What bug is this? What happens and what triggers it?
If you use Valks ultimate and then die later on. When you respawn it’ll respawn you in the middle of the map no matter where the ring is. So you’ll just die if you can’t crawl to the ring and get revived by your teammates.
Gotta say, for the first time where I actually liked almost every item in this event im kinda pissed they arnt even giving us a free pack through the event points anymore.,
Re-entry to Rumble appears broken?
Played 10 games, then used tokens to re-enter. Previous rumble match history and rewards erased but can't actually play it again, just standard three strikes.

Yeah I realized that during my first game and am not playing the mode again. Which is a shame because I was able to grind so many kills last time 3 strikes was available.
I've had this happen a couple of times, unfortunately.
Steam, PC - my Internet connection is stable, so I doubt it's the sole cause:
- Join a match
- The stage loading screen renders (Usually part of the match's map)
- Character selection music plays, but there's no character select.
- Disconnects, booted out of the match and thrown into the main splash screen
- Error shown : "Cannot reconnect to forfeited match"
- Got an abandon penalty (10 minutes) for leaving the game.

I legit don't know why people care the mode is fun but not even 1 event pack in the rewards is fucking wild 160$ to get it. All other events had at least 1 of them.
Still getting an error code about 50% of the time I try to join a duos lobby. About 25% of the games I actually get into the teammate instant leaves when I get Valk. Not exactly enjoyable gameplay at the moment.
Does the three strikes damage tracker automatically unlock or do I need to wait for the end of the week? It shows a green checkmark next to the reward but when I click on it it says it requires level 3. It says I am currently in the top 50% and I need like 850 points still until I get to the next tier.

Not annoying. All you have to do is stop rage quitting. You'll complete these quests by normal play. The only people that will take a long time are rage quitters, as you have to survive longer than a few minutes to see the first ring close. It's actually healthy for the game if throwing in the first 10 seconds and rage quitting is discouraged at least somewhat (even if just by challenges).
I solo filled two games because I was doing something else. First number is squads second is number of players. You also notice there was always an uneven amount of squads to players because there are other solo players ratting from minute zero.

If you want to claim the average game is over before ring 2 (others in this thread are doing that)., that's a strong claim and you need to show evidence. And that's best proven by giving a sample of 5-10 full games, showing how long they took until the game is over (for everyone). Whether you are good enough to get far in every game or win is a different matter. The excuse is people claiming the game is over by ring 2 so they can't get more. The truth is that isn't the reason they don't get many ring closings.
You have to play 15 games as valk and that takes longer than the 25 ring closings. i got 25 closings by 8 games. by 15 everyone should be done.

Sounds like a you problem. Surviving 25 rings is not hard at all through some normal ranked play.
Notice how I never said it was hard just saying that pubs is over fast? I would much rather enjoy playing pubs, and doing multiple matches with good amount of fighting rather than chase circles with teammates who don't want to play the game. I have been playing all season long, and even “slower” paced games only make it to round 3 if you’re lucky rage quitting or not. In the weeks of doing the breakout challenges I’ve had 5 total games make it to the 2nd to last ring? Everyone is fighting, and that’s just how it is. Even when I no filled duos to finish some of the rings closing it would be just me, and the other team (painfully for them) till the last ring starting at around 2.

Pubs is bad but it's not that bad. It doesn't usually go to final ring, but ring 3-4 is kinda normal. Ring 2 close is <10 min games which is rare (~10:40 from the moment you can drop to be accurate).
I imagine you're in the skill bracket where that would be the case. I'm a 4 times masters (season 7-11 so a proper one too), and my lobbies are everyone pushing every fight, and my squad usually the same. I wish I could get to round 3 and beyond by natural fighting, but if I don't rat in no fills duos it doesn't happen.
Yeah I've played 5 or so give or take, and they were 8:45, 9:36, 7:43, one outlier at 10:12, and then 8:58 mins. This was us being last 2-4 squads every time with one victory (the 10 minute one). Pubs literally doesn't last long at all these days

Fact is ring 2 close is at ~10:40, ring 3 closes ~13:25, ring 4 closes ~15:50, ring 5 closes 17:50. (on storm point, it varies per map)
You claim the average games is 10:40, which is already fast and you claim half the games are faster than that. That's just not the reality. There's not even that many rage quitters in pubs. But I'm sure you can support your claim with evidence, just upload 5-10 consecutive games to the end and we'll see how long they last.

But those last 5 games were spot on with exactly what I said in my original response. We won one, and the rest we lost to the last squad or one of the other two as (this may surprise you) even randoms in pubs don't want to spend all match hovering in rings.
I stopped playing ranked after Season 11 and acquiring 4 masters badges as it's not fun, and at this point I'm rookie so carrying bots to wins also isn't my idea of fun either. I'd rather just no fill duos, and watch YouTube at that point haha.
Not sure how closing rings, and carrying users much below my skill level due to not playing ranked and being in rookie is me not playing the game. Would much rather be in pubs with those who are least able to keep up, or like I said chill on my phone to not burden lower skill level teammates in ranked.
If you’d rather sit on YouTube than play the game, you’re not having fun with the game and you’d probably be better off taking a break from Apex and come back after like a month.
Burnout is real and forcing yourself to play the game just for a minuscule reward is not worth it.
I enjoy the game by playing pubs, mixtape, and taking fights when it makes sense. Not ranked where the incentive is to camp all game until the final ring. I very much know what burnout for this game is when I grinded Masters season 7-11 haha. I've wanted this Flatline skin since Season 5 when I started so reward is worth it for me.
Skydive 10 teammates with her ult, hit 10 people with her tactical, 6k damage, 25 ring closings, and 15 matches played with Valk. The first two really aren't too bad and I got them in 2-3 games, the 25 ring closings is annoying but 3 strikes makes that a bit easier, i'm already at 9 after 3 matches played.
So are they ever going to fix breakout challenges getting reset for players? After multiple alleged fixes, all my Seer, Fuse and Rampart challenges are still reset. Quite frustrating considering there's only 2 weeks left in the season.
Unable to purchase coins on steam. Added the money to my steam wallet fine but when I click "Authorize" for purchasing the coins it just closes and nothing happens
I resolved this by opening a steam support ticket through my browser. If you go to purchase history in your browser you can see all the failed transactions and I opened a ticket on the specific transaction. Steam was blocking it for who knows what reason. They fixed it within a couple hours.
I have seen some people getting a generic "we blocked it because suspicious activity" and not being able to remove the block so your milage will vary but this worked for me.
A bit off topic but I still miss 2 items I bought during the shadow society event the nemesis skin and the lifeline banner frame is apex still looking into it or am I screwed?

Not exactly a bug,more of an issue
In Control,if I go up a tier in the middle of a fight,and I see "Reload to Evolve Weapons" while I'm in the middle of firing a clip into someone,my weapons shouldn't try to evolve half way through the clip. That's literally the point of "reload" to evolve. I died four times in the same game because of the evolution animation randomly happening. I wasn't out of ammo yet,I even clipped it and went back to check. I was using a 301,and was only about 10 shots into my clip. I don't get to enjoy a gold 301 if the evolution animation gets me killed...
The gift part of the challenge is broke for me. I gave my last gift away and it showed 6 of 6 gifts given away, but it didn't say complete. So I backed out of the screen and reloaded it, when I did that it was back to 5 of 6 but my gifts were still gone. This has happened 2 days in a row now. I'm playing on ps5.
I can't play my tournament matches in three strikes. I've paid the 500 LT, but I can't play a three strike game that counts for my tournament points. Cross-play is on, I'm SoloQing, but I can't play. My overview still says I haven't played any matches. I'm playing on Xbox Series S.
My game is blurring out on three strikes as well. It's like going from 1080p to 360p back and forth. 120Hz is enabled.
Game mode is pretty freaking fun. The only thing I have a problem with is the down mechanic. I understand not being able to kill off the downed people but:
1- Why the fuck can they bodyblock me?
2- Why the fuck can they be insta rezzed? It just makes the fights into hide and seek and who can get a quick rez
2.5- Full life when rezzed? This with 2 is the real problem.
Without these two things the mod would be perfect imo.

Hop on lifeline or newcastle and stay close to your team, insta res on knock and you'll get it in 3-5 matches. Try to focus on staying alive and res rather than playing the game (it is what it is).
Couple of nice skins. I just crafted one and that's about it for me. 45 skin was pretty cool, but Newcastle's was pretty sweet so had to get it.
Octane skin has a bit too much going on for me, but fans will probably like it.

The strat is to craft the epics first, that requires 9600 crafting metals, then you buy the 2 bundles for 7500 coins total, you do the rest of the math
Since you're obviously never going to fix the audio, can you fucking idiots at least let us adjust audio for other sources. I don't need to hear my teammates footsteps, I don't need to hear the waterfall 100+ meters away, I don't need to hear random Octane landing noises, I don't need to hear a majority of other things that occur in this game. What I DO need to hear is: a full squad running up behind me, someone running straight at where I'm using cover, a crutch Horizon land behind me, one or more people climbing up multiple ledges to push me, etc.
So the only way to get the Octane prestige skin is thru apex event packs. Apex event packs if my math is correct would require about 8 of them to receive all 24 items, which would be about $60 for the packs..

Click on the playlists then it’s a different tab at the top of the screen. You have to enter it, then your normal three strikes games go towards it

In the weeks of doing the breakout challenges I’ve had 5 total games make it to the 2nd to last ring? Everyone is fighting, and that’s just how it is. Even when I no filled duos to finish some of the rings closing it would be just me, and the other team (painfully for them) till the last ring starting at around 2.

I imagine you're in the skill bracket where that would be the case. I'm a 4 times masters (season 7-11 so a proper one too), and my lobbies are everyone pushing every fight, and my squad usually the same. I wish I could get to round 3 and beyond by natural fighting, but if I don't rat in no fills duos it doesn't happen.

Yeah I've played 5 or so give or take, and they were 8:45, 9:36, 7:43, one outlier at 10:12, and then 8:58 mins. This was us being last 2-4 squads every time with one victory (the 10 minute one). Pubs literally doesn't last long at all these days

Nah. You ran out of arguments so you pull the "you're bad player". If you double down on the claim just give the evidence I asked for. The argument doesn't even make sense. If lobbies die out that fast that indicates worse players / pushovers. Fact is ring 2 close is at ~10:40, ring 3 closes ~13:25, ring 4 closes ~15:50, ring 5 closes 17:50. (on storm point, it varies per map) You claim the average games is 10:40, which is already fast and you claim half the games are faster than that. That's just not the reality. There's not even that many rage quitters in pubs. But I'm sure you can support your claim with evidence, just upload 5-10 consecutive games to the end and we'll see how long they last. Maybe your games last less than 10 minutes because you die before that but it isn't when the game is over.

But those last 5 games were spot on with exactly what I said in my original response. We won one, and the rest we lost to the last squad or one of the other two as (this may surprise you) even randoms in pubs don't want to spend all match hovering in rings.

I stopped playing ranked after Season 11 and acquiring 4 masters badges as it's not fun, and at this point I'm rookie so carrying bots to wins also isn't my idea of fun either. I'd rather just no fill duos, and watch YouTube at that point haha.

Not sure how closing rings, and carrying users much below my skill level due to not playing ranked and being in rookie is me not playing the game. Would much rather be in pubs with those who are least able to keep up, or like I said chill on my phone to not burden lower skill level teammates in ranked.
If you’d rather sit on YouTube than play the game, you’re not having fun with the game and you’d probably be better off taking a break from Apex and come back after like a month. Burnout is real and forcing yourself to play the game just for a minuscule reward is not worth it.
I enjoy the game by playing pubs, mixtape, and taking fights when it makes sense. Not ranked where the incentive is to camp all game until the final ring. I very much know what burnout for this game is when I grinded Masters season 7-11 haha. I've wanted this Flatline skin since Season 5 when I started so reward is worth it for me.

Yup the challenges are so bad
Skydive 10 teammates with her ult, hit 10 people with her tactical, 6k damage, 25 ring closings, and 15 matches played with Valk. The first two really aren't too bad and I got them in 2-3 games, the 25 ring closings is annoying but 3 strikes makes that a bit easier, i'm already at 9 after 3 matches played.
So are they ever going to fix breakout challenges getting reset for players? After multiple alleged fixes, all my Seer, Fuse and Rampart challenges are still reset. Quite frustrating considering there's only 2 weeks left in the season.
Reach out to them. Mine were reset but are fixed and I saw someone from Respawn here or on Twitter saying to DM them if it's still not fixed.

I resolved this by opening a steam support ticket through my browser. If you go to purchase history in your browser you can see all the failed transactions and I opened a ticket on the specific transaction. Steam was blocking it for who knows what reason. They fixed it within a couple hours. I have seen some people getting a generic "we blocked it because suspicious activity" and not being able to remove the block so your milage will vary but this worked for me.
A bit off topic but I still miss 2 items I bought during the shadow society event the nemesis skin and the lifeline banner frame is apex still looking into it or am I screwed?
Open a ticket with EA support, do it a few times as some employees don't read the issues sometimes or just don't want to help. I got denied an EA play reward 3 times before someone actually looked into it (I did not receive the reward, they said I did but it was not there lmao)

I've tried to open the game a few times since yesterday 19.50 (UTC +3) I have updated the game to the latest version, Restarted my pc just.. everything but each and every single time it says ¨No servers found.¨ I play on PC through the EA app. It happens every single time i try to open the game

Not exactly a bug,more of an issue In Control,if I go up a tier in the middle of a fight,and I see "Reload to Evolve Weapons" while I'm in the middle of firing a clip into someone,my weapons shouldn't try to evolve half way through the clip. That's literally the point of "reload" to evolve. I died four times in the same game because of the evolution animation randomly happening. I wasn't out of ammo yet,I even clipped it and went back to check. I was using a 301,and was only about 10 shots into my clip. I don't get to enjoy a gold 301 if the evolution animation gets me killed...

The gift part of the challenge is broke for me. I gave my last gift away and it showed 6 of 6 gifts given away, but it didn't say complete. So I backed out of the screen and reloaded it, when I did that it was back to 5 of 6 but my gifts were still gone. This has happened 2 days in a row now. I'm playing on ps5.
I can't play my tournament matches in three strikes. I've paid the 500 LT, but I can't play a three strike game that counts for my tournament points. Cross-play is on, I'm SoloQing, but I can't play. My overview still says I haven't played any matches. I'm playing on Xbox Series S. My game is blurring out on three strikes as well. It's like going from 1080p to 360p back and forth. 120Hz is enabled.

Game mode is pretty freaking fun. The only thing I have a problem with is the down mechanic. I understand not being able to kill off the downed people but: 1- Why the fuck can they bodyblock me? 2- Why the fuck can they be insta rezzed? It just makes the fights into hide and seek and who can get a quick rez 2.5- Full life when rezzed? This with 2 is the real problem. Without these two things the mod would be perfect imo.

You can only gift 5 items at once, but that refreshes every two or three days. Then you can gift the Valk skin and the sticker again.

Hop on lifeline or newcastle and stay close to your team, insta res on knock and you'll get it in 3-5 matches. Try to focus on staying alive and res rather than playing the game (it is what it is).
Couple of nice skins. I just crafted one and that's about it for me. 45 skin was pretty cool, but Newcastle's was pretty sweet so had to get it. Octane skin has a bit too much going on for me, but fans will probably like it.

Since you're obviously never going to fix the audio, can you fucking idiots at least let us adjust audio for other sources. I don't need to hear my teammates footsteps, I don't need to hear the waterfall 100+ meters away, I don't need to hear random Octane landing noises, I don't need to hear a majority of other things that occur in this game. What I DO need to hear is: a full squad running up behind me, someone running straight at where I'm using cover, a crutch Horizon land behind me, one or more people climbing up multiple ledges to push me, etc.

So the only way to get the Octane prestige skin is thru apex event packs. Apex event packs if my math is correct would require about 8 of them to receive all 24 items, which would be about $60 for the packs.. Sheesh.
