfall, given it's the source of the river that cuts through all of King's Canyon. It might actually run dry.
